“I will just go straight to the point; let’s make a deal.” Cassandra said to Alpha Redford as they arrived at the office.
“Umm!” Alpha Redford said and took his seat as he looked at Cassandra.
“I will introduce myself first if that is what you want.” Cassie said she could understand how he was feeling.
At this moment, Grace was not with them; she really did not want to be inside the office with them when they would have made the deal.
“Exactly, but not really.” Alpha Redford said he felt he knew the deal Cassandra was trying to talk about already.
“I am Cassie Ann. I am also a top person in the business world; not to worry, I am a very good friend of Grace.” I guess that is all you have to know about me based on what we have to talk about.
“I really don’t want to know much about you, though. But I have a question, lady.” Alpha Redford said and sipped his coffee; they were in his office.
“Yes, you can go on with your question.” Cassandra said she was losing patience; the anger Nelson had felt earlier was really so small compared to the one he would start feeling.
“The deal we are making, can I get a hint of what it is about at first? And what does it concern?” Alpha Redford said with his steady and husky voice.
“Of course, Grace!” Cassandra said she could smell something fishy in the way he was speaking.
“Then she has to be here so we can talk things out.” Alpha Redford said to Cassandra more depending.
“Please be calm, Mr. You are really so eager already without knowing what we have to talk about and see if you would accept it or not.” Cassandra pointed out.
“Anything it is, so far as it is concerning the lady, then I will take it and do whatever the deal says, whatever you both want.” Alpha Redford said he was really proud of what he was saying, and Cassandra could tell.
Since Alpha Redford really had something for Grace already, it won’t be so hard for them to play along and not get suspected in what they are doing.
Grave swiveled on the office chair; she sat at the front of Alpha Redford’s table in his office.
“What office do you hold if you don’t mind?” Cassandra asked Alpha Redford; she was really impressed at how his office was looking.
She knew this was not just a company that was owned by Alpha Nelson and his family.
“I own a very huge position here; it is really a long story. But the company is joint; it belongs to the Divine’s. There was a mutually beneficial agreement and all of that.” Alpha Redford tried to explain things to her, but with expression on her face, it showed she understood clearly, so he had to stop explaining further.
“I really understand what you are trying to emphasize, because my parents have really had such a business relationship in the country we stay in. This is to say you are so good for the deal we wanted.” Cassandra said and stood up to take her leave in the meantime.
“I will bring you the deal, and you both will both have to sign since it is an agreement. It lasts for just a month.” Cassandra said and smiled at Alpha Redford.
She really couldn’t even understand what the hell is making such a man, who she can guess was very rich and influential, act so calm and nice and have no pride. Was it that he really loved Grace?
“You didn’t bother trying to ask my name, lady.” Alpha Redford said.
“So sorry. Your name, please. I forgot we just met already.” Cassandra said with apologetic eyes and a smile.
“Alpha Redford, the son of one of the well-known Alphas.” Alpha Redford said to her, and once he noticed her facial expression had changed, hold.
“Alpha? Please your father’s name?” Cassandra asked him. He looks like the current Alpha in the country; she stays with her parents before coming back to this particular country they had left years ago.
“Alpha Dmintric! In the southern part of Greenville.” Alpha Redford said to Cassandra, and her eyes widened in surprise.
“What? You don’t mean that, do you?” Cassandra asked, surprised, laced in her tone, and her eyes were looking so confused.
“Yes lady!” Alpha Redford, and it seems he was getting bored with the conversations already.
“If it interests you to know, then that is the country I live in with my parents; I just got back.” Cassandra said, still studying Alpha Redford’s face as though she were looking for something really important.
“But what the hell! How come you don’t know me, lady?” Alpha Redford asked and begged Cassandra to say anything; he replied to himself.
“Ohhh! I am not much of a public figure; I get it now.” Alpha Redford proclaimed.
Of course yes, he is not more of a public figure that people always see on the internet, even with the level he was and how powerful his dad, the great Alpha, was.
“And that was why it took me so long to realize. I know you as Alpha Red.” Cassandra said and waited to see him reply.
“Yes! ” he said, and now he was looking as surprised as she was.
“This is not happening; what the fuck!” Cassandra said, her tone laced with a mixture of surprise, shock, and wonderment.
“Anything lady?” Alpha Redford asked her and went ahead to roll his eyes on her, studying her expression.
“Nooo! It is nothing at all. Nice to meet you.” Cassandra murmured, even if she tried to say these words out.
“Nice to meet you too, lady!” Alpha Redford said while stretching out his hands for a handshake.
Cassandra waved her hand at him, not taking the handshake he had offered.
“Nice to meet you too.” She said and waved her hands partially in the air.
“Do you…” Alpha Redford was trying to make a statement when Cassandra interrupted him and said.
“Ummm, so sorry, I have to go right now. We will talk about the signing of the deal tomorrow, then proceed.” Cassandra said go to him and was leaving away hurriedly already.
“Are you sure you are okay, lady?” Alpha Redford, who had suspected something to be wrong, called out to Cassandra, but she didn’t even dare to give him a last glance until she was out of sight; she didn’t flip her head backwards.
The shock was too much to bear; she had been praying she would meet in one day though, but she had never seen him. Just in magazines and sometimes on television, and he hardly even appears on screen, and this was what had made her not recognize him at first.
The man she had always crushed on really had no idea things would turn out the way they did.
“Damn! He is Alpha Red?” Cassandra was still in shock as she pinched herself to be sure she wasn’t dreaming at all.
“He is in love with Grace? I can tell from his damn acting, like, What the hell, his father is so rich.” Cassandra was saying it in her heart as she walked to Grace’s office.
Grave had personally given her some direction, though.
“Can I let this happen? I have to get another man; it can’t be Red! How the hell am I going to feel seeing them together? Even if it’s really not real.” Cassandra kept on saying it in her heart.
She halted when she realized what was wrong with her. She was really not thinking straight anymore. She had always wanted Red.
“Damn! Am I jealous already?” Casandra asked herself; she couldn’t justify the way she was feeling.
Read and find out what happens next… The feelings are getting more intense than she had ever imagined. Alpha Redford has always been her crush, though.
