Jake thought for a moment before nodding. Although his mommy had repeatedly told him not to show his face outside, this lady had helped him a lot. If he refused her now, he wouldn’t know how to explain.
The lady took a photo with him and then looked at Jake in the picture, suddenly frowning slightly. “Hey? You look familiar! What are your parents’ names? I might know them!”

The plane landed steadily at Northville City International Airport by nightfall. Yes, Jake had come to Northville City. He was here to find that deadbeat dad!

“Contact someone to help them search but don’t alert anyone unnecessarily. If you find the child, take them to the police station so they can contact the parents.”
Cedric nodded. “Understood.”
After speaking, they exchanged looks without saying more because Ulric had followed Rosalind here. Now that Rosalind had left and they knew whose child was missing, what should they do next?
Cedric finally broke the awkward silence. “Mr. Walters, it’s getting late; shall we find a hotel?”
“Alright.”
Ulric nodded and was about to leave the airport with Cedric when his phone rang. He glanced at it; it was Johnny calling. This man rarely had anything important to say, so Ulric didn’t answer and muted his phone.
It wasn’t until they found a hotel and checked in that Ulric picked up his phone again after taking a shower.
