Mitchelle’s pov
But if I leave just like that, it would mean I’m not being sincere and regretful. Cause I would be expected to still beg her continuously.
Sigh… I’ve got to do it. But this time, Ken must plead along with me and not stand behind me while glaring at me like he’s disgustingly ashamed of me.
I got on my feet, ran up to Ken, and pulled his hand, “Come on, Ken. Maybe if we pleaded together, Sis Estella would forgive us cause we were both the ones who wronged her. We should plead for her forgiveness together, Ken,” I cried out loudly as I pulled on his arm, but this man refused to come with me as he steeled up his whole body from moving an inch.
I gave him a sharp glare with my eyes, then hugged him like I was breaking down into tears. “My sister wouldn’t forgive me, Ken. What can I do without her,” I cried out louder, pounding hard on his chest like I was feeling hurt and broken from the depths of my heart.
I used the chance of hitting on his chest to whisper some words into his ears which opened his eyes to see things from my point of view.
He must’ve realized that he was dumb to not have begged alongside me.
He moved my body out of the way as he walked up to Estella and Noah slowly, his palms clasped together as he stopped before them.
“Mira, Noah, I am very sorry.”
Dang it! How did I agree to get married to this dumbass? Was I blinded by love or what?!
He doesn’t even know how to fake apologies in a way that would seem believable!
I walked up to her and fell to the ground as I rolled on it with my crocodile tears still pouring down as I continued begging.
Sometimes, I wonder how I’m able to let out so many tears from my eyes freely.
It just rolled so easily but I was glad it had some use, except that I now know that I should’ve ended my tears a long time ago…
“Throw them out and make sure they don’t return here. They should not be seen anywhere around this vicinity nor close to my wife again, Understood?” Noah commanded the three hefty men who just stormed into the party, cladded in dark green uniforms with sunshades.
“Yes, sir!”
They marched up to Ken, but Ken pushed his hands forward, “I will leave on my own accord.” he said, then looked at Estella tenderly.
I remembered that look. He always gave her those loving eyes when they were married, but why is he looking at her like that?!
“Mira, I hope you find a place in your heart to forgive me. You know you can’t remain mad at me for too long. We are business partners now, and I will visit your company for meetings concerning our alliance to cooperate.” Ken said calmly.
“You also know that I have the right to terminate our deal, right? You’ve not invested a dime in it, so canceling the contract would be like a click of my fingers. You better not force me into putting your hopes in shambles and just leave!” Estella Commanded, pointing her fingers at the entrance of the door.
“Sure, I will leave. But be expecting me tomorrow in your company,” He flashed her a die-for kind of smile before he turned to leave.
So he’s leaving? He died even asking me to come along with him!
“Are you going to leave along with your husband, or should we drag you out?” One of the guards asked, and when I looked around, I realized that countless lights were flashing at me from the paparazzi.
Damn!
The guard suddenly grabbed my arm as I was still lost in thoughts. I didn’t want to leave and returned to that small apartment Ken rented with a few hundred dollars!
I can no longer live in such a small house when I am sure my sister must have a big mansion somewhere in New York.
“No! Estella, you can’t throw me out like this. I am your sister; tell them to let go of me! Please, I can’t go back to that shabby house he called home. I beg of you, Estella,” I cried out louder, kicking my legs in the air, but another guard grabbed my leg and hung it in the air as they carried me outside while I wiggled my body.
The next thing I knew was that I was dumped outside the gate.
I couldn’t believe that Estella would do such a thing to me. She loved me and was always willing to do anything for me. She always forgave me, even without my pleading but now she kicked me out of her party like I meant nothing to her.
My face darkened as the image of Noah smirking at me replayed in my mind. He was enjoying how we begged Estella.
He might not have said a word, but I am sure he was the one behind Estella changing so much in these past years!
“Damn you Noah Sylvester!! I fucking hate you for changing my sister so much!!”
A small cab drove up to me and whined down the windshield, revealing Ken in the backseat.
“Are you done yelling? Get inside now before disgracing yourself some more,” He grumbled, snorting at me.
“No! Get the fuck away from me!”
“Fine then,” He said, then told the cab driver. “She’s not coming with me. Take me back home,” He instructed, shocking me cause I expected him to beg the way he always did!
Before I could stand and catch up with the cab, it had already driven far away.
“Arghhh!!! I hate you, Ken! I should have never gotten married to you! You and Estella are a perfect arrogant couple meant for each other! I regret ever choosing a butthole as my husband!” I screamed at the car that had zoomed off into the distance, leaving dust particles behind.
