“Alright!” Billy responded.
Although he didn’t know why Sanaa had come to the Dark Court and why she asked him to kill, he raised no objections. He knew there would be a fierce battle today.
As he spoke, he felt a mix of emotions. Sanaa had grown increasingly confident in him, asking him to kill without hesitation despite the significant level difference.
“Make your move. I have the Nine Dragons Cauldron and the Heaven Book on me. Defeat me, and they’re yours!” Billy paused briefly before looking at the blue-robed Divine Sovereign.
“Arrogant!” The blue-robed Divine Sovereign replied in a deep voice, “Do you really want to die?”
“Let’s see if you have the strength!” Billy glanced at him.
“Hall Lord, let me handle him first!” The blue-robed Divine Sovereign turned to Romeo Osborn.
“Sovereign Dario, be careful,” Romeo Osborn said after a moment of thought.
“Alright!” The blue-robed Divine Sovereign responded.
As soon as he finished speaking, a powerful aura erupted from him. “Follow me, let’s fight somewhere else!”
“Sure!” Billy shrugged.
Soon, they were several kilometers away.
“Let me see how strong the so-called Eternal Prodigy really is!” The next moment, the blue-robed Divine Sovereign shouted and disappeared.
Surrounded by lightning, his figure moved with incredible speed, causing the air to crack and the pressure to rise rapidly. A massive blade formed from four intertwined lightning bolts slashed towards Billy, tearing a rift in the air.
Sanaa frowned slightly at the sight of the attack. She had confidence in Billy, but this strike from the blue-robed man could rival a ninth-rank Mystic Kun Realm. She wasn’t sure if Billy could withstand it. However, she knew Billy’s physical resilience was extraordinary; even if he couldn’t take the hit, it would be hard to injure him seriously. So she didn’t plan to intervene.
Meanwhile, Billy also made his move. He unleashed a Sky Burial Blade with about eighty to ninety percent of his power.
A loud explosion followed, and a black hole appeared in mid-air. Both Billy and the blue-robed Divine Sovereign were thrown back several kilometers. From their conditions, it was clear they were evenly matched.
“No wonder you could kill Quincy Osborn; you do have some skill,” the blue-robed Divine Sovereign said after steadying himself.
Without waiting for a response, he charged at Billy again.
This time, Billy didn’t engage directly. He used Nether Wings to dodge backward while taking a mystic-grade Chi Condensing Pill from his storage ring and swallowing it.
“Stay here!” the blue-robed Divine Sovereign expert shouted, forming seals with his hands and attacking Billy.
Billy countered with another Slaughter Sky Blade but was once again thrown back several kilometers by the force of the attack. After stabilizing himself, he spat out blood and continued retreating.
“They say you’re an Eternal Prodigy, but I don’t see it!” the blue-robed Divine Sovereign taunted as he pursued.
“It’s enough,” Billy said as he stopped and looked at his opponent.
“What, not running anymore?” the blue-robed Divine Sovereign sneered.
Before he could finish his sentence, Billy attacked again with a Sky Burial Blade at full power. The blade’s light outshone lightning itself.
Sensing danger, the blue-robed Divine Sovereign’s pupils contracted slightly, but he didn’t retreat. He summoned his lightning blade again.
“Sovereign Dario, you can’t take this! Retreat!” Romeo Osborn shouted from behind, forming a seal with his hand.
Before his attack could reach halfway, Sanaa’s sword light intercepted it. Meanwhile, Joslyn Oneal and another eighth-rank Mystic Kun Realm Divine Sovereign rushed towards the blue-robed Divine Sovereign. But it was too late. Billy had lured his opponent far enough to prevent any rescue. If he had used full power from the start, the blue-robed Divine Sovereign wouldn’t have died!
Joslyn Oneal and the other Divine Sovereign had barely covered half the distance when the Sky Burial Blade cut through the blue-robed Divine Sovereign, splitting him in two and sending his soul fleeing.
But it wasn’t over. As Billy’s blade struck, his Dark Puppet moved in. The blue-robed Divine Sovereign’s soul hadn’t recovered from the shock before it was pulled by a powerful force.
“Stop!” Joslyn Oneal and the other Divine Sovereign attacked the Dark Puppet at the same time. Billy also acted, forming a blade net that partially blocked their attacks.
A loud explosion followed as their attacks hit the Dark Puppet, sending it flying back several kilometers. But Joslyn Oneal and the other Divine Sovereign looked as if they had swallowed flies because the blue-robed Divine Sovereign’s soul had been absorbed by the Dark Puppet.
“I’ll kill you!” the other Divine Sovereign roared, ready to attack Billy.
“Sovereign Conner, stand down!” Romeo Osborn shouted.
His face was even grimmer now; their strongest Divine Sovereign was gone. He wanted to kill someone badly.
“Hall Lord, I must kill him!” the other Divine Sovereign replied.
“You’re no match for him. Stand down!” Romeo Osborn ordered again.
“Sovereign Conner, step back,” Joslyn Oneal added.
“You better pray you don’t fall into my hands!” Sovereign Conner glared at Billy before retreating.
Billy retrieved his Dark Puppet into the Nine Dragons Cauldron Space and returned to Sanaa’s side.
“Not bad,” Sanaa said.
“Miss Sanaa, you’re too kind,” Billy smiled faintly.
“No need for modesty,” Sanaa replied before turning to Romeo Osborn.
“So what now? Will you hand over the token willingly or force me to kill everyone to get it?”
“The token is our Ancestor’s treasure for the Dark Court. Do you think I’ll give it up easily?” Romeo Osborn responded coldly.
“Do you really think that token can command them?” Sanaa retorted. “How naive! After all these years, they’re not who they used to be. That token is useless in your hands…”
“That’s our concern!” Romeo Osborn interrupted her. “I didn’t want to be your enemy, but if you wish to die, I’ll oblige.”
“Then stop talking and fight!” Sanaa glanced at him. “I know you have a trump card. Show it now or you’ll have no chance.”
“As you wish!” Romeo Osborn shouted. “Everyone fall back!”
With that command, all Dark Court members quickly retreated.
The next moment, four violent auras erupted from below the manor. Four pillars of indeterminate material shot into the sky, each with a shadowy figure standing on top. The figures were identical in appearance and form, clearly four avatars of the same person.
The pillars formed a square space several kilometers wide in mid-air. Massive black chains appeared on each side of the square, locking down the entire space like a giant cage enveloping Sanaa and Billy…
