Chapter 512: Leah’s Grievance

Leah didn’t answer immediately. Instead, she buried her face in Kayden’s arms, crying her heart out for a long while.
Minutes later, her sobs gradually turned into soft sniffles. The scene was awkward, to say the least. This was a school, surrounded by a bunch of kids, and Leah collapsing into Kayden’s arms had drawn plenty of curious stares.
Perhaps kids at that age might think it was romantic, but for Kayden, it was nothing short of uncomfortable.
After a while, Leah’s emotions began to settle. She slowly lifted her tear-streaked face to look at Kayden and said, her voice full of grievance, “Those bullies…”
“Who? Who are the bullies? Tell me,” Kayden asked, his expression serious.
Before Leah could respond, a mocking voice rang out from behind them.
“I wondered what you were up to, but it turns out you came to our school to flirt with a student. Impressive! So, what is this? A breakup followed by chasing after a younger girl?”
Kayden and Leah turned their heads at the same time, spotting Audrey approaching them.
Audrey was furious after what had happened earlier. Kayden had kissed her, only to discard her just outside the school gates. Unable to swallow her anger, she followed him to see what he was up to. And now, finding him holding another girl in his arms, her rage flared even higher.
This man, she thought, was the worst of the worst.
Audrey glanced at Leah, who still looked heartbroken, and said, “Girl, you probably don’t know about some of this guy’s… habits. Let me warn you – don’t be fooled by that honest, harmless exterior. He’s a complete creep.”
Though an intern teacher, Audrey didn’t carry herself with any authority. Instead, she acted more like one of the students, or even an older sister.
“You’re a pretty girl, you know? You could do way better than him. Don’t waste your youth on someone like that. Trust me, it’s not worth it.”
Leah, still dazed, looked at Audrey and asked, “Who are you?”
“Leah, don’t you know who she is? She’s Miss Atkinson, the new intern teacher,” the girl standing next to Leah, who was quite attractive herself, explained.
Upon hearing that Audrey was an intern teacher, Leah’s expression softened slightly. She turned to Audrey and said, “Miss Atkinson, I think you might be mistaken about my boyfriend. He’s not the kind of person you’re describing.”
Boyfriend?
Kayden was speechless. Leah was really something – she’d started calling him her boyfriend even in public now.
Audrey frowned and said, “You can never truly know someone. How do you know what he does behind your back?”
As she spoke, she irritably wiped the corner of her mouth, clearly still upset about earlier. The memory of it only made her angrier.
Leah wiped away the last tear clinging to her face and, still sniffling, said, “Actually, something happened, and that’s why I called Kayden here to help me.”
“Something happened?” Audrey froze for a moment before saying, “No matter what happened, you could’ve told your teacher or the school’s security office. Why would you call him? Is this how you young people solve problems? What if there’s a fight? You’ll be the one getting punished.”
Audrey recalled Kayden’s fighting skills. He was undeniably strong – after all, he’d once kicked Bruce Peters clear across a room.
Leah’s voice trembled with frustration as she said, “If telling them worked, why would I have called him? Not just my teacher, even the principal and the head of security won’t do anything about it.”
As she spoke, anger flashed across Leah’s face.
It all started two or three weeks ago. Leah had recently joined this school as part of an early college program. She was an exceptional student, eligible to skip the usual exams and get into university directly. Eager to experience college-level courses, she’d come to this school with excitement.
At first, everything seemed fine. But gradually, Leah noticed something strange.
Some of her peers, who had also joined from Hiphia, began acting withdrawn after being called into a certain teacher’s office. Just last week, one of them went on medical leave and was taken home by her family.
When Leah asked her classmate what had happened, the girl refused to say a word.
Then, Leah herself was summoned to that teacher’s office. She thought it would be a normal conversation between teacher and student, but things took an unexpected turn.
At first, the teacher discussed school matters with her in a professional manner. But soon, he steered the conversation in a different direction. He asked Leah if she liked anyone, if she was interested in dating, and other inappropriate questions.
Then, he flat-out told Leah that he liked her – that he had been drawn to her ever since the first time he saw her.
Leah was furious. She didn’t hesitate to show her displeasure, her demeanor immediately turning cold.
But the teacher didn’t back off. Instead, he pinned Leah to the desk, his hands roaming over her as he whispered disgusting, lewd comments.
Leah was so enraged she felt like she might explode.
Just as things were about to get worse, there was a knock at the office door. Seizing the opportunity, Leah broke free and bolted out of the room.
The teacher didn’t dare chase her. Leah’s first instinct wasn’t to report him but to retreat to the girls’ dormitory to collect herself.
Having never encountered anything like this before, Leah was at a complete loss about what to do.
While she was still trying to calm down, her phone rang. Without thinking, she answered it.
On the other end of the line was the same teacher, his voice dripping with malice. He told her to add him on WhatsApp, saying he had something to show her – something she’d regret not seeing.
Reluctantly, Leah added him. The teacher sent her a video.
It was footage of her classmate, the girl who had recently left school. The girl had been stripped naked, and the teacher was doing unspeakable things to her.
Watching the video, Leah finally understood why her classmate had been so despondent and why she’d left school.
The teacher then warned Leah not to tell anyone about what had happened. If she did, he threatened to release the video online, ruining the girl’s reputation forever.
Leah was furious but didn’t let the threat deter her. She went straight to the school administration to report him.
