Greece.
It felt like a different world, and Hannah was truly amazed. The country was beautiful, especially when Alden took her to Santorini. The blue sea, the breezy air, and the unique and charming houses, predominantly white and blue, were breathtaking. However, Alden’s condition made it difficult for him to navigate the many stairs. Alden, wearing a thin white shirt, was drenched in sweat but never complained about being tired.
“We should head back to the hotel,” Hannah suggested.
Seeing Alden, Hannah felt terrible. Even though there were many places she wanted to visit, she didn’t want to make Alden suffer.
“You still want to explore, don’t you?”
“We can do it tomorrow.”
They had arrived in Greece last night, stayed at a hotel, slept soundly, and headed to Santorini early in the morning. There were still several days left to explore, and Hannah wasn’t in a rush. The important thing was to enjoy every moment with her beloved husband.
“Besides, it’s already late afternoon, almost time for dinner. And you need a shower,” Hannah added.
Alden chuckled softly. “You’re right.”
They returned to the hotel, which wasn’t far from the center of Santorini. It was a luxurious hotel, designed like an apartment, with a kitchen, a living area, and a spacious bedroom. Hannah thought the room could actually accommodate several people.
When they arrived at the hotel, the staff immediately asked if they wanted to dine in the restaurant or have their meal delivered to their room. Hannah chose to have it in the room because her feet felt very sore.
Alden must have been in even more pain.
After freshening up, Hannah put on a kimono and came out of the bathroom. A hotel staff member was pushing a food cart, talking briefly with Alden before leaving.
“Do you want to eat now?” Alden asked.
“Later. I’ll make some tea first. Do you want some?”
Alden nodded and winked.
Hannah went to the kitchen and boiled water in the electric kettle. Unbeknownst to her, Alden started to stand up and quietly walked over. He no longer needed a walking aid. He wanted to surprise Hannah.
“Honey, we have chamomile tea and a few other types. Which one do you want?”
Hannah turned and was startled to see Alden standing behind her. Alden laughed at Hannah’s wide-eyed reaction.
“You don’t need the walking aid anymore?” Hannah asked. “Since when can you walk?”
“Just now.”
“Oh, honey! I’m so happy for you!” Hannah hugged Alden tightly.
Alden hugged Hannah back even tighter, then cupped her face with both hands, kissing her repeatedly.
“Thank you. If it weren’t for you, I’d be a grumpy man in a wheelchair with a messy beard and mustache,” Alden said.
“Did you have to remind me of that?”
“Yes, look how far we’ve come.”
Hannah nodded and wiped away the tears of joy she couldn’t hold back.
“I love you, Hannah.”
“I love you more, Alden.”
Alden gently pushed Hannah’s body against the kitchen island, lifting her kimono and softly caressing her pearl-white thighs. He then removed the kimono, laying Hannah on the island. Hannah felt a chill as she was left with nothing covering her body.
“Alden, please…”
“I’ve always wanted to do it in the kitchen.”
“Oh my gosh!”
Alden ignored Hannah’s protests and spread her legs wide.
“Alden,” Hannah moaned as her husband began kissing and sucking between her legs. Hannah was at a loss for words, her mind unable to think anymore.
“I want to make you scream all night,” Alden said.
Hannah just nodded, her eyes closed. “I’m yours…”
He wanted to create unforgettable memories, making Hannah reach the peak of pleasure that night.
All night, skipping dinner, only the sounds of Hannah’s moans of pleasure from Alden’s touch and kisses filled the room.

“Oh, hello! I thought you hadn’t returned from your honeymoon,” Susan greeted.
Hannah, sitting behind her desk, chuckled softly. The five days and four nights of their honeymoon had been wonderful. Alden insisted on extending their stay, but Hannah thought about her responsibilities at Texco. Besides, there was a meeting at Goldtime that Alden couldn’t skip again.
“Hello, Susan.”
“What’s changed about you?” Susan laughed, placing a file on the desk. “Oh, I know. It’s called ‘happiness’.”
“Stop teasing me.”
“I’m actually jealous of you.”
Hannah looked at Susan. “You’ll find your happiness. I’m sure of it.”
Susan sat in a chair facing Hannah.
“I’m not interested in marriage, Hannah. I think dealing with men is too complicated.”
Hannah couldn’t deny that, but on the other hand, didn’t men feel the same way?
“Maybe you just haven’t found someone who’s right for you,” Hannah suggested.
“Maybe. But I’m not interested.”
“Isn’t there any man you think is okay at the office?”
Hannah knew Susan never went out to hang out at entertainment places, cafes, or the like. Her secretary just went home and to the office, seemingly uninterested in socializing.
“Do you think there is?” Susan scoffed.
“Bernard? Isn’t he an eligible man?”
“What?” Susan sounded shocked. “No. I don’t even want to think about it. He’s my boss, geez!”
“Okay, I won’t bring it up again.”
Susan cleared her throat. “I forgot to say, congratulations to your husband for his full recovery. How do you feel?”
“Thank you. It feels like a dream.”
“You’ve done a lot for Mr. Harrison. I still remember the first time we met; he was in a wheelchair, looking grumpy and unfriendly,” Susan chuckled softly, “but… he’s changed. He’s like Alden Harrison before the accident.”
“I hope this happiness isn’t temporary. I want to see Alden become even greater.”
“By the way, do you know Goldtime partnered with Giantic?”
Hannah nodded. “Yes, what about it?”
“Well, I accidentally overheard Mr. Gulfman talking to your husband while you were on your honeymoon. Do you know one of the directors of that company is Kenneth?”
“Who’s Kenneth?”
