Chapter 60

Book:The Lycan Twins’ Abused Mate Published:2024-12-8

Ava’s POV
How did I do that? That wasn’t me. Another being resides within me. How did I know the Lycan King’s name?
“How dare you, bitch!” He charged towards me at incredible speed. He stood before me, clamping my neck tightly, muffling my cries. Not only that, but he also intended to kill me.
“Stop!” The Lycan Queen intervened. “Enough, Miller! Stop this at once!” she screeched.
“I told you to stop. Stop, demon,” she called out another name. “Don’t make me repeat myself.”
Finally, he released his grip on me, dropping me to the floor. I looked up at my mate, who had promised to protect me from their father’s wrath. They were still bowing their heads.
“Aiden, you are a disgrace to this pack. Look at the slut you claim as your mate,” he sneered.
“She’s not a slut or a bitch. I would appreciate it if you stop calling her that,” Aiden finally spoke up, lifting his head.
“You’re in love with this weak human, aren’t you?” he implored, his head snapping in my direction. He glanced at me with revulsion.
“I am in love with her, and I plan to spend the rest of my life protecting and loving her,” Ethan retorted.
“Wow. I can’t believe you fell in love with a girl like her,” he affirmed, sending out a powerful aura. “She is not fit to be a queen. I can never accept her.”
“We never asked you to accept her, Father, because she is not your mate. She is our mate,” they both answered back.
“What?!” he cried out. “Bitch! Look at what you’ve caused! You deserve to be slaughtered and sliced into thousands of chunks! You turned my boys against me.”
“Stop screaming, Lycan King,” Ava said.
The king attacked his sons.
“What do you think you’re doing? You want to kill my sons?” The Queen uttered as she fired at the king.
“I’m sorry, my dear,” the ferocious King asked for forgiveness.
I was speechless. Is he still the same person who threatened to kill me?
“I am sorry. I should not have attacked your sons,” he apologized.
“Sons, take your mate to your room,” the Lycan Queen declared.
“What? No, never! She will never be their mate! That evil being will never be their mate!” He grew furious again.
The queen glanced at him.
“You are so annoying, Miller. Let’s divorce. I can’t put up with your demeanor and manners again.”
“What? Please don’t do this to me. Mia, please don’t leave me. Don’t divorce me, please. I am sorry. I know I’m wrong,” he fell to his knees, begging without caring that we were watching them.
Wow, the power of being his mate is something you can never imagine.
“Okay, I won’t divorce you on one condition. If you can accept it,” she whimpered.
“Yes, tell me. I will accept anything,” he conceded.
“I want you to accept her as one of us. Protect her like your family and loved ones,” she declared openly.
The king went silent for a few seconds. He was thinking.
I was eager to know what he was going to say.
“I can’t accept that, Mia,” he spoke out, “but I can accept her as their mate.”
“That is good. She will try her best for you to accept her, won’t you?” the queen asked me, full of smiles.
“I will, my queen,” I replied.
“Call me mother,” she said, smiling at me. She pulled me closer to her before hugging me.
“Where is Isabella?” Aiden asked his mom.
“Oh, she finally met her mate. I guess she is with him,” she replied. “You all can go now.”
We thanked her before leaving.
On our way to their room, I was curious to know who Isabella was.
“She is our little sister,” Ethan grumbled.
“We know you’re curious to know who Isabella is,” Aiden added.
“Oh, my bad,” I said.
The Lycan king’s POV
My mate compelled me to accept that bitch I wanted to kill on the spot. She dared threaten me and challenge my authority.
I could never accept her as my family. She could take the title of being their mate, but she could never be introduced to the pack, let alone be crowned as the Lycan Queen. I would make sure of it. She dared question me. She dared ask me to bow my head. I admit she was powerful enough to make me bow down my head. I nearly bowed to the powerful aura she emitted. I would never let her rise above me. Never. I despised that slut. I would never forgive her, and I would always remember the humiliation she’d given me today. She made my son question me, and she made my queen want to divorce me. I would never forgive her. I was still talking to myself when someone knocked on my office door.
“Come in,” I said as Chris walked in.
“My king,” he bowed his head in respect.
“Chris, why are you here?” I was surprised to see him. I didn’t recall summoning him.
“My king, the pack members keep discussing the visitor we have among us,” he said.
“Oh, you mean that human bitch?” I said with disgust. “The one my son claimed as their mate?”
“A human?” Chris asked. “My king, can you permit me to see her?”
“Why? For what?” I asked him.
“Anna told me about her. She said she looked exactly like her, and I’m guessing if she is my long-lost child, Anne, Anna’s twin sister.”
“What?! She can’t be. She’s a weak human,” I retorted.
“Please, my king. Allow me to meet her to confirm whether she is my daughter or not,” he begged.
“I have no choice but to accept his request. I’ll try to convince him that she is not his lost daughter but just a rude girl from the human realm.”
“She is in Aiden’s bedroom. Allow me to ask him to bring her along.”
“Thank you, my king,” he said.
After a few minutes, we heard a knock on my door. I knew it was them.
“Come in,” I said as the three of them walked in, holding her hands and protecting her from me as if I were a devil.
“Oh, my God,” Chris opened his mouth.
“Anne,” he cried out, holding her as if his life depended on her.
“Who are you?” she asked calmly.
“This is my father, officer,” Ethan said.
“Sir, why are you calling her Anne? She is Ava, not Anne, and I don’t think you have met her before,” Aiden said.
“She is Anne, my king,” Chris said as he faced me.
“She is Anne, my lost girl, Anna’s twin sister.”
“Are you sure of what you’re saying?” I asked Chris. “Do you have anything that can prove she’s your lost daughter?”
“Anne, do you have a dark mark like a moon crossed on your belly button?” he asked.
“What? How do you know?” Ava asked.
“That mark was there from the day your mother gave birth to you. It was a tiny crossed moon. That was your birthmark,” he said.
“I am your father. Your mother, you, and your sister were attacked by our enemy when she wen t to visit her parents. Anna was rescued by me, but you were nowhere to be found. I never abandoned you. Ever since then, I have been desperately searching for you.”
“You are my father. No wonder I was sold and treated like that. The man I have known for all these years. He is not my father,” she muttered.
“What are you talking about, child?” I asked. “What do you mean by being sold?”
Aiden explained my daughter’s past to me, and I was very furious.
“How could he do that to you? He is still your father. He should not have done that to you. I am sorry, honey. I should have tried hard to find you. I caused all your pain. I’m so sorry,” I began to weep.
“Don’t be. I am happy. I have a family now, Father,” Ava said as we both hugged each other.
I was speechless. I sighed.
“I never knew you were Chris’s child. Can you forgive me, lad?” I asked.
“What? Father, are you serious?” Aiden asked.
“What? Can’t I apologize to your mate?” I said shamelessly.
After everything I had done, I wanted to choke her to death.
Ava smiled before replying, “Yes, I do, my king.”
“Please call me father,” I said.
“Father,” she called, and I smiled.
“Father,” she called me her real father. “Allow me to introduce you to my mate. This is my mate Aiden and Ethan.”
I was surprised.
“Two mates?” I asked.
“Father,” they called me. “Please entrust your daughter to us. We promise to take good care of her. We will be good and obedient mates to her, and she will never suffer with us.”
“Of course, my Princes,” I said. “She is yours. I entrust my daughter, Anne, to you.”
The news spread throughout the pack about the lost daughter of Officer Chris, and she was also the future queen of the pack.
“No, this can’t be,” she screamed, breaking the cup.
“I will never allow this. I will never accept her as my sister. First, she stole my mate and my crown, and now she is about to steal my father away from me.”
