Audrey exchanged a glance with the bodyguard at the hospital entrance, and two burly men immediately walked towards Rosalind.
In this unfamiliar country, it was so easy to hide someone’s death!
Back home, Audrey might still have some reservations, but here… was her territory.
“What do you want?” Rosalind instinctively stepped back.
“It’s all because of you! You’ve caused chaos in the Walters family, and my son got seriously injured. My well-planned arrangements were completely ruined! You deserve to die, you wretch!”
Audrey had never been reprimanded by her husband before, but now their relationship was strained because of Rosalind!
How could she swallow this anger?

“Who told you Ulric was here?”

Audrey glared fiercely at Rosalind and then turned around angrily.

Caesar dismissed the people around him and faced Rosalind alone.
Both of them fell into silence. Finally, Caesar spoke first, “You and Ulric can’t be together.”
“I know.”
She had known this four years ago! Otherwise, she wouldn’t have chosen to divorce Ulric back then.
“Then why did you still…”
“Returning to Northville City wasn’t my own decision. Sirena kidnapped my child, and I had no choice but to go!”
Caesar nodded. He was well aware of that.
But that wasn’t the point now. “I can also see that you’re not someone who seeks wealth and luxury. However, I hope you understand that we cannot accept you as our daughter-in-law.”
“I know that too.”
“Good. Since you already know, let me make it clear! The two children you gave birth to for Ulric must be brought back to the Walters family. No matter what happens, I cannot let the bloodline of the Walters family be scattered outside.”
“No! They are my children!” Rosalind immediately refused without hesitation.
Caesar anticipated that she wouldn’t agree immediately, and he smiled, “Hear me out! As long as you agree, I can let you go in and stay with Ulric until he wakes up.”
