3rd person’s POV
Dimitri alongside Louis and Kate head back to the pack house, still surprised about what they just witnessed.
“The rogues are really planning something big this time around,” Dimitri mumbled, we must fish out the traitor really fast and whatever it is they are planning or else we are going to experience a lot of lost.
“Which direction did you see the figure coming from,” Dimitri inquired.
” Just behind the pack house,” Kate replied.
” For a rogue to be able to by pass the border into the innermost part of the Pack,” Louis muttered, then we are in serious danger.
“We need to visit Odette,” Dimitri mind-linked Louis.
“You should head back to the room,” Dimitri said, I and Louis want to check out someone.
“Okay then,” Kate responded.
Both of them turned to the back of the Pack house, and went through a passage that led them into a basement,
The basement was warm and calm that no one can know anyone is there,
” Welcome to the Alpha and the Beta” a voice greeted, which caused Dimitri and Louis to stop abruptly.
A woman who look to be in her forties cackled coming into the light.
” We have a breach” Dimitri said without letting her step out from her cove completely.
” I know ” she replied.
I have been expecting you to come for a while now.
“So what do we do about it,” Dimitri asked. We can’t let our guard down just like that.
I will start working on it, immediately.
The rogues have a sorcerer who is working for them, I will create protection round the pack, that the rogues will not be able to get pass through just as it happened tonight.
Okay, Dimitri replied.
He and Louis turned back and head back to the pack house.

The uneasiness that had seized the Bloodmoon Pack following the encounter with the mysterious being remained in the air. Dimitri, had promptly reinforced border patrols. It was evident that they were being observed, but the spy’s identity-whether he was a rogue, a Twilight Fang Pack member, or a traitor within their ranks-remained unknown.
However, just as the pack was prepared for fresh attacks, they received a message from the Embermoon Pack, their Alpha, Alpha Ethan, would be paying them a visit. The word traveled rapidly, and by the time the sun had completely risen, the entire pack was abuzz with inquiries. Why was Alpha Ethan coming here now? What did he want?
Dimitri, ever the strategist, approached the visit with care. The Embermoon Pack had always maintained a distant but neutral relationship with the Bloodmoon Pack, and the two packs had never forged any major alliances, especially when the Bloodmoon pack was in alliance with the Twilight Fang pack but now that the Bloodmoon Pack had broken alliance with the Twilight Fang pack and with recent rising instability and imminent dangers, every prospective friend was worth considering.
As Dimitri and Kate waited in the pack’s large hall, the sound of approaching vehicles disturbed the calm. The guards stationed outside the gates stood up straight, their gaze riveted on the approaching party. Alpha Ethan came out of one of the vehicles as they pull over just in front of the pack house, he stood at the front of the gathering, towering and powerful, with silver streaks in his black hair and golden eyes that were keen with knowledge.
“Alpha Dimitri,” Ethan said as he dismounted, his powerful voice echoing around the courtyard. “It’s been a while.”
Dimitri took a step forward and firmly grasped Ethan’s hand. “It has,” he answered. “Welcome to the Blood Moon Pack. This visit was unexpected.”
Magnus grinned softly, but it did not reach his eyes. “I’m afraid these are unexpected times, Alpha Dimitri.”
Kate, standing alongside Dimitri, attentively examined Ethan. She’d heard of him before-an Alpha known for being both fair and fiercely protective of his flock. Embermoon was a powerful pack, and their neutrality made them a valuable ally in pack disputes. If Ethan had come all this far, it suggested that something major was happening.
Dimitri gestured for Ethan and his men to follow him inside so they could converse privately. As they entered the hall, the doors closed behind them, and the tension was obvious. Kate took a seat next to Dimitri, her senses on high alert, waiting for Ethan to explain his unexpected presence.
Ethan wasted no time in getting to the point as he took his seat. “There’s trouble brewing, Dimitri,” he said quietly. “I’ve come to warn you-and to offer a potential alliance, if you’re willing to listen.”
Dimitri wrinkled his brow. “I have heard rumors. The Werewolf Council has already warned us of instability and rogues activity. “What else do you know?”
Ethan leaned forward, his golden eyes flashing with passion. “It is worse than you imagine. The rogues are not operating alone. They’re being coordinated-someone is tugging their strings, and I believe it’s not just the Twilight Fang Pack.”
Kate felt a shiver go down her spine. She had dreaded this, but hearing it from Ethan, an outsider, made it even more real. “Do you have proof?” she said, her tone level.
Ethan directed his glance upon her. “I do have proof but it just not concrete enough. However, my scouts have intercepted some communications of rogue leader, Maksim and they found the Twilight Fang pack to be communicating with them. There is talk of a secret werewolf hunters organization becoming involved, they are trying to take out the Werewolf Kingdom.
Dimitri’s jaw tightened. “So my guesses are right it’s not only the Twilight Fang Pack. There are more players in the game.”
“Exactly,” Ethan said bitterly. “I suspect whomever is organizing this intends to undermine the Werewolf Council, disrupt the most powerful packs, and seize control of the Silverwood trees. And once they have that, the entire werewolf realm may be theirs.
