“And who the hell has the nerve to offer my wife a wine? Who is that bastard?” This was Alpha Nelson yelling now, and this made both Grace and the server flip their heads in the direction of his voice.
Grace had not expected that Alpha Nelson would come at this particular time; it was really going to be tough.
Alpha Nelson had just walked into the hall after having the conversations with Cindy; he had not gone to greet his parents yet, so he walked up to where Grace was seated; they had to go greet his parents.
Even if Alpha Nelson knew he was not really on good terms with them, he just wanted to act like a good son; at least they had not caused any problems, and the introduction had gone very smoothly.
Just as he approached the table she sat on, Alpha Nelson saw one of the servers giving her a wine and piece of paper and saying something to her, looking in the direction a man stood.
His eyes followed their eyes. This was when he realized it was Redford. Yes, he knew Redford; he was also an Alpha, and his parents were also as wealthy as Alpha Nelson parents.
He was the son of the Alpha of the other country, somehow closer to that of Sophia’s father’s; they had boundaries.
Alpha Redford also had a share. In his parents company, they had very high power.
The reason Sophia didn’t know Alpha Nelson was due to the fact that she studied in a very faraway country and had just come back, and that was it.
Alpha Redford was wealthy, but he was not really known facially due to the fact that he always disguises himself even when he dresses classic.
Alpha Nelson’s eyes locked with Grace’s; he could see the fear in her eyes when she looked into his eyes.
The server who had given Grace the wine was trembling immediately when he sighted Alpha Nelson coming closer.
Who was not afraid of him? Who exactly?
“What the heck is going on here?” Alpha Nelson demanded, his eyes rolling from Grace to the server.
“Sorry Alpha.” The server bowed down to Alpha Nelson as he apologized.
“Sorry? Why? I asked a question, and I need an answer. Who sent you to offer the freaking damn wine to my wife?” Alpha Nelson asked again, knowing fully well it was Redford __ his own enemy.
Yes, you would be surprised how Redford was an enemy go Alpha but still has shares in his company __ that would be disclosed as the story proceeds.
Alpha Redford’s parents had some shares in Alpha Nelson’s company; due to what he had contributed at first, the company had not started blossoming.
Sophia’s father also had some shares in Alpha Nelson’s company too.
“He is the one Alpha; please forgive me, but I was told they were cool friends, and that was why I agreed to come and give it to her.” The server said with a shaky voice that he was dressed in a very unique material, linen.
“Get the fuck out of here with the freaking drink! Go give it back to him!’ Alpha Nelson sneered at the man, and he hurriedly left with the wine, leaving the paper on the table.
Alpha Nelson at first tried to calm down, but it was really very impossible for him to. He had that mindset that for Alpha Nelson to offer a drink to his Grace, that meant there was something going on wrong between them.
Grace had just started coming to his company a few days ago, and now he was wondering how the hell Alpha Redford knew her.
“Wow… A very cool friend to him, right?” Alpha Nelson bent down and whispered to Grace’s ear, and this caused a cold chill to run down her spine.
She wanted to say she didn’t know this man; she just met him days ago, and they had nothing to do with each other.
But her mouth opened agape and her voice was lost; she could even pronounce a single word.
She had no idea that Alpha Nelson would even dare to offer her a wine, not when everyone knew she would as the wife of the great Alpha Nelson, and this made her wonder what a fearless man he was; she had no idea he was also an Alpha too.
Before she knew it, she saw Alpha Nelson heading to where Alpha Redford stood; he seemed to be very enraged, and she could tell with the momentum he was using to walk closer to him.
Grace was a little bit annoyed that Alpha Nelson was already overreacting; he had been having some relationships with other women, and she said nothing about it, but now he was bittered when a man offered her a drink.
Grace grabbed the piece of paper Redford had sent the server to give to her and stashed it into her bag; she was going to see the content of it when she got home.
She wondered what Alpha Redford had written inside the paper and was having a double mind of opening right there.
“And what the hell do you think you are doing?” This was the first question Alpha Nelson asked Alpha Redford, and immediately he got to where he stood.
Alpha Redford was just a very simple man; he had seen Alpha Nelson yelling and doing all sorts of rubbish, but he just stood where he was.
The day he had first seen Grace, he had come for something that very day.
“Hell? Doing?” This was what Alpha Redford said; he repeated some of Alpha Nelson’s words and was like he didn’t get what he was saying.
“I mean, what right do you have to offer your stinky drink to my wife?” Alpha Nelson yelled even if he tried to maintain his cool.
Fortunately for him, the person’s present was having a good time and no one was watching them, though he had no idea that Cindy was at a corner videoing the damn tense moment.
“This is a drink everyone here is sipping, and you call it Stinky?” Alpha Redford asked; he was trying to act more mature than the child in front of him.
“And that was not the question I just asked; why can’t you just get a woman for yourself? Must it be my own wife?” Alpha Nelson was starting to take the conversation far.
“Wife? You mean wife? I am very sure I didn’t hear you well, or so you really say wife?” Alpha Redford asked for the third time, and this made Alpha Nelson boil in anger, and his fist clenched into a ball, and he was trying to control his emotions before he could disgrace himself in front of everyone.
“Don’t test my patience; I would advise you to stay away from her!”
“A wife that is not a wife to you? It is just a matter of time, a wife that is not always happy? You can’t even be a good husband to her, and you are here spilling rubbish on my face?” Alpha Redford said, and this made Alpha Nelson shocked, though he didn’t show it.
It was as though Alpha Redford knew he was in a contract with Grace, but who had told him?
“That is all I have to say to you; be warned!” Alpha Nelson said to Alpha Redford that he was talking to him as though he were one of his errand boys.
Alpha Nelson, with that last statement to Alpha Redford, walked up to the stage, and just when everyone saw him climb up, they all waited to see what he had to say.
“My special thanks goes to each and everyone of you that took time to attend this introduction; I really appreciate that. But I am sorry to say that this day has come to an end, and I would love everyone to leave. Thank you!” Alpha Nelson said and walked down off the stage, went to where Grace sat, dragged her roughly, and was heading out of the hall to the surprise of everyone.
Grave, with a very shaking step, followed him as a maid who was about to be thrown out of his mighty estate.
Everyone was startled; the occasion had some other things before ending, and it has not been performed. Even his parents were bewildered and confused at the same time.
“Let them get started with that. I can’t wait for her to be beaten and maltreated. Alpha Nelson would cease to love the bitch, and just then I would be on top.” This was what Cindy was spilling out as he nodded with approval.
“Death! You will be dead in just minutes from now.” This was what Alpha Nelson said to Grace, and damn, she was sweating profusely already.
Read and find out what happens. Next, was Alpha Nelson angry due to the wine Alpha Redford offered to his wife? Or due to the fact he knew his marriage with Grace was a deal?
