Olivia’s POV
“It’s a kick, punch, elbow, punch, sweep. Try it again.”
I watched as Sephora tried to explain how to do the fight combination sequence. Her kicks and punches were so precise and powerful that I felt intimidated all over again.
Sephora shook her head in disappointment.
“Again!”
I ran the sequence all over again, but I kept tripping up. Sephora seemed very displeased, and she walked away. My cheeks burned hot in anger. I was so happy that I was going to do my combat training today, but I seemed so out of touch with myself.
Grayson walked up to me.
“Maybe you should try the transformation instead.”
I nodded and shifted into my wolf form. Grayson recorded the time it took me to transform, which was seven seconds, two seconds longer than usual.
I shifted back, and I was so angry with myself. What was wrong with me? I had been doing so well, but now today was just a slip-up.
I shifted back into my wolf and Sephora helped me put my clothes back on while Grayson had his back turned to me.
As I was dressing, the door opened with a light creek. I pulled my shirt down quickly and turned to see Andre standing at the door. I wasn’t surprised as soon as I saw his eyes wash over the entire room. He scowled that Grayson was still in the room but quickly relaxed when he saw that he had his back turned and that he wasn’t looking at me.
He glanced back at me and gave me a light smile.
“Are you done with your training?”
I nodded, and he turned to Sephora and Grayson.
“I believe training for the future Luna has been good so far, and I would like to see the progress report.”
I was more than happy to oblige, and I showed Andre what I had learned so far, though I excluded the fighting sequence for today, which I had failed so woefully.
As I ran through the courses and showed him how fast I could shift into my wolf, I saw approval across his face. It made me feel much better despite how badly I messed up today.
I finished up and stood before Andre, waiting for him to give his final assessment and remarks. He had a wide grin on his face and looked at Sephora and Grayson appreciatively.
“Both of you have done very well in preparing the future Luna for her position and I think that at this rate, she’s going to be a wonderful Luna and leader to the pack.”
Sephora and Grayson bowed respectfully while I stood there smiling like a Cheshire cat. I was so happy.
My trainers left, and I was alone with Andre in the training room.
“I made a stop at the medical institute, and I think I have a temporary solution to our little problem.”
He reached into his pockets and pulled out a little container with pills inside.
“I was given this. I was told to make sure that you take one every day. It should help with your ravenous sexual appetite. However, this is only a hypothesis in the test. In case this doesn’t work, the medical institute has given me a second option to try.”
I took the container from him and looked at the pink pills that rattled inside it.
I wasn’t sure what was making me feel so ravenous and horny, but I wanted my body back, and I wanted to gain control of my sexual urges, so I was willing to try whatever it took.
“How many of these pills do I need to take every day?”
“Just one,” answered Andre. “I explained your symptoms to them, so they made the drugs quite strong so that they can counteract it effectively.”
I took a deep breath and stuffed the pills into my bag. I was going to take it as soon as I went to our room.
I turned to look at Andre, and he still had a wide smile on his face. I couldn’t help but chuckle and blush slightly as I saw him.
“What are you laughing at?” I asked shyly, using my hands to cover my face.
He held my hands, took them off my face, and stood there, apparently enjoying watching me giggle.
“I have something special planned for the both of us.”
My eyes opened wide, and excitement rushed through my body. I’ve been training so hard all week, and I honestly could use a little rest and relaxation.
“Really? What is it? Tell me, pleeeassssseeeee…”
He chuckled at my childlike plea and pulled me close to him for a hug.
“Well, I know you have been working hard for the past week, so I planned a date for us.”
I was silent at first, but soon, I erupted into cheers. This was the first official date that Andre and I had gone out on since we became an official couple.
He pulled me close and kissed my forehead, calming me down.
I stared deep into his green eyes and felt his love brand itself in my soul. Why did he always have to be so romantic?
“I got a dress that I think you’d like to wear for this occasion. I left it on our bed.”
Before I could say anything, he picked me up bridal style and walked out of the training room.
I giggled and struggled playfully in his grasp.
“Andre, what are you doing? Put me down.”
He attacked me with a kiss, and I fell silent instantly.
“I am taking my woman to our room to help her get dressed for our little date.”
His voice was deep, husky and seductive, and I felt a pleasant shiver run down my spine. I never thought that I would look forward to dressing this much. That was just how things were with Andre.