The Silverwood Trees return. The center of the struggle, which had already resulted in so much murder. Kate exchanged a glance with Dimitri, realizing they couldn’t afford to disregard Ethan’s warning.
“What are you proposing?” Dimitri asked.
Ethan sat back in his chair and crossed his arms. “An alliance.” The Embermoon Pack is powerful, and we’re ready to battle. But we cannot tackle this challenge alone. If we band together, our packs can defend one another-and even unearth the actual mastermind behind it all.”
Dimitri thought about this for a time, his countenance inscrutable. “I’ve never seen the Embermoon Pack associate themselves with others. “Why now?”
Magnus’ eyes darkened. “Because this time, it is personal. We own right to the Silverwood Trees but the Werewolf Council took over and I accepted because I knew if we are giving the territorial right then, we will definitely be targeted more, and I am not willing to lose anymore of my Men over what we will all benefit from since it’s under the Werewolf Council, so it baffles me that, that greed bastard, Alpha Ethan paused,
I’m sorry Luna Kate, he said as he turned his gaze to Kate
No problem, I understand, Kate responded with a nod
“who isn’t even supposed to be fight over it,” Alpha Ethan continues decides to go further to connive with rogues just to have it, Last month, the rogues attacked one of my outposts. I my Men were injured, And the message they left behind made it clear: they are coming for all of us, one pack at a time.
Kate felt a flash of rage on Ethan’s behalf. The rogues were getting more aggressive and organized. They were no longer scavengers seeking for territory; they were an army in the making, with someone overseeing their every step.
Dimitri eventually nodded, confirming his decision. “Very good. An alliance might benefit both of our packs. However, stopping this will need more than raw force. We need proof of who is behind it and what their ultimate purpose is.
Ethan smirked, his eyes gleaming with threat. “I suspected you may say that. And I think I know precisely the person who can help us.”
He signaled to one of his guards, who moved forward to open the door. A woman strolled in, with sharp features, raven-black hair, and piercing blue eyes. She exuded confidence and intrigue, and her presence held the room’s attention.
“This is Elara,” Ethan introduced her. “She’s spent months undercover in rogue circles gathering intelligence. She is more knowledgeable about their operations than anyone else.
Elara moved nearer, her gaze skimming Dimitri and Kate. “The rogues are planning something big,” she stated without explanation. “And they are not the only ones. The Twilight Fang Pack is heavily involved, but someone else is tugging the reins. I’m not sure who yet, but I know where we can start searching.”
Kate listened closely, her thoughts racing with ideas. This was the breakthrough they required. If Elara could direct them to the rogue leaders-or, better yet, the mastermind behind the attacks-it might alter everything.
“What’s your plan?” Dimitri inquired, his gaze hardening.
Elara grinned with a sinister edge to her expression. “I will take you to one of their hiding places. It is strongly guarded, but if we go swiftly, we may catch them off guard. We might even figure out who is giving them informations.
Dimitri stared to Kate, who offered a modest nod. They didn’t have much time, and this may be their best chance to retaliate before the rogues-or the Twilight Fang Pack-made another move.
“Very well,” Dimitri said, getting to his feet. “We will get our warriors ready and make our move on them. “But what if this is a trap…”
“It’s not a trap,” Elara interrupted, her voice steely. “I’ve got no motive to betray you. My allegiance is to the Embermoon Pack, and now to this alliance.”
Ethan nodded in accord. “Elara has endangered her life for this knowledge. We can trust her.”
Dimitri’s face relaxed somewhat. “Then we go onward. Bloodmoon and Embermoon will battle together.
As they completed their arrangements, a loud disturbance broke out outside the pack house. Dimitri’s head shot up, and Kate’s heart started racing. The doors sprang open, and one of the guards rushed in, breathless.
“Alpha Dimitri, Luna Kate-there are some men at the southern border,” the guard said. “They are requesting to talk with you they claim to have a message from the Twilight Fang Pack.
A frigid stillness descended over the room. Kate’s heart increased as she considered the possibilities. A message from Twilight Fang? What may this mean?
Dimitri’s eyes hardened, and his voice was as cold as steel. “Be prepared for whatever may come. This might be the beginning of the end.
Kate felt a chill go down her spine. The Embermoon Pack’s presence brought new perils as well as possible friends. Whatever message the Twilight Fang Pack delivered may swing the balance of power in the developing war-or hurl everything into chaos.
As they reached the Southern Border, the men from Twilight Fang pack gave a slight bow,
Greetings Alpha Dimitri, Greetings Luna Kate, we have brought a message from the pack elders of the Twilight Fang pack, one of the men stepped forward handling the envelope in his hand over to Dimitri.
Dimitri opened the envelope, and reading it’s content.
This letter had just confirmed what the Embermoon Pack just told them about the Twilight Fang pack involvement. But he had also done justice by letting them know it wasn’t the entire Twilight Fang pack that was involved, it was Alpha Damien and his loyal Men.
So my Father is really the one orchestrating the attack, Kate heart sank as she muttered in her low voice filled with sadness.
“You don’t have to let this get to you,” Dimitri said. we will not let him win, and don’t forget you have already denounce him, so you don’t have to feel guilty for his actions.
