“Mum….” He began. I know you always wanted me to find true love and I said I’d never find one.” He dips his head and chuckles. I thought I wasn’t capable of such feelings mum but I was wrong.” I tuck in my lips trying to supress the tears that stung my eyes from flowing.
“I found someone mum….” He said looking at me with so much passion in his eyes.”… Or should I say, the universe brought someone to me and now I can’t breath the thought of living without her.” He continued, speaking the lines to me. I nodded encouraging him to go ahead. He returned his gaze back to his mum and continued. “She’s my step-sister mum and it might not be a conventional relationship but I love Thea more than I can speak of….” He pauses for a moment as his breath gets heavy. “She’s my life mum and I hope that someday you’ll wake up and give us your blessings.” He let out a sigh and tears up without restrain. I begin to tear up as well and rub my hands over his shoulder. “I love you so much mum and I miss you terribly.” He said and soon falls into my arms crying out to his heart’s content.

After Angel had calmed down, it was my turn to speak to her.
“Mum, I hope you don’t mind me calling you that.” I said and Angel stroked my hair, his eyes assuring me that I could use that term. I nodded beaming s smile at him then continued. “It’s me Thea and I’m right here with Angel. He has told me all about you.”
“You’re such a great woman. A really strong one at that but you’re so blessed to have given birth to such amazing children.” I said, I was so full of gratitude for the the way Angel and cassandra had turned out. I knew she would be happy knowing they were happy. “Cassie is the sister I never had and Angel he’s just …. everything. He’s everything to me mum and I love him so much. I can’t imagine doing life without him. He’s my world….” I paused almost getting lost for words.
“I can’t describe to you just how much he means to me. He’s the best thing that ever happened to me mum.
I hope I get to speak with you someday, smile to stories you’d tell and laugh to jokes you’d crack. I want to enjoy your motherly affection and I want to be able to love you as if you were my own.” I took a pause to catch my breath and hold back my tears.
“I’m so nervous to find out if you’d like me or not.” I say and laugh nervously. Knowing I was the daughter of the woman Scott fell in love with wouldn’t be of any good to me.
“She’ll totally adore you my love.” Angel says and I smile with tears streaming down my eyes. He kisses my forehead and mutters the words “I love you.” which touched me to the depths of my heart. I return my gaze back to his mum and smile widely at her.
“Angel and I will come here often to see you. Please be strong for us.” I said concluding my heartful speech to her.
After spending time with Angel’s mum, we returned back to the mansion and Camila was on my mind as well on our way back. Angel’s mum couldn’t leave my mind but I was also worried about my best friend.
Once we got home, we saw Knight and cassandra first. They must have returned home after hearing the news.
“You’ve been home for long?” Angel asked once we got close to them.
“No, we arrived not too long ago.” Knight said. I guess they were just finding out about Camila now.
“What about Camila, have you seen her?” I asked and they both nodded.
“Yes, we heard about what happened. You should see her. She’s back in her room with Caspian.” Cassandra said. I was already eager to know what the outcome was. We all go to Camila’s room together.
“Thea…..” Camila calls the moment she I enter the room. She looked really happy to see me. She had no idea how happy I was to see her looking better. I hurry towards her and hug her dearly.
“Cami…. Sweetheart.” I call, pulling away from the hug and touching her face. I pull her back in for another hug, holding her more firmly.
“Ouch….” Camila whispers her discomfort due to how tight I was hugging her.
“I’m so sorry. Are you okay?” I said pulling away again. Camila responded with a pretty smile. Her smile does look suspicious which makes me look at Caspian who was beaming the same smile.
“You were right Thea.” My heart leaps at his suggestive words and I look back at Angel who seemed curious before returning my gaze to Caspian.
“What do you mean?” I asked to be sure of what he was insinuating.
“Right about what?” Angel asked moving a step forward.
I look at Camila who was now holding my hand and still beaming a wide smile at me. She places my hand on her belly and I gasp covering my mouth. I felt tears from excitement well up my eyes. I looked at Camila in shock and she nods then her lips part to speak.
“Angel…. Thea. I’m pregnant.”
