Chapter 88
“You will not speak unless spoken to in my house. Do you get that? ” The tattooed man thundered into Elena’s ears, and she nodded in fear.
She was trembling but tried so hard not to show her weakness. Instead, she lifted killer eyes to Theo and glared at him in a way that sent the message that he was not safe from her in any way.
A few weeks ago, Dominic had made a deal with Theo on her behalf. The deal had required him not to touch her again or abduct her for any reason, but here he was breaking his end of the deal and doing just what he had signed not to do. Why he was doing it was what she couldn’t understand.
And now, here is this tattooed man threatening her just because this was his house. She just wished she could suddenly attack Theo and scratch out his eyes for betraying them. After all, Dominic had paid him on her behalf.
“Why are you looking at me like you want to kill me?” Theo asked laughing.
“Hold on! You didn’t think I would let you go after you finally succeeded in killing my brother. You definitely didn’t think that money would replace my brother and soften my heart.” He mocked and Elena could see the pain in his eyes as she blinked twice and froze.
Last she heard, his so-called brother was in a coma. Was he really dead? No one said he had died.
Elena suddenly feigned courage and spoke.
“I didn’t kill him.” She muttered in a strong voice, and Theo smirked at her in surprise as she brought her eyes down a bit. “Moreover, he was trying to rape me and it wasn’t my fault! So, you can’t blame me for that.” She added, but with the look in the huge tattooed guy’s eyes, she knew she was in trouble.
He had barely listened to her when he grabbed the light cloth they had given to her to put on and ripped it apart in a split second.
Elena gasped in shock, and her heart sank as she immediately tried to cover herself back with the part of the material that was left.

At Klaus’ residence, Eva was making a phone call outside on the porch. The caller had definitely pissed her off as she was yelling at him through the phone.
She was pacing the length of the porch in anger, her eyes were frantic as she kept walking up and down. Her hands moved from her waist to her mouth to bite her fingernails in anger.
“What do you mean by you can’t find him? Are you fucking insane?”
” Shut up and listen to me. I can’t be there right now. Make sure you find him as soon as possible or consider yourself gone as well. Nonsense!”
With that, she hung up the call angrily and then dialed another number,
“Such incapable fool. He can never do a job properly.” She muttered angrily to herself as she waited for the number she was failing to pick up the call.
After a few seconds, the call was received. Her impatience was palpable as she didn’t even wait for the person to speak.
“Are you ready?” She asked.
“Yes ma’am. We are ready.” Responded the voice on the other end.
“Good! We move tonight!” She said and hung up.
Eva stood on the porch for a minute and allowed the afternoon breeze to brush through her face, calming her anger for a minute before she took a deep breath, releasing herself from the anger before she turned around to return to the house.
Immediately she turned, her eyes met with Klaus who was standing at the entrance suspiciously looking at her.
Her heart skipped, and she swallowed and tried to pretend nothing had happened, hoping he had not heard her conversations.
“Hey! You scared me.” She said holding her chest in mock surprise. “How long have you been standing there?” She added with a smile as she began walking towards him but Klaus did not even bat an eyelid as he kept looking at her.
“Who were you talking to?” He asked knowing that she had finally noticed his presence.
Eva was surprised by the question but she tried to maintain a cool face and even raised an eyebrow to show her nonchalance. Then she sighed and rolled her eyes at him.
“That’s so nosy of you. But anyway, I’m moving my plan closer than you think. So, you should do your part and get Elena out of the way. I have a plan going in motion and very soon, she would be gone for good.
