“What are you talking about, Mom?” Luna Lorienta moved towards the bed, giving her mother a sideways glance.
“Well, I have some plans under my sleeve; I will reveal them when the time comes, but for now, just focus on the… ” A loud bang on the floor interrupted her statement, and Daisy, her chest heaving rapidly, rushed in, looking enraged.
“What audacity!” Aurora scoffed, her gaze fixed on the angry bird standing in front of her with a killer look.
“Why are you in this place?” With her soul aching for answers, Luna Lorienta sprang up.
Daisy’s eyes darkened as she bowed her head and let out a laugh. She then let out another, louder laugh and lifted her head.
” You are so shameless, My brother, Alpha Carlos, is battling with his life on the sick bay after fighting for the stand and power of this kingdom, and the next thing you could do was send your fuck mate to be locked up in that cold dungeon. I wonder how that foolish brother of mine got married to… ” She gasped as a sharp sting on her cheeks caused her words and voice to become stuck in her throat. Her hands shot to her cheeks, and when she looked up, she saw Luna Lorienta’s defiant gaze.
“Who do you think you are to barge into my mother’s room and say such things about me?” Luna Lorienta yelled, her eyes filled with rage, “A stupid grown-ass woman who can not make a decision for herself or hold a place in her pack as a born royalty.”
Daisy gave her deadly glares and warned, “Do not you dare insult me.”
“And what if I do? You are just a whiny baby who will eventually be used as a concubine as part of a settlement agreement.” “You are foolish,” Luna Lorienta said, clenching her jaw.
Daisy glared at Luna Lorienta, unable to think of a way to respond, her eyes widening as she gnashed her teeth against one another, anguish pulsing through her veins.
“I am not a loser, nor am I the foolish bitch whose mother falsely claimed to be a mate to a married man. Of course, you are correct, and your remarks are spot on. At least I am not a fucking loser who gathered her sister’s mate, lied against her, and got her exiled.
I am not the bad girl who was born out of wedlock and thrust onto someone else’s head; I am not the fucker who killed her foster father and claimed that it was because he wanted to betray the pack; and I am not the fucker who continues to fuck her ex-partner even though she is the Luna.”
“I am not the daughter of a liar who killed the father of her child after he was denied the position of chief warrior.” Daisy ranted, unconcerned about the secrets she revealed.
Aurora and Luna Lorienta’s pupils dilated in surprise and confusion at how much she knew.
“Where did you hear that?” “I was supposed to get mated with Carlos from the beginning; I am not a bastard; I belong to Beta Victor Fae’s family.” Luna Lorienta yelled, her face drained of blood, her pale lips trembling.
“Have you ever wondered how you ended up being older than Mavana? Your mother lied that Beta Fae had sexual intercourse with her years ago, before she married Mavana’s mother, and then threatened to commit suicide, blaming Mavana’s mother. Your mother is a bitch, a liar, and a home wrecker.”
“She could not even tell her beautiful daughter the truth, Fuck!! ” Daisy mocked, satisfied with her sense of victory.
“Is it true, Mom?” Luna Lorienta asked, her legs trembling as weakness overtook her.
“No, it is not. She is lying. Her entire effort is to destroy our cordial relationship; she is a loser,” Aurora said, her hands shaking and a sense of exposure washing over her.
“She is still lying to you, cordial relationship indeed.” Daisy grins,
Aurora’s vein popped up on her head, her temples wet with sweat. Fury and anguish rushed through her whole body. She snapped her head towards Daisy and glared at her with a deadly stare.
“Stop looking at me like that; I am not the source of your problem. This is only the tip of the iceberg; if my brother dies as a result of your futile mission and dream of wielding the power of this pack, I will personally demand your head.” Daisy threatened, her facial expressions hardening as she turned to leave.
She came to a halt and looked back, a smirk curling up on her lips, “You better instruct your guards to release your daughter’s fuck mate, I am sure she would have missed his big cock slamming into her wet, warm hole.” She then stepped out of the room.
Tension filled the room as Aurora turned to her daughter, who was trembling and struggling with her thoughts; her legs gave out as she collapsed to the floor, boiling and betrayed.
” Lorienta, I am so sorry; I know you will not forgive me, but she is a liar trying… ”
“Mom,” Luna Lorienta yelled, her lips and hands quivering as tears welled up in her eyes and flowed uncontrollably.
“I thought we were so close, we could tell each other anything.” She let out a sniff.
“You never told me that Beta Fae was not my biological father. You did not tell me that I am the illegitimate child, the child who grew up to despise her foster father.” She lamented, unaware of why she was angry; she sometimes wished Mavana was not her blood sister; her wish had always been a reality.
“You threatened him, but he still accepted me and never treated me like a bastard whose mother threatened him. What did I repay him with? Death! ” She choked back a sad laugh.
“I killed him with my own hands and lied against him because you told me he tried to give Mavana all of his inheritance, and you lied to me about him beating you all the time.”
“You made me a murderer who murdered her helper, You instilled hatred and disgust in me from childhood, You made me despise the girl whose father played a fatherly role in my life, You…” Luna Lorienta cried, holding her head tightly, frustrated and regretful.
“What exactly are you saying?”
“All of this is untrue; he is your biological father, he never loved you, and he betrayed me by abandoning me when he discovered that I was having an affair with the warrior’s son. Instead, he ought to have waited and shown me forgiveness.” Aurora screamed, feeling the full force of her hatred. She approached Luna Lorienta slowly, lowered herself to her level, and put her hands on her shoulder.
Aurora shook Luna Lorienta out of her pathetic state and yelled, “You should forget all this, and trust me, I am your mother. Stop being delusional and support your mother.”
Luna Lorienta’s face twitched in disgust, and she snatched up the flower vase next to her and smashed it on Aurora’s head without thinking twice.
