“Death! You will be dead in just minutes from now.” This was what Alpha Nelson said to Grace, and damn, she was sweating profusely already.
“What is going on?”
“Is Alpha Nelson going to beat his wife?”
“Why is he angry all of a sudden?”
“I thought it was going to be a happy moment.”
“And he just closed the gathering just like that?” This was what different people said as they saw Alpha Nelson leaving angrily with Grace.
They all had not expected that from him, dragging his wife like a nobody, not after he had passionately kissed her on stage.
They were all bewildered at the turnout of things, like it was really a twist.
Meanwhile, Alpha Redford was boiling; he was not a mother, father, sibling, or relative to Grace, but he felt really bad seeing how Alpha Nelson was maltreating Grace, despite the crowds that were all over the place.
Alpha Redford felt he could just run to stop Alpha Nelson and snatched Grace away from him and embraced her tightly.
He had fallen deeply in love with another’s man’s wife, and he had really been going crazy for her love to the extent that he had to even do investigations on everything and anything about her.
He seriously has a motive of having Grace all to himself already. He felt a spark of connection with her after seeing her that very day and spending some minutes with her inside the hall elevator.
The afternoon sun was still sparkling when Alpha Nelson and Grace had gone aside the company’s premises.
“What the hell is this? I don’t get it anymore.” This was only what Grace had said to Alpha Nelson as he kept dragging her outside the premises.
Alpha Nelson said nothing and continued dragging her so badly.
Alpha Nelson had dragged Grace from that floor they were on to the very last floor.
“Don’t try to act strong and follow my every move.” This was Alpha Nelson talking very harshly to Grace, who was already feeling so exhausted from so much dragging.
Sweat beads in her face; every time she tried to free herself from Alpha Nelson, he ended up dragging her more violently.
“Take me out of here right now!” Alpha Nelson said to Gerald, who was walking up speedily to them.
“Get into the car already!” Alpha Nelson smiled at Grace.
Grace was taken by all the humiliation and disgrace Alpha Nelson was showing her, not because she was calm but because she had what to do in mind.
He had just publicly disgraced her in front of his staff and other people’s, not just that in front of the two bitchy ladies, Sophia and Cindy.
Where was her respect now? How would they see her? All this was all that Alpha Nelson didn’t even think of before taking the silly action he had just taken.
The drive home began. Grace was really a very strong lady, but as her head replayed everything that had happened earlier, a tear escaped from her eyes and rolled down her very soft puffy cheeks.
Immediately she noticed it; she quickly wiped the tears off; both she and Alpha Nelson had said nothing since they entered the car. It was just a very quiet moment.
After a few minutes of driving, they arrived at Alpha Nelson Mansion. The car pulled into the compound not after the big iron golden gate was flung open by the security in charge.
Gerald skillfully maneuvers the car to the estate car’s lot at the very left corner of the estate, where another of Alpha Nelson’s cars was parked.
Alpha Nelson climbed down from the car and went to open the door for Grace; immediately after he did that, he also dragged her out of the car into the mansion.
Grace followed him like a dummy, like someone that couldn’t even stand up for herself. Gerald had noticed the tension in the car, though he had no idea of what had happened earlier in the company’s main hall.
“Tell me what the hell of a relationship you have with that man, huh? I need an answer!” Alpha Nelson was barking for Grace, whom he had flung on the chair.
Grave just kept calm, not even making a move to do or say anything; she just sat so weak on the couch, her heart heavy, her stomach churning, and tears trying to fall on her eyes.
The fact that Alpha Nelson had publicly disgraced her because of Alpha Redford, the man she had no business with, and even if she does, what right does Alpha Nelson have to treat her that way because of a man?
Reality hit her so hard that she was really pained, biting her lips and tasting a metallic taste of blood. She was trying not to start acting, for Alpha Nelson wouldn’t like the madness she would display soonest.
“I am talking to you; don’t play dumb as though you don’t have any idea of what I am talking about. Say something now!” Alpha Nelson was still yelling; he had no proof that Grace has anything to do with Alpha Redford, but he was already accusing her already, and that made her heart want to fall off her chest.
“And what if I have not said anything? Do you force me to say something? Something I know nothing about?” Grace wanted to yell; she just wanted to scream, but herself was saying these words as though she were about to cry.
“And do you think your teary voice or the way you are making it seem as though nothing is going on between you and him would make me want to believe you?” Alpha Nelson still dares to ask.
Grace sprang up to her feet now; all the energy she had lost had just returned to her body.
“Go to hell and burn to ashes for all I care! I have nothing to explain or sit to you; believe anything your heart chooses to believe; do I look like I care a bit?” Grace sneered at Alpha Nelson clutching her heart in pain; it was really unbearable for her.
“I guess you have to go check the contract again; it seems as though you have forgotten what was written in there and need to refresh your memory with the deal.” Alpha Nelson said, and Grace arched an eyebrow. Was he even supposed to be saying that to her?
“Am I not the one supposed to be saying all this? You are the one that needs to go read the contract; you have forgotten a lot.” Grace scoffed and made her sign of disgust with her shoulder.
“If you don’t tell me what is going on between you and that bastard, then you are leaving me with no other option but to believe what I have in mind.” Alpha Nelson continues to say.
“Believe what you want to believe, Alpha; even if something is going on between us, are you supposed to be confronting me and asking me a lot of questions?” Grace asked with disbelief; his audacity was something else.
“I am your husband, remember? You ha…” Alpha Nelson was still making his statement when GRACE chipped in.
“When you go about having with other ladies behind my back, what about that? When a woman came into our home and did not, only what she did was to cause a whole lot of troubles; where was your power as a husband then?”
“Enough! Enough! Enough!” Alpha Nelson said she was saying what made his anger fueled up.
“Enough! Enough! Enough! Enough too! Like what the heck? Why are you so bothered that I am having an affair with him?” Grace asked now, her eyes on his.
“Because you remain mine and mine alone. Having any affair with any man is not acceptable and that is final, it is something you need to do.” Alpha Nelson proclaimed.
Grace found herself laughing as she clapped her hand in wonderment, she laughed for almost two minutes before stopping.
“Husband you mean? You are a husband maybe to other women, but you are not a husband to me, not at all.” Grace said and just then Alpha Nelson couldn’t control the rage boiling inside of him.
“And you dare talk rudely to me? I can see you are now so powerful that you can open your mouth and say things to me anyhow you want huh?” Alpha Nelson asked bewildered, he had no idea she would act so strong after acting so weak for a while.
“Says a man who has no respect for his wife, a man who has no regard for his wife, a man who cannot think and act like a man instead she acts as a little boy. A man who doesn’t trust his wife.”
Just then as Grace continued to pour her anger, Alpha Nelson palm landed on her teary cheeks__ she had been crying as she talked and to his own very surprised Grace slapped him back heavily and waited to see what else he could do.
