Chapter Thirty-Three: Alpha Rolan’s POV

Book:Her Alpha's Rejected Mate Published:2024-11-25

I was worried about Kiara and her ass of a mate, Eric. He has been pulling so many resources in trying to get to Kiara that I was beginning to wonder why since he intentionally did everything that led to her leaving him.
I wanted to see Pandora’s parents, so I flew down to her pack to see them. I had changed the construction of the house and employed some servants to take care of them since Pandora was the only child they had.
“Hello Father, hello Mother” I greeted politely when they opened the door. I already called them beforehand to inform them of my arrival.
“Hello Son, welcome home,” her father said and tapped me gently on my back while her mom enveloped me in a tight hug. I smiled sadly, wishing I had all these as a child.
A family who loved me and wanted me, not one who saw me as either an obstacle or as a means to an end. I intended to inform Pandora’s parents about the pregnancy to which I was sure that they would both be very delighted about.
I entered and exchanged pleasantries with everyone present before settling in the new living room with her parents.
“I hope you like your new home?” I asked politely, genuinely hoping that they liked it, like a child waiting for his parents’ approval after exerting himself in an art piece.
“I love it, Rolan. Thank you. You did not have to. No one believes we are omega’s now because of everything that you have done for us.” Her father said and beamed proudly at me.
“Thank you, Son. We love it.” Her mother squealed delightfully and hugged me again.
I smiled and melted in the hug.
“You can’t take my daughter and my wife away from me, Rolan,” her father teased, and we all laughed.
“How is Pandora? We were quite surprised when you said you would be coming here alone and not with her. Is everything okay?” Her father asked me.
“Oh, yes father. She is. She is just a bit under the weather.” I said and smiled cheekily, the blush rising to my cheeks.
“Under the weather? Is she alright?” Her father asked, the worry evident in his voice.
“Yes, father. She is only with a child, children if I may.” I announced finally, and watched as her mother jumped and danced happily around the father, her father just shook my hands and said a quiet congratulations.
“It is one of the reasons I came here to see you both. She couldn’t travel because of all the morning sickness and other symptoms that she has been feeling” I explained, trying to keep the embarrassment I felt at bay.
“That is good news Rolan. I am happy that is the report I am hearing from you both. You said that was one of the reasons you came, what is the other reason?” Her father asked, and I smiled. He was a quiet and observant man and I had secretly come to admire the principles on which he runs his life.
“We wanted to appeal to you both to move to the white moon pack.” I said and took a deep breath.
Pandora had said that it would be difficult to convince them. I had prayed to the moon goddess to make it easy for me but judging from the look of disapproval on both their faces, I figured my prayer was definitely not answered.
“Why? Are we not perfectly okay here?” Her mother said as she sat down beside Mr. Miller on the couch.
“Pandora is carrying Triplets, and she is very traditional, so she doesn’t want nannies to raise the kids. She asked me to come and plead with you both to come around. Everything you would need will be made available and readily at your disposal. Pandora and I cannot handle three little babies on our own, and we really require your help. I am all alone in my pack and Pandora is the only family I have there. The rest of them are just my subjects.” I finished and even though I had tried to take my mind off it, I prayed again that they should be convinced.
“Triplets?” Her father asked.
“Yes. She is pregnant with Triplets. All mine” I beamed proudly and unashamedly.
“That’s a scorer, boy! I am proud of you” her father exclaimed suddenly and shook my hands warmly.
“We will move to the white moon pack. Anything for our baby girl. Right Wifey” he said and carried his wife gently.
She squealed and begged for him to drop her and I wished in my heart that someday, Pandora and I would grow old as beautifully as her parents have done.
“Oh, that’s a great baby. I do not mind. We can take it as a little vacation to help our girl raise her children. It’s not like we will be missed much here” her mother exclaimed sadly, and it felt like a knife was used to stab my heart.
I imagined how bad it must have been for Pandora to grow up here as an omega. I vowed that he would destroy that classism and help Pandora feel better than she ever did stay here.
“Alright then. I will give you a few months before we move you both. Pandora suggested a ship cruise around the world, you both would be arriving just before the babies are born. Is that fine with you?” I asked politely and watched as they smiled at each other.
“We don’t mind. I honestly could do with some alone time with my husband and shaking my ass on a ship.” her mother smiled and hugged her husband’s neck gently before planting a kiss on his lips.
“Alright then. When do we leave?” Her father asked, his face full of smiles and gratitude.
I wished my parents had lived long enough for me to take care of them, although they had quite all the experience that I could possibly ever think of, but it just felt nice.
“Right now!” I said smiling and watching as their faces lit up with joy.
