After Eliezer and his group dispersed, Chandler pulled Darnell into a corner, wiping sweat from his brow with a smile. “Darnell, it was my fault yesterday.”
“I apologize to you. Now that I signed the contract, can you prescribe some medicine?”
He pleaded in a low voice, “Not just a one-time thing, but something that restores me to normal.”
Darnell responded calmly, “Didn’t you say my prescription was ineffective?”
“Darnell, I was wrong. Let’s not bring up the past.”
Chandler’s cheeks reddened as he bowed with a smile. “I shouldn’t have tried to cheat you out of ten thousand.”
“I apologize again, and I swear I’ll never disrespect you again. I can guarantee we will have more cooperation in the future.”
He added with an awkward smile, “Please give me a chance.”
“Since you’ve realized your mistake…”
Despite knowing Chandler was a scoundrel, Darnell admired his flexible attitude. “Alright, I’ll give you a prescription.”
“But I must remind you that while this prescription can help you regain your vigor and return to a normal state, you need to control your desires.”
“Your body is already weak. If you’re oversexed, no one can save you.”
Darnell handed over a prescription. “Even with this prescription, you’ll only last a year or so if you don’t listen to me.”
Chandler’s body trembled, and he exclaimed in surprise, “A year or so?”
Darnell smiled slyly and patted Chandler’s shoulder. “If you limit yourself to no more than three times a month, you can maintain your normal state for about five years.”
“No more than twice a month can sustain you for ten years. Once a month, and I guarantee you’ll be strong even at sixty.”
Darnell had learned from Casey and others that Chandler had played around with many women in the past. To punish him and limit him, Darnell gave him this prescription while emphasizing the severity of Chandler’s condition to curb his desires and reduce harm to others.
“Once a month, and I’ll be fine at sixty?”
Chandler clutched the prescription, his eyes brightening. “Darnell, you’re not lying to me, right?”
Though the frequency was low, being able to enjoy sex until sixty was far better than impotence.
“What good would it do me to lie? I want long-term cooperation with you.”
Darnell laughed heartily, “If you find out I’m lying, you can come find me anytime.”
Chandler nodded. “Alright, I trust you.”
He had no choice but to believe, since no one could treat him. Darnell was his last hope.
Chandler fumbled around on his body before finally pulling out a white card and handing it to Darnell with a smile.
“Darnell, this is Vantage’s VIP card. There are only three of them. Use it at Vantage for any expenses.”
“Not only will you receive the highest level of service, but all costs are waived.”
“Food, drinks, and entertainment, all free of charge.”
Chandler put an ingratiating smile on his face. “A token of appreciation. Please accept it.”
Darnell’s eyes lit up as he grabbed the card. “This gift is so valuable. I feel bad accepting it.”
Chandler said sternly, “We’re friends. No need to feel bad. Take it.”
“In that case, I’ll accept it gratefully.”
Darnell quickly pocketed the card while Casey and the others watched in amazement.
Two hours later, after signing the contract and as Chandler left with the prescription in hand, Casey and her group erupted in cheers.
They were ecstatic.
The three women each gave Darnell a kiss on the cheek. No one had expected to achieve five million in sales without any kickbacks.
What once seemed like an unattainable goal of ten million now seemed within reach. Their admiration for Darnell grew even more.
Darnell enjoyed their gratitude but lamented their brief kisses. “Why always on the forehead? You’re free to kiss on the lips.”
The three women giggled and dispersed.
Other team leaders in the sales department also offered their congratulations before returning to urge their members to contact clients quickly.
Moon Team, second from last and who had mocked Phoenix Team in the morning, was particularly frantic now, each member rushing out with their phones to visit clients.
Moon Team’s quarterly performance was just eleven million. If Darnell secured a few more big orders, Phoenix Team could easily surpass them.
By then, Moon Team would be the one getting fired.
“Mr. Halford, let’s treat you to lunch.”
After handling the order, Casey and Shayla surrounded Darnell excitedly with youthful energy and sweet scents.
Casey snatched away the carrot from Darnell’s hand with an intoxicating smile on her pretty face. “Tell us what you’d like to eat. It’s our treat.”
Shayla nodded eagerly. “We’re so happy today!”
Darnell grinned mischievously. “How about you offer yourself?”
Casey and Shayla were momentarily stunned before playfully hitting Darnell in shyness.
Around the same time, Chandler leaned back in his Audi with the air conditioning on. He took out his phone and snapped a photo of Darnell’s prescription.
He then sent the photo via WhatsApp to someone named Theresa.
After confirming she received it, Chandler dialed another number. Soon after, an icy yet proud voice came through.
“This is the prescription he claims will restore your vigor?”
The cold woman reminded Chandler, “Don’t forget that he tricked you just days ago.”
Chandler’s face showed shrewdness. “This prescription was just given to me by Darnell. I haven’t tested its efficacy yet.”
“I’m just giving you a heads-up, so you can’t say I hid anything from you later. Once I confirm its effectiveness, I’ll inform you immediately.”
“Last time Darnell tricked me because he didn’t trust me. It’s normal in the business world. This time, I’m eighty percent confident in this prescription.”
Chandler exuded confidence. “Darnell has no reason to deceive me now and can’t afford to offend me.”
“Alright then. I’ll hold onto this prescription for now and have experts prepare some samples,” Theresa said flatly. “If it really works as claimed, we’ll profit handsomely this time.”
Chandler laughed, “You won’t be disappointed.”
“Darnell also has another formula that makes wounds disappear within three hours without leaving scars, very valuable for cosmetic applications. If this prescription works too, Darnell is quite talented,” she said calmly. “We should introduce him to Pioneer Properties then.”
Chandler hesitated before asking, “What if he refuses?”
Her tone turned icy and dangerous as she replied. “Then he will die!”
