Chapter 95
POV: King Hades Pierce
His mind was in chaos. He knew that when it came to Tamara, he was certainly affected. He was walking back and forth in the Throne Room since Tamika had told him to stay out of their room so she could tend Tamara.
Shanaia had become their guard, and she was watching the front door.
He was about to go back when Raven entered the room. He had bullets of sweat on his forehead and was breathing heavily with a worried expression pasted on his face.
His forehead instantly creased.
“C-Can’t you feel that?” He asked full of unadulterated concern in his tone of voice.
“Feel what?” He asked, bewildered.
Because of too much worrying for Tamara he was certainly out of focus.
But then, he suddenly felt an intensifying aura slowly creeping in near the palace. It was coming from the South Side.
Although there was the tranquility amidst the place, he would certainly feel the eeriness it had with it.
“They’re here. Prepare everyone.” He commanded with his voice full of resolve.
He wanted to end this once and for all.
Hades gritted his teeth as he went to their room. He needed to face the enemies and protect the ones he loved.

POV: Tamika Aibek
Everything was in chaos.
The fire was burning the place rapidly. She could feel a bullet of sweat forming in her forehead. The pain that was creeping into her heart was too much for her to bear.
Her breathing became heavy, as her jet-black hair turned white, with some of its strands turning gold. Her eyes turned all bright white gone were the deep purple ones she used to have.
She could taste the vengeance, the pain, the mourning that they felt.
“It was so d-dark… stop g-going there! N-No! I can’t b-breath!”
Tamika groaned as she coughed up blood.
Foreseeing the future wasn’t a gift that she could control, and now, it was all so overpowering that she couldn’t take it all.
Her body, mind, and soul were too exhausted given that she still needed to tend to Tamara using herself, her aura, and power to heal.
“Oh my God!” Shanaia immediately tended to her as she ran towards where she was kneeling.
Her hair turned back to its original color and so did her eyes. She was half-awake, but she could sense the King’s presence around her.
“Y-You need to g-go out…” She weakly whispered.
But Shanaia just grunted.
“Enough, Tamika! You are making your situation worse! You had already done enough for her. You must rest!” Shanaia’s furious voice was the last thing that she heard before she left consciousness.

POV: Shanaia
She was so worried. How could Tamika almost give her life because of Tamara?
However, she couldn’t blame anyone for that. Her gift was becoming too much for her to bear that she had been this drained.
Good thing that she went inside to stop her from foreseeing things that would eventually happen.
“She must stay here with Tamara. I will guard them. For now, you have to prepare.” Her voice was cold and firm as she looked at the two women sleeping soundly on the huge bed.
King Hades gave her a questioning look.
“I can feel them. In one or two hours, they will start attacking. But you must prepare before that happens. They might be using an elixir to hide their scent, but the thirst of agony and revenge was dripping with their aura. And that, they can’t certainly hide it.” She answered the King’s unspoken words.
King Hades let out a deep sigh.
“Will you be okay here?” He worriedly asked for the nth time as he stared at Tamara lovingly.
“I can’t give you a hundred percent assurance that you want, but I will do my best. Make sure that no one escapes from the border.” She seriously replied.
King Hades pursed his lips together as he nodded his head in agreement before he planted a swift kiss on Tamara’s forehead which was now getting better.
“Delegate everyone around. Make sure not to close every secret passage around the palace.” She reminded him.
He simply gave her a meaningful look as she turned away as if he had caught her doing something wrong.
King Hades let out another deep sigh, but he never commented about it which was a good thing for her. She didn’t want to hear any of his commentary or opinions for now not now.
Because they should be facing a bigger problem with their enemies.
She was hoping that she could do her best to protect the two women who were too close to her heart.

POV: Lamina Darkwood
The war had just started as she saw their alliances attack the palace. The burning flames around the palace were just too lovely to watch. They were like dancing in front of her eyes giving her comfort because of the coldness that was embracing her heart and soul.
This was the very same situation that she had seen a few years ago when her parents died.
And now, she was facing it once again this time, after her children died.
She had made the attack as silent as possible, but she knew that it would be impossible for the Royal Bloods to detect their attack.
A small but ruthless smile crept into her lips.
“Milady, the rogues are ready.” Someone had informed her, and her cruel smile widened.
But too bad, because she hadn’t sent the full force attack yet.
“Let us begin the next attack.” She coldly commanded as her subordinate swiftly bowed and followed her command.
Cessair was the leader of the first attack that they sent. For that, it would create chaos as well as a decoy. They would surprise them with another attack.
This time, it would be bigger and stronger than the first one.
She gritted her teeth as she approached a massive tree with massive roots that made it look monstrous or something.
Lamina smirked as it reminded her of something. She couldn’t believe that she could use this tree now. She shifted into her wolf form as she dug into some of the roots of the tree enough for her to get through, where a secret passage was.
She would make sure to take revenge this night.
She would make sure to give her children Tamara’s head in front of their tombs.

POV: Queen Tamara Pierce
She woke up with her stomach churning like she wanted to vomit. She got up quickly ignoring the dizziness in her head as she went to the bathroom and began vomiting – though nothing came out.
“Are you okay?” Shanaia’s worried voice had reached her ears.
She washed her mouth with water as she gave Shanaia a weak smile.
“Let me help you.” Shanaia told her and held her arm to support her.
“Are you getting better now? How are you feeling?” She worriedly inquired.
She just leaned against the headboard as she nodded her head.
“I am getting better.” She lowly replied as she took a swift curious glance at Tamika who was sleeping soundly beside her.
“She was trying to tend you sending some of her aura to make you better.” Shanaia responded to her unspoken question in mind.
Tamara nodded her head.
“I believe my debts are getting piled up now.” She weakly joked, but Shanaia didn’t smile at all.
Her forehead creased as she started to feel something hear something.
The loud growling continued and so did the loud banging sound mixing with the sound waves that her sensitive ears were hearing.
“The war had started.” Shanaia just simply stated making her flinch a bit.
“And you must not be stubborn. You need to stay here to make your baby safe.” She strictly continued.
Her heart began to thump fast because whatever she might think right now wasn’t enough, for she knew Shanaia was right. She should protect their child.
Besides, she didn’t have that strength yet.
She let out a deep sigh. But her forehead creased once again as she looked at Shanaia, who had the same expression on her face.
“Someone’s coming.” Tamika’s low voice made their eyes look at her in surprise.
She tried to get up despite her weak demeanor.
“You must hide.” Shanaia and Tamika told her, but she instantly shook her head.
“No, let’s face whoever it was.” Tamara stubbornly stated.
And before they could even say another word, the door started to creak as someone on the other end was trying to forcibly open it up.
“Tamara!” Shanaia clenched her jaw as she tried to hold her arm and make her hide.
But the door suddenly fell down creating a loud bang as it reached the floor.
Lamina in her wolf form, suddenly appeared in front of them. She sneered as she slowly walked above the broken door.
She swallowed hard as she felt the dark aura that was surrounding her.
Lamina sneered as she let out an eerie and low growl daunting her.
