I have been feeling faint and weak for about two weeks now. It’s officially my first month of staying here, and I have never felt so happy and loved by so many people in my life.
Rolan has been worshiping me day in and day out that I almost slapped myself for ever having a crush on that uncouth man called Derrick.
I hissed and felt a wave of nausea hit me. I ran to the bathroom to throw up, barely making it just in time. I didn’t hear Rolan come in until he helped hold my hair behind my ears to avoid getting vomit in it.
“Hey hey, are you okay?” He asked me with much concern.
“I am…” I tried to talk and vomited some more.
After some minutes of throwing up everything in my stomach except my organs. I sighed tiredly and rinsed my face.
“Are you okay babe?” Rolan asked me again, this time guiding me gently out of the bathroom.
“I’m fine, babe. I probably just had a bad dinner. It’s just the first time I’m throwing up. It is no big deal. I am sure that by the time I relax a bit and sleep, I’ll wake up fine.” I assured him.
“Have breakfast with me?” Rolan asked and held my waist, pressing it tightly to his legs. He slipped a hand in between mine and began rubbing my sensitive flesh.
I was about to let go and let him carry me off to bed when we heard a knock on our door.
“Who’s that?” Rolan bellowed, upset that his little tango with me was interrupted.
“Alpha Rolan, there’s an emergency downtown. A fire outbreak. We are trying to curtail it, but the people are panicking, and it has become harder to control the fire from spreading.” Griffin reported.
Rolan growled and buried his face in my neck for a few seconds drawing in a deep breath.
“I’ll be with you soon, babe. Please be fine and if you don’t feel better, do not hesitate to call me.” He said and kissed me deeply on the lips, he seemed to have wanted to eat me because I had to push him off me after five minutes of keeping Griffin waiting.
“Babe, go. It’s an emergency.” I urged and pushed him out of the room playfully.
He pretended to be hurt and just before he left the room, he smacked my ass in front of Griffin.
I saw Griffin avert his eyes quickly, hiding a smile. I slammed the door in their faces in embarrassment and then picked up my phone to call Kiara and saw my period tracker app notification pop up.
YOUR PERIOD IS FIVE DAYS LATE.
The notification jolted my brain and I suddenly remembered that I hadn’t seen my period in quite a while.
I rushed to the bathroom to take my bath and threw on some of Rolan’s clothes. I drove to the hospital and requested to see Rolan’s family doctor.
“Dr. Ross is on the seat. I will inform him of your arrival” a kind nurse addressed me and took me to the VIP waiting room for dignitaries.
“Thank you,” I muttered and followed her quietly. I felt awkward and improper as I wasn’t used to getting the best that such places have to offer.
The nurse disappeared after directing me to a seat and returned shortly after with a very handsome man, around the same age as Rolan.
“Good morning Luna.” He greeted me courteously and smiled.
“Good morning Dr. Ross. I came in to see you” I greeted him and stood up to take the hand he was offering.
“Rolan was right, he always claimed that he would get the best woman among us and he did. You are very pretty Luna. Please come with me to my office.” He complimented me and led me into his office, a cozy room that was freezing slightly.
The strong smell of the bleach used to clean the office irritated me, and he quickly offered me a paper bag to throw up in.
I heaved for a few minutes before he gave me a bottle of chill water to drink.
“Take this.” He offered me the water and I took it.
“Thank you,” I said after taking a giant swallow.
He picked up the landline in front of him and punched in a few numbers.
“I need you to come and take a sample for some tests.” He informed the person at the other end of the line.
Shortly after the door opened, and the nurse took some of my blood.
“Is everything okay with me? I haven’t even said anything, and you have already ordered tests to be done.” I asked him.
He laughed gently.
“I am a doctor. I already have an idea. I’m almost sure that I am not wrong, but I want to have it on paper.” He replied gently.
“It’s a pleasure to meet you, Luna…”
“Please just call me Pandora. You do not call Rolan, Alpha, or do you?” I asked, smiling calmly at him.
“Rolan and I are childhood friends. He is more of my friend than an Alpha.” He replied.
We busted into a fit of laughter. The test results came in a few minutes later.
“Is everything okay?” I asked him.
“Oh yes. You are pregnant. One month. Congratulations Luna…… I mean Pandora.” He said, smiling at me.
I clutched at my stomach and smiled. I could not believe I was pregnant. I wanted to immediately go home and tell Rolan about it. The happiness I felt was threatening to burst from my chest.
“That’s not all Pandora. I’ll need to do a quick abdominal scan.” He said and opened his examination room.
I laid down on the examination table, and he put a gel-like substance on my stomach.
“This is a little cold, I’m sorry. It won’t hurt though.” He placed a round machine on my stomach and pressed down gently.
“Well, that fetus one, oh fetus two, and finally that fetus three. Congratulations Pandora, you are pregnant with Triplets”
