The next morning, the early morning sun found it easy in Grace’s room, disrupting her wonderful sleep.
Grace was rolling very tirelessly and very weakly on the bed as she tried to dodge the rays of the sun, but it seemed impossible; it was damn blinding her eyes.
The hotness and itchiness of the son won’t let her sleep peacefully, so she decided to stand up from the bed after so much reluctance; she was supposed to be awake, though.
The previous day, after the little fight with Sophia, she had angrily left for her room, and after Nelson’s phone kept on knocking, she promised herself not to open up the door for him.
So after countless times of knocking, she realized that Alpha Nelson was gone since she wouldn’t open up, and just then she had a bath and slept off in the early morning.
Immediately Grace got up from the bed; her head thought of her brother, whom Cindy had told men to kidnap and keep in their custody.
She decided to be calm for a little bit; she had told Cindy TWENTY FOUR HOURS, and when that was up, it was really not going to be easy if she should take full responsibility.
A smile graced her lips when she recalled the encounter she had yesterday with Sophia, for the fact that Sophia had finally left was one of the obstacles being clear of the road for her.
“The freaking bitch that thought she could be a boss lady in someone’s house, a noise maker.” Grace said inside her heart as she yawned and used her hands to kiss her mouth.
She also had to show Alpha Nelson that with or without him, she could be happy and cool.
Making up her heart to have nothing to do with him was really a very tough decision, but she was happy she was letting him be even though it was tough for her.
Grace was going to the Divine’s company today, so she decided to go get dressed, though the shareholders meeting was also coming up soon, and she also tried to maintain her shares in the board.
After a very thorough hot bath, Grace stepped out of the bathroom. She was tying a white, thick towel around her breasts, and her hair was really wet too. The nice smell of her very expensive shampoo and conditioner filled the air as she came out.
A few minutes later, when she was done drying her hair, she stood at the front of the wide silver mirror and gave it a thorough combing, making it perfect to step out with.
After Grace was done, she put on a very crisp blue shirt, her very decent black expensive designer skirt, and wore a very heavy office jacket matching the crisp blue cloth and her black shoes.
Grace stood in the mirror and couldn’t help but keep wowing at her own beauty; she was really an angel in human clothing.
When she was done, she applied a very light pancake mascara to her long lashes; she applied a very moderate pink lipstick and other makeup in a very light format, giving more compliment to her beauty.
After she was done, she picked up her phone and was about to head out to work when she saw a message sent twenty-four minutes ago in her phone, and just then she realized the text message was from Cindy.
If not Cindy, who else? “This lady is trying me. I love the fact that you got married to a man that has the same stinky attitude as you. So thankful for making us break up.” Grace scoffed and did a shoulder sign of hate style.
“You have no idea what awaits you ahead, bitch of a lady!” This was the damn text message Cindy had sent to her.
The amount of hate Cindy had for Grace was three people’s hate combined; it was mighty.
Picking up her bag, Grave straightened her clothes and looked in the mirror for the last time before heading out to work.
Alpha Nelson, on the other hand, was really in a very weak mood; he had no idea of his fate now.
Though he planned to make sure things go normally between him and Grace, so they could behave more like couples as it had always been before Sophia had ruined everything-not just Sophia, but him himself and his family-his parents.
He had decided to surprise Grace at the office today and couldn’t help but be nervous already.
He had no idea if she would come to the office, but he decided to be positive first and prepare for work.
Grace arrived at the company after minutes of being on the road, not even with one of the cars in Alpha Nelson’s mansion; she had booked a cab driver.
She was surprised when she was shown her office as the legal wife of the CEO, their boss. She had no idea how things are really done in the Divine’s company, but she was very sure she would learn as soon as possible. All this was part of the deal, and she has to play it very well too.
The lady that had shown her around was really cool; unfortunately, she wasn’t even in the mood the other day because of what she saw them doing in his office, and sometimes she wondered if all damn men are flirts.
“Thank you so much, dear.” Grace acknowledged the lady who seemed to be smiling, having no issues with her.
“Thank you so much ma, you are welcome to our company… it would be nice doing some professional work with you.” The lady whose lady was Rita said.
I can see her name at the top right corner of her chest which was bold printed, she was a top staff member, the id card she was wearing said it all.
“Yes, nice.” Grace said bro her dismissing the conversations and tried to go into her office when the lady spoke out.
“As the wife of ALPHA NELSON, the CEO of the Divine’s company, you would be publicly welcomed today at the hall by all the staff members.” The lady said and smiled, her fine gal teeth adding to her beauty.
“Thanks so much for the information, can’t wait.” Grace said and smiled.
“Your welcome ma, I will be on my way ” the lady said bowed and left.
And just when Grace wanted to go into her office, hee eyes caught Redford, coming in and holding hands with someone she knew was Sophia!
Damn! Her stomach made a rumbling noise and she felt as though her heart was beating so fast like a fast played drum, her breath was caught inside her throat and damn she was not breathing..
