Book:CEO EX-HUSBAND REGRET Published:2025-2-8

Mitchelle’s POV.
What is this husband of mine saying?
When I told him not to say anything, he still went ahead and spilled everything out in the open, and now he planned on letting my father-in-law know about it.
Gosh! *Smacks forehead mentally*
This man needs to be kicked in the ass to set his brain straight!
Did he forget that he already signed the contract to work with the M. S. group, which is owned by my fucking sister?!
My palms felt sweaty as my gaze darted from Ken to Noah, and then to Estella, who was standing next to Noah, my brother-in-law.
Estella’s hand was wrapped around Noah’s right bicep, and a satisfied grin adorned her ‘ugly face.’
Now I see why she refused to retort at me when I trolled her. It was because she is now Ken’s half-brother’s wife and also the owner of the M. S. Group of Companies Ken had always wanted to sign with!
But even with all this jealousy and contempt I have towards her, I am still not as stupid as Ken to not know what I am supposed to do.
Swallowing every hate in me, I forced tears out of my eyes as I instantly dropped to my knees, my palms shamelessly smacking together as I crawled up to Estella and hugged her legs.
“I am so sorry, Sis. I didn’t know what got into me. I didn’t know what I was doing when I agreed to work with Ken to take everything Father gave to you. I am sorry that I hurt you so badly, Sis. Please find a place in your heart to forgive me,” I pleaded with Estella, countless teardrops rolling down my cheeks but this bitch here refused to say a word.
However, I couldn’t see her face right now because I had my head bowing down before her as I hugged her legs. I was sure that she had a grin on that horrendous face of hers!
*Grits teeth*
If not because I know how beneficial it would be to me if Estella ended up forgiving and accepting me back into her life as her sister, then I would have spat on her ugly face without holding back!
My voice cracked as I looked up into her eyes, “I was too young, sis. I did not know what I was doing when I agreed. I am so sorry to have connived with Ken to kick you out. I now realize that I am so damned wrong! That I was a fool to have left such a sweet sister like you just to be with Ken, who isn’t worth either you or I.”
I tried to blackmail her emotionally with sweet words and pitiful eyes and to make her believe that I regretted hurting her, but her expression remained blank like a white sheet of paper with nothing there to read.
Fuck! This isn’t working. And I am sure this, my damned brother-in-law, is the one behind her changing so much.
The Estella I knew always fell for my fake tears and would always take the blame for me even when I was in the wrong.
“Say something, Sis,” I pleaded with her, desperation in my voice as I tightened my grip around her legs. “Is it because of the way I acted towards you earlier today? If it is then…” I stood on my feet, grabbed her hand, and began hitting it against my face repeatedly.
“Hit me, Sis! Punish me! I deserve to be slapped over and over again. Vent out all your anger at me, but do not remain quiet, Sis Estella. I am begging for your forgiveness so please give me a second chance to change my ways and set things right,” I kept pleading.
Funny enough, the bitch didn’t tell me to stop nor did she resist as I kept on hitting myself with her hand.
But the next words she said left me speechless as my mouth fell open.
“You know you are hurting my hand, Mitchelle.” She said with a snort. “If you want to punish yourself then I suggest you do that elsewhere.”
“But…”
Estella cuts in, “Lastly, I do not want to hear you refer to me as your sister, Mitchelle. We broke all ties the moment you decided to betray me the way you did years back.”
Her words made a gulp roll down the back of my throat, knowing by the tone of her voice that she meant every single word that she said.
“But Mira, we are sisters. Papa told us to stand together through the highs and lows. To forgive and love each other.” My crocodile tears started rolling again.
I couldn’t just give up winning her back on my first trial now that she’s freaking wealthy with so much money that Ken can’t even give to me since the company was almost bankrupt.
“And I want you and Ken to be out of this part in the next minute before I order my guards to kick you guys out!” She said sternly, her eyes cold, not holding an atom of the sisterly love that I could remember. “You guys have caused enough ruckus for the day. I need the party to carry on with no scene,” She said.
Now I was confused about whether I should continue crying or I should just pick up my bag and leave as she ordered me to before I got kicked out by her guards. It would be such a disgrace if that happened.
