Did he hear what Anna said? Can the ears also be hallucinating? Of course not. He heard her words distinctly. He never heard the beginning, but he heard it midway and it’s enough for him to conclude what the conversation was all about.
At the same time, Anna’s sixth senses perceived that someone might be close by, eavesdropping on her conversation and she turned back abruptly to come face to face with her husband.
She was momentarily rendered speechless. How much did he hear and now knows? Or perhaps he didn’t hear anything, he probably just stepped in. These naughty servants didn’t use their common sense to shut the door after them, otherwise she would have known when he opened the door.

Richard kept his gaze on her. Wasn’t she bellowing and ranting a while ago when the detective asked her the question. He stepped in and heard a few words of her conversation on the phone.
And now, she’d started sobbing and down playing the detective. Looks like his wife had got some acting skills. But now is not the time for that.
He’ll find Luna immediately. He must find out something important. He turned around and went out of the door, without a word to Anna, an act that rendered the latter speechless.
She must ensure that no loophole is left for Luna to trace anything to her. She’s worried that the detective will find out something that would drag her down.

Richard had his chauffeur drive to Luna’s place. He was dressed for an important meeting, but he shoved it aside, told his assistant to pass his message of absenteeism.
Luna was dressed up, going to meet with Rodgers, she’d made some findings when Richard arrived. What the heck! She’s not in the slightest mood for seeing anyone let alone Richard.
“I’m sorry I came so early and impromptu. But it’s important that we talk” Richard requested. The uneasiness was reflected in his words. He appeared tensed up and restless.
“Listen to me, Richard Lester, I don’t tolerate this act of you stalking me and coming over to my apartment. This should be the last time you will step your feet in my place” Luna thundered.
“I’m sorry. But if you don’t want me to come visit you again, I won’t but first, we need to talk. I will be brief, I promise” Richard coaxed.
Luna eyed him and hissed between gritted teeth. Being dressed up, he looked younger, like the Richard Lester she used to know.
Seeing that Luna was not sending him out again, Richard swallowed hard and carefully walked over to stand before her before asking “Were you pregnant back then, did you have my son?”

Adrian went to find Aurora but the latter wouldn’t let him anywhere close to her nor her daughter. It continued for a few days and Adrian was getting really worked up.
He needs to return to New Jersey because of his mother and conglomerate. He also wants to get things straightened out between him and his wife and his daughter.
He’s in a difficult situation. Home was calling, but X-city is necessary and important for him to stay in for a while until he’s got things sorted out.
Clem had been giving him information about the business and he had been having virtual meetings with his top managerial employees.
But a lot was needing his attention. He decided he would see Aurora by all means that weekend and finalise everything. If she chooses not to get reconciled back to him, that’s understandable.
He was mean and senseless in the past and treated her unfairly. She has the right to her freedom. It’s not compulsory for them to be a couple again but he would never sign the divorce paper with her, Never!
He would never use his fingers to sign the end of his marriage with Ava Leon.
He was wrong to desire it in the past but now that he knows the truth about his life with the Leon’s and more importantly, his love for Ava, he wouldn’t do it even if a dagger was placed against his heart.
He has been invited by Simon and Nancy Blake for a banquet that evening. That would be another time to speak with Aurora. He hopes he succeeds in making her accept him back and if not, at least his daughter should know that he is her dad.
The day he decided to go to the Blake’s mansion, he received a call from Aurora’s lawyer that he had a document to sign. His client, Ms Aurora Blake wants them to meet to finalise their union.
Adrian responded that he isn’t going to sign the papers. He should inform his client about it. He already told her before.
The lawyer replied and threatened Adrian that he would accuse him of “Obstruction of Justice” and that word infuriated Adrian, her lawyer now threatens him?
“Are you threatening me?” Adrian asked, a smirk appeared on his lips. It has gotten to the point where he’s now being threatened to sign the divorce paper?
“You can call it so” the lawyer responded and hung up. Adrian was unhappy. He’s not afraid of the threat but it only means, there’s no future for him and her again.
But what about his daughter? Will he turn his back on her as well?
That evening, Adrian got dressed, he would attend the banquet, and hopefully, would leave X-city the next morning.
In New Jersey, Luna’s heart beat almost skipped, it seems like a dagger sliced through it at Richard’s words.
