Chapter 59

Book:The Lycan Twins’ Abused Mate Published:2024-12-8

Ava’s POV
“Who the hell is this?” Ava asked.
“I should be the one asking this question,” the stranger whispered. “Who the hell are you?”
“I am Ava. I was Aiden and Ethan’s girlfriend,” I answered back.
The unknown stranger grimaced before mumbling, “You were just their plaything. Stop being arrogant. You were merely the toy they used to pass the time. Aren’t you shameless? You were fucking two brothers, despite knowing they were twins. You’re a shameless slut.”
What the fuck? I was speechless.
“By the way, I am not here for you. I am only here for my mate.”
“Who is your mate?” I asked, finally finding my voice.
“Aiden, of course. We are a couple,” she answered back.
I was about to teach her some lessons before Aiden squeezed the hand that she placed on him.
“Who the hell is your mate, Anna?” he roared before hurling her away.
She whimpered. It must have hurt a lot.
Aiden moved towards her.
“Anna, answer my question honestly. Think before you answer me. You know the consequences if you dare lie to me.”
“Yes, yes,” she retorted.
“How did you find us? How did you know about this place?” he asked her.
“I… I traced you guys to this place,” she answered back.
“Lies.” Aiden clasped her neck. “You know what will happen to you because you lied to me.”
“I am sorry. Please forgive me,” she hummed.
She was twirling in fear. She was scared. But why? Aiden was not a scary guy.
“Aiden,” I shrieked. “Halt. Enough. Stop hurting her.”
I didn’t know why it hurt to see her in pain. I could feel her pain as well.
“Please let her go.” Aiden glanced at me before letting her go, but he still insisted she must tell him the truth.
“Tell me, how did you find us?”
“I eavesdropped on the Lycan King talking to my father about your mate, the spy he sent to ogle over you,” she replied. “Tell him about your mate and where you live.”
“What?!” Ethan cried out. “Is Father aware of our mate? Shit, we are in trouble, brother.”
“What kind of trouble is that? Ava, speak out. Are you trying to hide me from your family? Am I, not your mate, or have you been lying to me?”
“What?” Anna cried out. It was her turn to speak out.
“You are their mate? Both of them? A human? I can’t believe this. What kind of fate is this? A human mated to the future king of the Lycan Kingdom, the Blood Moon Pack. You can never be our queen. The Lycans will never accept a weak, stupid human like you. You will be killed by the king before you get to be crowned queen.”
“What? Why will I be killed? Why? What is my offense?” I asked.
“Your crime is being their mate. Your offense is being a human. Your invasion is being a useless and weak mate to them. You are censured,” Anna smirked as she continued, “I will advise you to rescind them, or else you will soon meet the King of Hell.”
“No wonder they repudiated me the first time we met. They were endeavoring to protect me from their father. I understand better now,” Ava let out. She was interrupted by Aiden, who spoke out.
“Don’t mind this manipulated bitch, Ava. We were your mates, and our duty was to protect and love you forever.”
“No, you are wrong,” I announced. “Your duty was to protect me, as you said, but I didn’t need your protection. I wasn’t scared of anyone. I would protect my loved ones. Not only that, but I would protect you guys.”
“No one dared to hurt my loved ones and go scot-free,” I said as I walked up to Anna. “And you, I am never going to rescind them. They are mine. I will stay, love, and protect my mates, and I will never forgive whoever stands between us. And I am not a weak human like you said; I am the Queen of Hell. I fear no one. And next time I see you around my mates, or you touch them with your filthy hands, I don’t fucking care whether you are a Lycan or not. I am going to shred your hand away. I am going to make your life a living hell. Do you understand me?”
Aiden’s POV
Wow, that was the first time I had seen our mate dealing with a Lycan female like this. She was bold and portrayed as a queen. She spoke with authority. She roared, and I saw her in a new light. She was never a weak human. She was our queen and a perfect mate for us.
She was a queen, an authority, and a mother to the Blood Moon Pack. I was so proud of her. She made us understand she did not need our protection, and she promised to protect us as well. She would fight alongside us, and we would conquer all our enemies. I didn’t care whether it was my father or not. If he refused to ratify Ava as one of us, then he was my enemy. I would never forgive anyone who hurt my mate.
Anna’s POV
Was she, not a human? How could she speak with such authority like this? She made me cringe. How could I be scared of a weak human like her?
I never knew she was their mate. On my way here, I planned to scare her or kill her if I got to see her.
