a drive

Book:A NIGHTSTAND WITH THE BILLIONAIRE ALPHA Published:2024-11-9

After a few hours of driving in their black Lamborghini Aventador, Alpha Nelson and Grace finally arrived at the board.
Alpha Nelson held Grace’s hands as they walked into the main building of the board, their steps as elegant as they are.
Only for Alpha Nelson to flip his head to the left corner of the hall they had just entered, he saw Sophia; she was sitting in a free black chair, her eyes on the expensive iPhone she was holding.
He halted, giving her one more glance to be sure he had seen Sophia, or his eyes were just deceiving him maybe.
“Honey, are you okay? Are you looking for anyone or maybe something?” Grace asked, her eyes darted to where Alpha Nelson’s eye was as he was lost in thought.
“No, not really. I was trying to look around the building.” Alpha Nelson stuttered a little bit.
“Okay, let’s go in; we are running late somehow.” Grace said, and Alpha Nelson nodded in agreement, holding her hands to resume walking when a feminine voice spoke out.
“You won’t just walk away from me, right?” Sophia said as though she had seen them come in but was just waiting for them to take an inch.
Grace halted, same as Alpha Nelson; they flipped their heads almost the same time to where the voice just sounded.
Grace’s eyes rolled on the lady she had just seen; her eyes blinked in shock. She was just looking from the lady to Alpha Nelson, who also seemed startled.
The silence was something Grace couldn’t take; Alpha Nelson was not saying anything; she had to break the long silence.
“Excuse me, Miss, what and who are you, r___?” Grace was about to ask politely when Sophia rudely chimed in.
“Huh? Hey, shut the fuck up and keep your silly questions to yourself.”
Grace gave a surprise face like, I don’t get what you are saying.
She was expecting Alpha Nelson to maybe say something, but he seemed so good with silence and just kept quiet.
“Excuse us now, please. I want to have a conversation with my husband.” Sophia continued to spit out bullshit, and this made Grace more shocked than she was earlier.
“Hu___sband?” Grace gasped her eyes and darted to Alpha Nelson, who seems to be fighting to control himself for yelling maybe.
First of all was the woman’s audacity to just interrupt their movements, and now it was her talking about a husband, what?
“Yes, I meant husband; you heard me very well and clearly, didn’t you? Or are you expecting me to repeat myself, huh?” Sophia was already yelling at her as though they had maybe been enemies years ago.
“I don’t get, like I don’t understand you, woman, what are you talking about? Who is your husband and w__?”
“I said you should excuse us and let us have a conversation and stop with the blabbing questions; it is really annoying and damn ___.” beforeSophia could finish yelling at Grace Alpha Nelson, she growled.
“Don’t you have no shame; don’t you have a single shame; I mean, don’t you have respect and regard for yourself as a woman? Like I am asking, I want to know.” This was Alpha Nelson speaking now; this was his first word ever since Sophia had decided to act foolish.
One could sense in the way that Alpha Nelson was speaking that he was really furious, enraged, and annoyed.
“Nelson! Nelson! You dare say this to me, huh? You dare insult me in front of this thing? This trash, you dare do that, right?” Sophia at first sounded as though she was about to shed tears, but the tone was switched to something bland.
“What is going on here, woman? Don’t dare speak to me the way you are doing, please.” Grace said calmly to the woman.
It was then that people could just say things to her face, and she wouldn’t act as though they did.
But now that she had learned to treat the people the way they treat you, there was one thing she couldn’t let anymore, and that was allowing people to insult her.
“Who do you think you are? Aren’t they just gold diggers? You want money, right? Leave my husband alone, and I will give you the money you crave.” Sophia said and let out a loud mocking laugh.
Grace was just looking at the lady, watching her act in her drama, so we’ll.
“For you to be aware, I know you are not; Alpha Nelson had promised me marriage, and marriage it is.” Sophia Said with pride, and just then she pulled a strand of her very black hair to the back of her ear.
Sophia then turned to Alpha Nelson and gave him a wink from his head to his toe, although she could use her heart eyes to send him to the ground.
She snapped her hands at him, and as she was about to go out, she quacked Grace at the shoulder to pass even though there were many spaces for her.
Grace used her hands to drag her clothes back and brought her back to her face.
“Apologize!” Grace said to Sophia, and just then Alpha Nelson’s eyes widened in shock; he had not expected that from Grace.
Sophia, who thought she had gotten away from what she had started, was shocked for a while, not even finding any words to say.
When Sophia realized herself, she raised up her hands to slap Grace, but Grace was just so smart that she caught Sophia’s hand in the air.
“You won’t dare, Miss.” Grace said she was still sounding respectful even if the lady didn’t deserve any of her respect.
“What the heck, you this bitch, do you have any idea of who I am? Do you know what you are putting yourself into?” Sophia bragged.
“I don’t care who you are; so far as you have no respect for people, don’t expect them to show you that.” Grace pointed out.
“And who do you think you are to lecture me or tell me what you are not supposed to tell me?” Sophia sneered and was struggling to release her hands from Grace’s grip. Just then Grace freed her.
She has no idea that Grace was a werewolf too and had power, even if she behaved weak sometimes.
“Stop all this, Sophia! Just stop all this! Must you have to be embarrassed yourself? We are in a public place for Crying out loud.” Alpha Nelson, who had been quiet for a while now said.
“Nelson! Nelson, so you have to join her to insult me; there is nothing you can do; you can’t get married to her; your parents will accept only me as their daughter-in-law and not a rag like she is.” Sophia still dared to say she was really more violent than Cindy was.
Grace was fumming inside of her; the anger in her wanted to tear the lady to pieces, but she just had to maintain; she was in office wear, and she had a very high sense of mentality and couldn’t deal with people with low mentality like Sophia, so she let it slide and allowed Sophia to walk away.
Grace’s eyes darted to Alpha Nelson immediately Sophia had left, asking him to explain everything that had just happened.
Alpha Nelson gave an eye, telling her to calm down; she was really going to have problems with him if she was to ask anything.
Grace, with the anger in her, gave out a very annoying sigh and sucked her teeth before leaving Alpha Nelson going into the boardroom.
Alpha Nelson was really just playing calm all along, but deep down he just wished he could just make Sophia think like someone reasonable.
Alpha Nelson was about to walk to the boardroom with Sophia when he heard another feminine voice.
“I hope you have thought about what I said, and I will be getting an answer sooner.” Alpha Nelson, whose pain surged deep down inside his blood marrow, was quick to recognize her voice, Cindy.
“Now! You have to listen to me clearly and make sure you listen clearly. Stay away from me, stay away from my wife, and stay away from everything concerning me. I am very sure you have no idea how you can just drop dead with one call and nothing would be done. This will be my first and also my last saying this to you. And for the damn sextape you claim to have shown it to the world.” Alpha Nelson said not even cutting.
Cindy, who was courageous when she had first spoken, was already shaking as though she had been caught up in a very heavy rain.
She didn’t expect the outburst, not at all. Alpha Nelson, after saying this to Cindy, sucked his teeth and walked out, his footsteps showing how angry he was.
Grace, on the other hand, entered the elevator and put herself on the floor she was heading to; the elevator whisked her up to the floor.
When she got there, the door had to grant her permission before she walked into the boardroom, and when she just walked in, her eyes locked with those of Sophia, the lady she had just had an encounter with minutes ago.
