Lilith
I clasped my hand tightly over my mouth as tears threatened to fall from my eyes.
Has Alpha Casper been using me all this while?
I should have listened to Raphael. He was right after all. His heart would belong to his baby mama, not me.
I was just a tool to satisfy his lust.
I felt so mad at myself that I wanted to pull my hair out of the roots.
Why didn’t he tell me he had kids? How didn’t I not notice?
Where were they? Did he hide them?
Increasing the brightness of the phone, I entered the closet, searching through the pile of neatly arranged clothes, shoes, and other children’s stuff.
I opened the wardrobes, went into the toilet, searched under the bed, and all the places kids could hide when they decided to act mischievously. Still, there was no sign of children.
Maybe they went on holiday. They would be back after their vacation, and I would wait to hear the excuse he would cook up.
I lowered my head, pulling the handle of the drawer open and several pictures of Alpha Casper, and these kids scattered everywhere.
I breezed through them, memorizing the content before arranging them in their previous positions.
Images of the children when they were kids, to when they crawled and when they did other activities couldn’t stop haunting me, making tears drop down my eyes.
After the painful visit to Tyler and Taylor’s room, I entered the room, turning on the light and pocketing my phone as I braced for more shocking secrets.
It was a lady’s room.
Feminine items were stacked on the wardrobe that was in the large closet. No scent lingered in the room or on any of the items, indicating that it had been a long time since she visited the room.
The bed was neatly arranged, and things were kept orderly.
The image of Alpha Casper kissing a woman made me sick to my stomach, and I almost puked on the floor.
A white cloth peeking under the duvet caught my attention, and I tossed the duvet aside.
Horror flashed in my eyes when I saw a burnt wedding gown.
The same wedding gown that Alpha Casper weeded unto while on his knees when I sneaked into this floor.
I remembered vividly how he kept mentioning Marina while holding onto the gown tightly like his life depended on it.
It made sense.
He probably got married to Marina, but she left him for some unknown reason.
But why was the gown burnt?
I wish someone could tell me the answer, but all of them had a thing for keeping secrets.
Several pieces of evidence portraying Alpha Casper and Marina as lovers flashed through my eyes, and I didn’t know when I broke down in tears.
A heart-wrenching pain almost tore me apart as hurt lingered in me.
I had never been this betrayed.
I couldn’t believe he was a two-timed son of a bitch.
I snapped the evidence on my phone, putting them in their original position before heading out of the room.
I had barely turned when I sensed a powerful aura behind me. The heavy scent of honey and chocolate hit me hard and my heart almost jumped out of my chest when I stood facing Alpha Casper.
I almost passed out in fear when I saw a gun pointed at my face.
When he recognized me, he gritted his teeth in anger, putting the gun aside before watching me as if he was about to end my life.
My breath hitched and I shut my eyes, expecting his rough hands to grab me and throw me against the wall before yelling at me to get out of the room so that he could think of a befitting punishment that would last me for the rest of my life as a result of breaking his rules.
A minute passed and the terrifying aura around him faded. I peeled my eyes open, taking a glance at him.
His eyes grew calm as he watched me. The feeling of his hurt and disappointment lodge at the tip of my tongue.
“What are you doing here?” He demanded, using his terrifying Alpha tone that jerked me in fear.

Casper
Sometimes, I could be a light sleeper, while sometimes, I was a deep sleeper.
The moment I heard the sound of objects ramming against each other, I knew something was up.
I grabbed my gun in my drawer, tiptoeing to trace the origin of the sound.
As I entered Marina’s room, the stalker sensed my presence, freezing in shock on the spot.
I cocked my as I was prepared to blow the person’s brain off before Lilith’s scared face came into view.
What the hell was she doing in Marina’s room?
Why did she find pleasure breaking my rules?
But instead of going all mad at her like I would have been before falling in love with her, a strange sense of calmness filled my heart.
I tucked the gun into the large pocket of my shirt, ignoring Max’s pleas to forgive her.
“You are forbidden from entering this room or the room before my room,” I spilled, watching her eyes grow big in shock. “I know you went in there. Don’t even lie.”
Hee head hung low in disappointment for a second, but in the next second, it felt like a strange feeling possessed her, making her look me in the eye boldly.
“How dare you use me?” she confronted me, storming towards me full of rage. Before I comprehend the reason for the sudden shift in her emotions, her hand found its way to my face, making my ears and cheek sting in pain.
I stared at her in bewilderment, wondering why she slapped me so hard.
“You thought you could keep me in the dark about your little affair?” She charged at me, but I dodged her flying hands.
I wanted to be mad at her, I wanted to punish her badly for disrespecting, but I found her jealousy cute.
If only she knew she was jealous about a dead woman.
“Let it go, Lily.”
“It’s Lilith to you and this little affair between us is over!” She lashed out in anger, breathing heavily.
“How could you be so cruel enough to hurt me? You kept your shenanigans private just because you wanted to sleep with me!” She accused me, tears ran freely from my eyes.
“I should have listened to Raphael. You don’t love me, you are just using me and when Marina is back, you will dump me because she is the mother of your children!”
Her words crashed heavily upon me like a ton of bricks, leaving me bruised.
“Who told you about them?” I demanded, going close to her but her hands stopped me from moving another inch closer. My eyes twitch non stop from rage.
“None of your fucking business! I’m done with you and your pathetic lies.”
“So you are just going to leave me just like Marina did. Fine, go ahead.” I swallowed, lowering my head in silence. “This will be the last time I will fall in love.”
“Stop playing the victim -”
“I’m not playing the victim. You are jealous of someone who only exists in my memory!” I didn’t know when those words escaped from my mouth, but it felt like a huge burden was lifted off my shoulders.
She stopped in her tracks, turning to meet me with a dazed look displayed on her face.
“Come again?”
I took in a deep breath, pushing down the bitter taste of pain that lodged at my throat as my last memory with Marina replayed in my head.
“They are dead,” I broke the bombshell and the atmosphere got silent.
“All of them? Including Taylor and Tyler?”
I nodded in agreement, blinking back the tears that threatened to fall from my eyes.
“Marina too? Gosh, I’m so horrible. I can’t believe I hit you because-”
“It’s fine. You have every reason to be jealous.”
“I’m sorry.” She pulled me in a warm embrace before whispering in my ears.
“I don’t want to talk about it.” I shut my eyes, imagining the horror they went through in the furnace of fire.
My heart clenched painfully as their desperate screams filled my head.
“Save us, daddy!” My twins screamed in anguish as they yelled to me, waiting for me to bring them out of the fire, while I watched helplessly.
My strength returned when they had burnt beyond recognition.
I hated remembering that day.
“It’s fine. I’m sorry for reminding you. It’s fine if you don’t want to talk about it.” She patted me softly on my shoulder, rubbing her hand on my head.
It felt better.
“But I want to talk about what happened between you and Raphael earlier.” I said and she pulled away from me, staring at me in shock.
“Nothing happened.” she tried to defend, but I could tell she was hiding something.
“Anna told me she saw Raphael rough handling you and calling you a whore.”
“It’s nothing, we settled it.”
“He shouldn’t refer to you as such.” I growled, clenching my fist so tight to draw blood.
I would have punched Raphael in the face if he was beside me.
“We are fine now. It doesn’t matter anymore.”
“No. I will teach him never to lay his hands on you or disrespect you again because you are mine!”