An unknown power was zooming out of her body when she spoke to me. I was forced by an unknown force to bow down to her. She was more frightening than the Lycan King himself.
I intended to frighten her and demonstrate to her that I was more suitable for Aiden as his mate and that she was nothing more than a weak, useless human.
On my way here, I planned to show her who the big boss was and threaten her to make her leave Aiden alone. If she refused, I would kill her. But it was the other way round – now. I was too scared to look into her eyes, and the power zooming from her body did not exist in this world. She was a powerful being, and I dared not cross her, or I would get myself killed. She promised to protect her loved ones from the Lycan king.
Interesting. I couldn’t wait to watch them kill themselves, and at the end of the day, I would be the winner. I would be crowned queen, and I would help her take good care of her mate.
Come to think of it, she looked like me. We looked alike; we had the same color of hair and the same body type.
Was she my sister from another mother? Did my father have an affair outside the pack? Did he cheat on my mother? I had to find out from him.
Aiden and Ethan’s POV
Two weeks later
What we were timid about finally arrived. Our father needed our presence in the pack. We were sure it was all about our mate issue. We had no choice but to go back to the pack.
“We’ll be back, Ava,” Ethan let out.
“Let’s leave together. Take me with you,” she said.
“No, not now. We will take you to our pack soon, but not now,” Aiden uttered.
“Then when?” she implored. “I think we should all go together.”
After arguing for a long time, we finally agreed with her, and we planned to go together.
We would be driving to the pack instead of going in our real form. Ava, you were going to bear with us. It would be a long drive since we were traveling by car,” Aiden clarified.
“No problem as long as I follow you guys to your pack,” she said.
The next day, we prepared all that we needed, and we started our journey.
The journey was a long drive. It could have been easy, and we could have been at the front of the pack by now if we were traveling in our form.
We wished we could carry our mate on our back, but we were scared of our Lycans. They would make use of the opportunity by mating with her.
After the long drive, we finally reached our destination, the Lycan kingdom.
“Wow, this was so beautiful,” Ava grumbled. “Is this where you live?”
“No, this is just the entrance,” they announced. “We are yet to arrive at the palace.”
We met different people. They were so handsome and beautiful Lycans. All these people were Lycans; they were not humans. It was entirely different from our world.
They had big trees that surrounded their place. Soon, I would rule over and protect these people as if they were my loved ones.
We finally stopped at a big, beautiful palace. I opened my mouth at the sight of this beautiful place.
“We are here, Ava,” Ethan said as he held my hand. “Welcome to our home, darling.”
We met numerous people who bowed their heads to greet them. They stared at me.
“Why were they all glancing at me like this?” I asked. “I am curious.”
“They can sniff you, and they know you are a human. They were also curious to know who you are because this is the first time a human dared to step into our land,” Aiden explained as they guided me into the palace.
Ava’s POV
We walked far into the palace until we reached the throne place. I saw someone who looked so much like Aiden and Ethan but in an older version.
It was the Lycan king they were all talking about.
“You are here,” a woman’s voice inquired.
Who was she? Oh, my God. She was stunning and elegant. She looked exactly like a goddess.
“Yes, Mother, we are here.”
Mother, she was their mother. She was so gorgeous.
“Who is this young lady?” she implored.
“This is Ava. She is our mate, Mother,” Ethan murmured. “Ava, this is our mother, the Queen of the Lycans.”
“You’re what?” the Lycan King roared. He was powerful. His roar echoed through the throne place. He stood up from his throne and walked directly to me.
He smirked. “A human dares to step on my land. You are a lump of dead meat, and I shall show you the consequence of stepping onto my land without permission and claiming to be my son’s mate,” he screeched. They all bowed their heads in fear, including my mate who said they would protect me. His roars did not affect me.
Why? Why was I not affected a bit by the powerful roars? I gazed into his eyes.
He was shocked by my action.
“Are you challenging my authority?” he asked. “Are you challenging me to a fight by glaring into my eyes?” he growled as his hand turned into fur.
Ethan made me understand how the Lycans behaved. I was sure his Lycan was already on the surface.
I scowled.
“Do you think I will be scared of you? You are nothing, and your powerful roars are not affecting me at all. Even if you growl and howl from now until tomorrow, I will never bow my head to you. Instead, you should bow your head to your goddess. I am your ancestor. Bow down your head, Miller,” I snarled, and it was a powerful one.
