Daniel smiled as he recalled the dramatic event that occurred earlier in the meeting room.
“I should start taking advantage of the opportunity since there is no love between them.” His mother gave him a smiling look as he grinned to himself.
The smirk on her son’s face indicated that he was thinking about the previous drama, “Are you thinking about the same thing? ” She inquired, opening the door to the top floor assigned to them.
“I can easily get the elders on my side with the look of things; it will be much easier than I thought.” He replied and closed the door, then walked slowly towards the bed and took his seat at the edge.
” Do you think they will agree? The Elders appeared too greedy to work with you; they want our family’s power completely stripped away. What happened to him, though? Is the poison he consumed as a child still present in him?”
“It is beyond comprehension, but I will undoubtedly discover the truth. As for the Elders, our shared main objective is to remove Damian from the throne. After that, it will be simple to remove them; I will take charge and they will handle the grunt work.” He grinned at his brilliant idea.
“You will reveal their actions once you assume the role of Alpha? Will they not disclose your involvement?” Her face was full of worries.
“Mom, I know how to handle that.” He chuckled at his mother’s concerns.
Daniel’s mother turned to face him as he said, “I think I love that girl though. She is vibrant and will make a good Luna while ruling alongside me.”
“Are you falling for your cousin’s mate? That is the only thing I will not accept from you; she will undoubtedly be the end of you if you marry her.” She nodded in disapproval.
“Not if I curb her first, I know what to do, mother. Trust me.” He proposed, then bent over to kiss his mother’s forehead before heading out the door.
“Do not forget to go greet the current Alpha’s mother; you should see for yourself how she is dealing with her sick son.” With that, he walked out of the room.
He strode around the pack, familiarizing himself with it after being away for years. He was walking towards the apartment, which he assumed was the pack’s store when he noticed Mavana.
His heart skipped a beat and he quickened his pace to catch up with her.
“Hey,” he called, but she ignored him with the intent of not hearing.
Humiliation overshadowed him, prompting him to approach her and pull her into a secluded area.
“What the…?” She yelled, pulling her hands free from the strange man’s grip. She remembered seeing him in the meeting room earlier but did not know who he was.
“I do not know how to explain this to you, but I love you; it was love at first sight,” he exclaimed, pinning himself to her against the wall. His dick was brushing against her.
“What the fuck are you doing? You are so disgusting” She mumbled and pushed him off herself. Before he could say anything, she slapped his cheeks hard. He staggered backward, hands on his cheeks in bewilderment.
“You fucking piece of shit!” He flared up as his hand flew to Mavana’s neck, strangling her with a rough push backward. Her head struck the wall.
” Ouch!! ” She spoke as a ringing sensation vibrated in her skull and pain spread through her veins.
She raised her head in surprise, wondering how he went from Love at First Sight Spiller to aggressive bastard.
” Who the hell are you? What did I do to you?” She questioned to avoid making unnecessary assumptions.
“I am your mate’s cousin, Daniel, and I adore you. That jerk does not deserve such a lovely woman as you.” He muttered and pressed his lips against hers, sucking roughly.
She started hitting his chest hard, but he persisted and continued the forced kissing; unfortunately, a maid passed by with a phone and captured the moment. She serves as the Relation Elder’s maid.
“Get off of me!” She screamed, unconcerned about who heard her. She raised her legs in a single motion and hit his scrotum before fleeing.
Shamelessly, He held his injured area with a smirk on his lips, “The soft lips.” He groaned and walked back to his room, his hands still there.

” You will not believe what I just found!! The Alpha’s mate was caught kissing Daniel, the Alpha’s cousin.” She dropped the bombshell, and Elder’s jaw dropped as well.
“Do you have any evidence to back this up?”
“I have.” In response, she moved to sit next to him and opened the phone by scrolling up.
“Whoa!” The only statement that came out of the relationship Elders slightly parted their lips.
A sudden, intentional laugh erupts from The Relation Elder’s throat, he extends his hands, and she gently handles the phone to him.
“Go to her and deliver my message: I need her presence.” He gave the order, and the maid bowed before leaving on the errand.
She walked towards the kitchen and saw Mavana passing by with an ice bag, “He pushed her hard, showing that he is into rough sex.” She mocked and approached her.
“The Relation Elder seeks your presence,” she vowed before walking away.
Mavana furrowed her eyebrows, her mind racing with ideas.
“Why would one of the elders summon me?” She huffed and made her way to his home.
She entered the apartment with a soft push and stood in front of him, bowing.
“What in the hell are you doing? You are a stain on our reputation.” He yelled and showed her pictures of her earlier kiss with Alpha Damian’s cousin.
Mavana opened her mouth to speak but closed it when nothing came out. Her thoughts wandered to how and when it was captured. Her hands begin to tremble, and sweat drips down her forehead.
Given how nervous she appeared, the Relation officer decided it was time to throw out his conditions for not revealing the pictures to her.
Looking directly at her, he remarked, “There is something you can do to aid in the deletion of this picture.”
“What is that?” She muttered in hushed tones, but the situation threw her off.
“Kill Your Mate,” he stated.
