“New wives! Grace gasped.
“What the heck are you talking about?” Grace found herself asking Cindy.
“You are too dumb to know; it is not a surprise, you know; with time you would see what is going on, bitch.” Cindy said, her eyes triumphant.
“I have no time to exchange words with you right now, so no your place, Cindy. Excuse me!” Grace scoffed.
“Why would you when your life is as miserable as you are?” Cindy scoffed too.
But then Grace let out a very annoying sigh and walked out of her, not listening to what else she was saying.
Grace walked down to the car; she was quick to see Alpha Nelson. He tends to be thinking of something, but she really doesn’t care. She just has to get home and ask him a lot; she needs to know a lot.
Grace climbed into the car, same as Alpha Nelson, not even saying a word to him, she said to Gerald.
“Start the car and get me out of here now!” She was screaming.
Gerald immediately ignited the car and skillfully maneuvered it to the gate, where the gate opened the big gate and let him drive out of the premises.
Alpha Nelson and Grace sat all this while inside the car, not saying anything to each other as though they were strangers, though thousands of questions were on Grace’s mind, but she had to keep them till they were home.
Alpha Nelson, a black Lamborghini Aventador, drove into his very big estate after minutes of riding in a very tension-able car.
Immediately Gerald parked the car, Grace jumped out of the car and was heading into the building. She had been receiving a lot of insults from Cindy, which was not supposed to be so, and now a lady had just insulted her hours back, all because of Alpha Nelson.
Gold digger? What made them think she was one? After all, Alpha Nelson was the one that made her sign the deal.
Grace was now sitting on the very beautiful couch inside Alpha Nelson’s estate sitting room; she was getting rid of her stilettos, and the anger in her could be sensed as she did that.
She sucked her teeth in annoyance, her legs trembling as though she wanted to have a fight with someone.
Alpha Nelson came in a few minutes later after Grace had gotten in; it was really going to be a very tough day, and the tension in the air was palpable. It was pretty clear that things were not really right.
“Who is she? Who is SHE?” Grace sneered, standing up to her feet; she was facing Alpha Nelson.
Like, she couldn’t take the bullshit anymore; it was getting out of hand, and she needed to stop it.
A lady insulting her all because of a man? No, she won’t take that shit.
Alpha Nelson looked up at Grace; he was neither ready nor smiling, nor was he happy that Grace was demanding him to talk.
“I asked who she was. The lady? Who is she to you? You have an arranged marriage with her? What exactly?” Grace kept asking even if Alpha Nelson was calm.
“Who the hell is who? Arranged marriage, huh?.” Alpha Nelson said and chuckled, which was later replaced with a very serious face of his.
“You have no answer to the asked question? It is simple, who is she to you?” Grace asked again as though Alpha Nelson had not heard her the first time.
“She was introduced at the meeting, right? I am very sure the chairman introduced her to everyone, so what are you trying to ask?” Alpha Nelson asked; he was really not ready to talk about Sophia’s case.
“Don’t act dumb with me; I mean, don’t play dumb with me. I am asking what she is to you. Everyone knows she is the daughter of Alpha Mathew Brownson.” Grace said she was losing her patience already.
“She is who she is, please; I have nothing to say about her.” Alpha Nelson told her clearly, arrogance laced in his tone.
“I won’t take that for an answer; there is something amiss here, and you have to start talking. Are you in an arranged marriage with her?” Grace said her voice was calm now, but the fear in it could be sensed.
She was in a contracted marriage with Alpha Nelson, and she still didn’t want to lose him, even if he had clearly told her not to ever fall in love with him. It was really hard for her.
“Arrange marriage with her? Is that what you think, huh?” Alpha Nelson said, walking more close to Grace this time, he was starting to want to talk now.
Grace was just staring at him, saying nothing, though their eyes were locked together.
“And why, if I am in an arranged marriage with her, is there something wrong with that?” Alpha Nelson scoffed.
“Damn! Damn you asshole! There is freaking something wrong with that.” Grace pouted; her eyes were going red.
“Then can I know what is wrong with that?” Alpha Nelson asked Grace; he had the audacity.
“The deal was printed out by you; I guess you are not dumb to know what was inside and what was not.” Grace scoffed, anger fumming in her tone.
“Huh… is this jealousy? I am not really married to you; this is a contract marriage, or don’t you know it will end someday, huh?” Alpha Nelson pointed out.
“What are you trying to do? Classify me as illiterate? It is a damn freaking contracted marriage, and you have to respect the rules in the deal, man!” Grace’s blood was boiling, and the amount of anger surging through her veins was really palpable.
“Then tell me the rules that have disobeyed women!” Alpha Nelson asked and waited curiously for her to talk.
“Having any relationship to do with another woman apart from me, that is in the deal.” Grace recited.
Alpha Nelson let out a very loud mockingly laugh; he couldn’t help but burst into a laugh.
“Woman? So what woman am I in a relationship with? Can I know if you don’t mind?”
“Sophia Brownson, the damn bi__.”
“Not too fast, my dear.” A voice echoed in the room before Grace could finish what she had to say.
Alpha Nelson and Grace flipped their heads to the very part of the sitting room door and saw Sophia; she was with a box as though she were moving into the mansion.
“Wait what? What are you doing here?” Grace was the first to ask. She was really so irritated with Sophia’s audacity.
“What does it look like I am doing here? Or do you have some problem with your eyes?” Sophia asked Grace, rolling her box inside, coming closer to where Alpha Nelson and Sophia stood.
Alpha Nelson was shocked to see her though, but he was contemplating if Sophia had heard some of the crucial conversations he was having with Grace.
“How long have you been at the door? For how long, huh? Alpha Nelson asked, his eyes scanning her and the big box she was with.
“I just came in. Are you both supposed to be asking me a lot of questions, or should you call one of the maids to take in my box and prepare a room for Mr. to stay?” Sophia said, pulling her long hair backward before sitting down on the couch.
Grace was smiling; she was just smiling at Sophia; she was really a very stupid lady.
“And what the hell do you think you are doing? Have you gone mad? Are you sure you are okay?” Grace questioned her voice, laced with a mixture of disdain and shock.
“I won’t let you call me all sorts of names in my husband’s house, not because I have given you the opportunity to live in this mansion, but consider your damn self in the street as soon as possible.” Sophia said, standing up to face Grace.
“Stop this, Sophia; I can’t recall telling you to come to stay in my house, so please, what are you doing here? I need an answer.” Alpha Nelson yelled at her.
“I am your soon-to-be wife, the only real daughter-in-law to your parents, so the question should be, what is this bitch you call a wife doing here? What exactly?” Sophia throws back a question instead of answering.
“Now, this is what we call a shameless woman; are you trying to marry a guy? I thought he was supposed to be the one after you and not you after him.” Grace asked sarcastically, her voice dripping with mockery.
“You know, all the wealth he has right now can be taken away from him in just a few seconds, and you know what that means.” Sophia said her statement wasn’t really clear.
“You won’t come to my house and spit rubbish, Sophia! I am very sure you are not needed here, so please leave for good.”Alpha Nelson growled.
He was really not understanding the situation at hand anymore. He was very sure his mom might have hands in Sophia coming to his mansion; he will be very sure to call her.
“I have got nowhere! I’m staying here! And nothing can be done.” Sophia said the authority in her voice could make one think she was the sole owner of the building.
