Grace’s eyes met those of Sophia; she really couldn’t read what the eyes Sophia gave her meant, but it was really something that looked devilishly.
“Damn! What is this freaking asshole doing here?” Grace cursed inside of her, removing her gaze almost immediately.
She had no idea of who Sophia is, nor did she know what she was doing in the boardroom meeting for just shareholders.
She had thought maybe Sophia had just come for Alpha Nelson, and that is all without knowing she had other reasons why she was actually there.
Grace was still lost in thought and was just standing when she heard someone whisper into her ears.
“You are shocked, right? You are not supposed to be my dear.”
Grace flipped her head backward only to meet the devilish smirk of Sophia. Sophia was really getting on Grace’s nerves just after the first time of seeing her. She was already giving.
Giving her a very bad wink, Grace let out a sigh and walked to take her seat at the large conference table.
The hall was a very big, beautiful, and well decorated room; it was really luxurious, had a fine white painting, had a very large conference table with a very big television, and the air-conditioning atmosphere was really good.

Alpha Nelson walked in a few minutes after Grace had walked in; his face wore a scowl; all these people were just getting on his nerves.
His eyes locked with Sophia immediately as he entered the boardroom. At first, he tried to think of what she was doing there, but he couldn’t think of anything.
Sophia was smiling as she looked at Alpha Nelson, who also looked quite surprised to see her, just as Grace was.
It was a few minutes before the board meeting was supposed to start; by then all the shareholders were already present in the meeting, and the room was filled.
Yes, Alpha Nelson’s parents were rich, same as Alpha Nelson, but Sophia’s parents were more richer than Alpha Nelson’s parents, not really.
The meeting started in less than twenty minutes, though Alpha Nelson and Sophia and Cindy just kept up with their eyes on each other.
Cindy had not noticed something about Sophia yet, and that was just not a problem.
Meanwhile, Grace was acting a little bit indifferent; she avoided a gaze with Alpha Nelson, Cindy, Sophia, and the damn ex-fiance of her Victor.
She just wished the meeting could just end so that Alpha Nelson would explain everything to her.
It was a corporate board; it wasn’t owned by one person; it was owned by different entities.
The secretary of the board meeting stood up to make the update of the shares for the day.
He was a very tall, handsome young man. With his amber-piercing eyes at his very ironed suit, he stood at the very front part of the large conference table.
“Greetings to everyone. I mean all the board members. I welcome you all today to the Tycoon Fair Shares Company. The main reason we all have gathered here is to call the board member with the highest share increments.” Thean said and paused when he noticed the crowd was starting to murmur.
This was really not the meeting they were supposed to be having, and the chairman also knew but still wanted to introduce her.
“I am so sorry for the inconveniences to you all, but I had to call the person with the highest shares and lowest shares before the meeting could proceed.
“Go ahead and announce.”
“You can go ahead and announce.” The board agreed to the chairman.
Cindy was boiling where she sat; she knew it was Grace; she knew Aloha Nelson had helped buy the largest shares. Not just her Victor, on the other hand, was really not smiling.
Sophia was the only one smiling as though she had won a trophy or something more.
Alpha Nelson could smell something fishy; there was something he understood; he was quick to know that either his parents or Sophia’s parents had made her buy the highest shares.
HR smiled at himself and was just waiting for the chairman to say it officially.
“The board member with the highest shares is no other person than our new member Sophia Brownson. She is the only daughter of the wealthiest Alpha Mathew Brownson.” The chairman announced, and just then Sophia stood up, her face beaming with a smile as she waved her hand in the air.
Cindy gasped; she had heard of Matthew Brownson, not just her; almost everyone in the boardroom was really shocked, even Grace.

“Now, the person with the lowest shareholders goes to Cindy; she has the lowest, and with all this, I would love to thank you all for listening. The next meeting will be communicated to you all.” The chairman said, and just then things ended.
Alpha Nelson, who was really damn tired of the freaking meeting, rushed out immediately; the meeting was close, and he was followed by Sophia.
“Hi love.” Sophia said to Alpha Nelson, he was leaning on his black Lamborghini Aventador and seems to be lost in thought.
Alpha Nelson raised an eyebrow and saw Sophia standing in front of him.
“Huh? What do you want?” Alpha Nelson asked, his voice cold and detached.
“You see what happened there; I am the one with the largest shares, and you know what that means.” Sophia said, flinging her hair.
She had really bought shares, and with the level of wealth her father has and his influence, it wasn’t really hard.
Alpha Nelson’s mom was aware of every one of her movements, and it was really very cool.
“You get the largest shares, so what is so special about that? If I want to get a larger share than I can.” Alpha Nelson really doesn’t want to have a conversation with Sophia.
Just as they were having this conversation, Cindy was passing by and was now eavesdropping to know what the hell they were talking about.
“You know this is just a way of making you see me as your wife; it is something you can’t say no to. I am sure you will want to ask your mother why,” Sophia said to Alpha Nelson.
“Why don’t you just get the fact that I can’t get married to you, Sophia? Is that really hard to understand? My mom and my dad want you, right? Please go to them; I am not them.” Alpha Nelson scoffed, irritation laced in his tone.
“I can see that bitch has bewitched you, but better you know not, I am your only forever. Divorce her and get married to me; if not, you won’t expect what will befall your family.” Sophia voiced out.
“Is that a silly threat or what? What do you mean, huh? Don’t you dare say duly things to me.” Alpha Nelson warned.
“Then I guess you will have to go have a discussion with your parents, and then you will understand all that I am saying. Goodbye!” Sophia said and walked out angrily.
Alpha Nelson was staring at this point and had no clue of what Sophia was saying; neither was he really as confused as his face and eyes looked.
Cindy couldn’t believe what she had just heard; she just used her hands to hold her lips from allowing her to scream; it was indeed really worth wowing for.
Cindy never knew Sophia was also interested in Alpha Nelson; now she has another villain who wants to take Alpha Nelson away from her.
She walked out of that particular place and was heading to go and confront Grace.
Cindy saw Grace having a discussion with a woman; she stood at the corner of the hall waiting for her to get out before facing her.
Grace was walking out of the building when she was confronted by Cindy.
“What is the meaning of this?” Grace asked Cindy, who was blocking her way.
“You what? You thought you were smart, but you have no sense; you baby, nothing in the empty head of yours.” Cindy said to Grace boldly.
“And you also think you are smart, right? You think after sending men to kidnap and rape me, I will have no information about it? You think I won’t come with the police later for your arrest?” Grace said to Cindy.
Grace really doesn’t know what she did to Cindy right from when she knew Cindy; Cindy had done nothing but hate her and everything.
Cindy let out a very loud mockingly laugh. “What, and you think you are going to Alpha Nelson forever? Once his new real wives come into the picture, you will do nothing to step down.” Cindy scoffed, winking at Grace profusely.
“New wives!” Grace blurted out in surprise.
