Chapter 78

Book:Damian's Demon Clan Published:2025-2-8

Damian’s POV
……….
Looking up at the huge hole in the ceiling. I start looking for a good spot to climb up.
Not being able to transport out of this place is going to be a pain. I can jump pretty high, but that is a huge distance to jump.
Looking over at the dead hybrid I killed just moments ago. It gives me an idea.
A frogs tongue is very sticky and can stretch pretty far. Maybe I can use it to climb out of here.
I walk over to the dead hybrid, and untie its tongue from the plier, before walking up to its face. I rip out the tongue completely, causing blood to spatter all over myself, ground, and walls.
I am definitely going to need to take a shower, before I can hug Willow or little Jasmine. No matter how many times I try to keep blood off of my hands, arms, face, and clothing. It never fails that I get blood somewhere.
Hopefully the food is not contaminated. I have been killing hybrid left and right. So, my clothes are already drenched in hybrid blood, and I know the backpack has blood on it too.
I am just hoping blood didn’t seep into the food. I would check it, but I don’t want to contaminate it with my dirty hands.
Hanging on to the lower part of the tongue, and throwing the upper half at a rock pliers. I watch it stretches out, and instantly sticks to the plier.
Looks like it will help me out of here after all.
Giving the tongue a good tug. It takes me a few times, before I can get the tongue to unattached from the plier.
Yep, it is definitely strong. So, it will be able to hold my body weight, and I won’t have to worry about it coming undone. Especially since it takes a lot of force to get it to come unattached to something.
It was probably a good thing I avoided the tongue as much as I could. It’s tongue was probably the most dangerous part of that hybrid. Once it’s tongue is wrapped around you. There really isn’t away to get free from it. Due to how sticky it’s tongue is.
Just touching the tongue and tying in a knot was a issue for me. It would keep sticking to my skin and pulling. So, if I was a human it probably would have taken chunks of skin off both hands.
Even now it is sticky as hell, but since it doesn’t have its saliva from the hybrid to keep it moist. I can feel the differences between how sticky it is now. From how sticky it was just moments ago.
So, I should probably get going now, before the stickiness rubs off, because I am not about to lick this thing to give it moisture.
Looking up at the giant hole. I try to find a good spot to climb up at.
I let out a sigh, ” I am just going to have to wing it. There really isn’t a good angle to climb up.”
Hearing a loud hissing sound behind me. I let out a groan and turn around facing a hybrid with a snake head and a body of a mountain lion.
” You know, I like to be taken out to dinner first before you fuck me!” I tell the hybrid and dodge it’s head by jumping backwards.
It’s head slams into the dirt, causing dirt to go flying into the air. Watching its head slowly lift up, and make eye contact with me. I notice black acid drip from its fangs onto the dirt creating a small hole in the ground.
So, it’s fangs have a poisonous acid on them. It’s a good thing I dodged it. I am going to need to kill it before climbing up that hole in the ceiling.
If this thing can fly I am screwed. So, killing it now would be for the best.
I watch its head stretches out and it’s mouth opens wide showing me all its sharp fangs. It’s hot breath hits my face.
I scrunch my nose and watch it get ready to strike at me. I wait for it to get into a striking stands, before I jump onto its head. Slamming it face first into the ground. I was busy watching it’s head, that I wasn’t paying attack to the rest of its body.
I feel something hard slam into me. It sends me flying across the room and smacks me into a rock pilers. I spit out blood and land on my feet.
Looking back at the hybrid, I notice that it has a snake tail with spikes on the end of it.
” You got to be kidding me. It’s mixed with three animals! What do these things do? Fuck like rabbits?” I says out loud to myself.
” Yeah, they do actually.” I hear a familiar voice says.
Looking up at the hole I see Virgil. ” Where the fuck have you been?” I ask him.
Virgil smiles down at me, ” Sorry for being late. Me and Kristin got here thirty minutes ago. It was a real fight just getting to the hotel room. Where Willow and everyone was at.” He told me.
” Yeah, I had to help them get inside. You can also drop that bag of food. Virgil brought food for everyone.” Dean says as he comes into view.
” You were suppose to stay with Willow.” I say Dean.
” A few of my cousins are with Willow and Kristin. I think it will be fine.” Dean informs me.
” Which cousins?” I question him in a worried tone.
Don’t get me wrong I love Dean’s family, but a few of the Blood Clan members are a little insane. I once watched one of them take a squirrel apart and make a necklace out of its intestines.
So, you can understand why I am wanting to know, who he left with my pregnant fiance and daughter with.
” It is Violet, and Inosuke.” Dean says with a smirk.
” You better be joking!” I snap at him.
Virgil and Dean both laugh, ” No, I am not.” Dean tells me.
Violet isn’t just unstable. She is completely nuts, and will play with something until it dies. While Inosuke has a habit of torturing people and keeping them alive for long periods of time.
” Dean! They are insane!” I yell at him.
” They aren’t going to hurt Willow or any of the kids! Not to mention they are strong enough to kill hybrids. It will even give us enough time to clear out all the hybrids in the rest of the resort, and cut them off before more arrive” Dean tells me.
We do need to clear these hybrids out, before anymore show up. Hybrids move in packs, so when they start moving to a certain area. They take it over completely and kill anything and everything for food. Sometimes they even kill just to make that location there new breeding ground. So, we need to kill them and cut the rest off, before it gets out of control. Along with finding out who let them all in.
” What about the floor that caught on fire?” I question him.
I almost forgot about the fire. I was suppose to go to the third floor to activate the sprinkler system.
” We already took care of it and figured you might need help.” Virgil says as gesturing towards the hybrid infront of me.
Looking back at the hybrid I see it charging towards me at full speed.
I run towards the hybrid and grab ahold of it’s throat. I push with all my strength and pin the hybrid down onto the ground. I can feel the tail smacking me in the back. As it’s jaw snaps around my head trying to take a chunk out of me.
” Move!” Dean suddenly yells at me.
As I let go and quickly jump away. I see this metal object go flying by my head. It goes right through the snakes skull killing it instantly.
” Why didn’t you just kill it?” Virgil questions me.
” You are up high! Up close this thing is fucking huge. I couldn’t find a opening to kill it.” I tell him as I take the backpack off.
As I am tossing it onto the ground. I notice how disgusting the backpack looks. It was drenched in animal body fluid and has a huge rip on the side of it.
Yeah, it is a good thing Virgil brought food for everyone. I didn’t realize there was a huge rip in the side. The bags of food are drenched in blood. So, Willow wouldn’t want to eat it, and I wouldn’t give that to Jasmine. Hybrids are disgusting creatures and there is no telling what diseases they carry.
” Be ready to help me up.” I tell Dean and Virgil.
” We are ready now! Hurry the hell up!” Virgil says as a loud growl echos above them.
