Andre’s POV
After seeing what Olivia could do, Sephora and Gregory joined my team, leaving Pierre and Doran with no choice.
For one, I was certain that they wouldn’t be expecting us yet. This was our best advantage.
“You must stay by my side at all times,” I reminded Olivia as we alighted from the car.
Her recovery was complete, and I knew she wasn’t helpless, but I couldn’t help but worry.
She was my little princess, after all.
“Alpha, the five teams have surrounded the entire place,” Gregory reported with a low bow.
I nodded and then glanced at my watch.
“I’m sure the camouflage members would have gotten to the underground by now; let’s head out, too.”
I wrapped my arms around Olivia as the team of twelve behind us followed us while I led the way.
The doors were kicked open, and a smug smile crossed my lips as I saw that most of the Reiss family were present in the room.
Jonas stood up, his chair scraping loudly against the floor and took a step forward.
“I’ve had enough of your smugness, Andre. We need Olivia. She is important to us, so the only way you’re going to leave Elvis Pine alive in one piece is if you break your mate’s bond with her and give her to us. You might love her, but is she really worth your life?”
My smirk disappeared, and Olivia held me tighter, looking at Jonas in fear.
“Jonas, how could…”
“Don’t Jonas me, you bitch. I’m sick of pretending. Why are you even with him? You could be with me, and I’d give you everything you want. The both of us together could reestablish the Solvan Empire and bring all of Elvis Pine under our rule again but instead, you choose a lowly life with him!”
I felt Olivia get agitated. She released her grip on me slightly and faced Jonas with angry tears in her eyes.
“The Solvan Empire fell because of you! You killed my people and all for what?! Just because they wouldn’t give me to you as a wife?! You know what, I’m happy that my parents took me away from such a terrible person like you because I am certain that I would never be happy. I’m happy that I found Andre, and you deserve to die alone.”
Olivia’s words enraged Jonas, and his face flushed as red as a tomato.
“Stupid girl! What does he have that I don’t? Riches? A mansion? Cars?…”
“Kindness and care! He has those, and you have none of them. I was a fool to trust you before. All I see in you is greed. My parents saw right through you and took the initiative to keep me safe from you, and it cost them their lives. I’d rather die than raise the Solvan Empire with you as my partner!”
Jonas shook with rage and turned to face me.
“This is all your fault, Andre! How dare you meddle in my plans! I have thousands of men injured all because of you! There are thousands of women, and you can pick any of them to be your mate, but Olivia isn’t yours. She was promised to me, and I am simply making sure that that promise is fulfilled. Now, I’ll make this easy for you…”
He took a deep breath while I waited for his familiar threat, “Relinquish her, and you can walk away from here alive. Don’t make this harder on yourself.”
I pulled Olivia close to me and planted a steaming kiss on her lips. I groaned loud enough for everyone to hear and I could hear Jonas glitch in anger.
When I pulled away, Olivia was blushing red and Jonas was nearly mad with anger.
“Olivia is mine. Make me.”
He couldn’t control himself anymore and rushed towards me with his balled fist.
Before he could land a punch on me, I grabbed him by the neck and gave him an uppercut, sending him into the air flying, and he fell on top of his sister Lilian, groaning in pain.
I stood up to my full height and readjusted my suit.
“I would happily go again. In fact, I’ve changed my mind. How about we settle this right here and right now? Your family is watching, so I suggest that you give it your best shot.”
He got off his sister and pushed her away angrily. He turned to me, and he was bleeding from his nose, and his lip was busted.
“You bastard! You have been feeding off her power, haven’t you?!”
I cracked my fingers and balled my fist again.
“Stop trying to pin this on Olivia. I would still beat you even without her. Just accept it. You are an incapable fool. All you want is Olivia for her powers. You do not love her, and I will make sure that you never get her. She’s mine, and there’s absolutely nothing you or your bastard family can do about it!”
Jonas tried to charge at me again, but his brothers held him back.
“If you come at me again, I would happily kick your ass over and over again and leave your family shaking their heads in shame. You are not up to me, Jonas, and you never be, so let me make this easier for you. You let us go back home, and I’ll be sure not to wipe out you and your family for all the evil they have done.”
“Never! You are not leaving here with Olivia! She is mine!”
I chuckled and readjusted my cufflinks.
“You seem to think that you can stop us?”
Donovan looked at me in shock, and the prideful look on his face disappeared in mere seconds.
“Donovan, did you really think that we would come here without any preparation?”
Jonas broke free of his brother’s grasp and hurtled towards me. We began another fistfight, and he was able to land a blow on me, but I beat him to a pulp and left him bloodied on the ground.
I looked at my suit and saw that he used his claws to rip a hole in the fabric and my flesh.
I immediately began to heal slowly, but the sight of my blood made Olivia’s brow scrunch up.
“Leave with Sephora; the battle outside is getting fierce.”
The people outside had more numbers, but all the important members of the Pierre Royal Pack were right here. I couldn’t risk anything.
Sephora looked at Olivia, and after some seconds, they left the dining hall.
With Olivia gone, I felt better and more in charge.
“None of you would leave here alive,” I informed them calmly.
Perhaps it was the way I said it. I could feel the fear in the room.
Jonas stepped forward, his eyes glaring at me with hatred and anger.
This was the real him. The demon he had hidden so perfectly from my kitten.
“I promise you, you’re going to pay for everything that you’ve done, Andre,” Jonas threatened in a large roar as he dashed out of the room. “Mark my words. You will not leave this pack alive…”
“Two of you, go after him. The rest, make sure to leave none.”
