Luna Lorienta’s hands trembled as she stared at her mother, whose head had hit the ground with blood pouring down from both sides, and her face fell as soon as she realized what had happened.
“I apologize, Lorienta, but I’m… Aurora felt her life slipping away from her, and her strength began to fail her. She choked, her head spinning with numbness, and her eyes getting so watery and blurry that she could hardly keep them open for a few seconds.
She weakly strained her hands to her daughter, who was looking at her with horror as a glint of regret flickered through her eyes.
“I am….” Luna Lorienta screamed as she crawled over to her mother and lifted her head, pleading with her to hold on.
As her mother passed away in her arms, her eyes widened in horror.
“No! No! No! I apologize for letting my anger get the better of me and smashing the vase on your head, but please take a look at me. You can not do this, Mother. You have my forgiveness for everything you have done, and I know why you did it. Please come back to me!” She wept and violently shook her mother’s now-heavy body.
She did not care that her blood had soiled her hands, her already-tangled hair, or her clothes. She was shocked to learn that she had just killed her mother, the only person who ever stood by her side in anything she did. She even defended her in front of the Elders while she was being crucified for killing Beta Fae and having sex with her ex-mate.
She failed to control her emotions and allowed her anger to get the best of her, and she became a murderer once more. What will her faith be? Alpha Carlos is on the sick bed, and no one knows when he will regain consciousness. The Elders have all turned against her, Daisy is another hater on her own, and her only supporter has died.
Her head banged in horror, and her breathing became shallow, slow, and ragged, each breath reminding her of the pain and betrayal she had just committed. Her emotions were jumbled, from suicidal thoughts to the blame she placed on herself.
“I have to die; yes, I deserve death. I am a stupid fool, which is unfortunate.” She yelled and grabbed her hair, pulling it firmly; the pain was nothing compared to the piercing in her heart. She needed to get away from her mother, so she crawled to the window, pulled it up, and looked down.
The fresh air from outside slapped against her skin, sending chills down her spine; it was supposed to be relaxing if she was in the right frame of mind, but all she could think about was climbing out of this window and jumping, dying, and escaping the emotional turmoil and pain she was experiencing.
“Are you going to die just like that?” She heard a voice, and her mind skipped a beat as she looked back, looking for the person who spoke.
” The deed has been done. The only way you could get your mother to forgive you now is to wield the power of this pack, making her proud while making everyone else suffer… She was preparing a flawless future for you while destroying hers. She wanted you to be the one, the one everyone would bow before.” The voice said,
Luna Lorienta’s face fell, and her mind began to settle as the statement continued to ring in her head, “The only solution now is to make her proud, become whatever she wishes, and be the holder of power.” She said it repeatedly, and it was as if a word of affirmation and encouragement restored her determination, zeal, and will to be the one.
Her gaze darkened like her heart; she took a step away from the window and looked down at her mother’s body. A new beginning had begun, so she averted her gaze from her mother’s lifeless body and walked to the bathroom.
With a new, not new, but renewed goal, she carefully peeled her soiled clothes off until she was completely naked. She stepped into the bathtub and twisted the shower handle, allowing the warm water to drum against her back as she sat in, settling into her thoughts.
She turned her head to see an orange-scented shampoo, grabbed it, flipped the cover open, poured a handful into her arched palm, smeared it on her hair, washed it thoroughly, and began a new phase of her already damned life.
After carefully washing her hair, she began untangling each strand until it was completely loosened. She then arched her back, now on all fours, pressed the draining button, and leaped beneath the shower to wash off the shampoo, dirt, and blood.
Seeing that the water now streaming down from her hair was not colorless, she moved back a little to allow the water to enter the bathtub before sitting back in it. She threw her head backward and enjoyed the bath while thinking about her starting plans.

” Release him,” Daisy muttered, walking down the hallway leading to the dungeon where the Gardener was held. The guards exchanged glances before shaking their heads in refusal.
Daisy glared at them, puzzled and embarrassed. She swallowed hard and yelled again, “I fucking said you should release him. Are you all deaf?” She inquired,
“We are so sorry. The Luna’s mother instructed us not to release him until it was time for him to be beheaded.” One of them spoke, trembling.
“Really? Luna’s mother now wields more power than Alpha’s sister, which is surprising. If I count up to three and the gates are not open, I will behead you and move to your families,” she threatened.
The guards’ eyes widened in surprise as they all dashed towards the gate. One of them shoved his hands into his pocket to retrieve the keys, but he found none. His brow furrowed as he tried to recall where the key might be.
“Damn!!!” He yelled and turned to face Daisy.
“The keys are with Luna’s mother,” he explained, his voice barely audible.
Daisy spat and stormed into the room, her hands fondling the doorknob and about to twist it when a strange feeling filled her up, followed by a strong smell of blood in her nose.
“What the hell’s going on in there?” She paused for a moment before opening the door to the room, which had been meticulously cleaned.
“That is weird.” She muttered and entered the room, only to find Luna Lorienta naked, her fingers on her clit and her legs spread across the bed.
“You are disgusting and shameless.” She yelled and shifted her gaze away from Luna Lorienta.
“Where is your mother?” Luna Lorienta responded to her question with a moan.
Daisy yelled, “Gosh, You are so stupid,” and turned her head to see the keys lying on the floor. She walked towards it and picked it up. She approached the door but paused to take one last look at Luna Lorienta before exiting.
“She returned to where she came from,” she heard Luna Lorienta yell behind her.
“Slut” She twitched her lips in disgust as she returned to the dungeon.
