3rd person’s POV
The tension inside the Bloodmoon Pack had grown intolerable. The attacks had become more regular, and it was evident that someone within the pack was continuously passing information to their foes. It was just a matter of time until the traitor was exposed, but the question remained: who was it?
Louis had been working discreetly, following up on every lead and keeping an eye out for strange activity. He and Dimitri had believed for weeks that there was a spy among them, but they need confirmation. With Elara’s presence and the prospect of an alliance with the Embermoon Pack, the stakes were higher than ever. The rogue strikes were no longer random; they were precise, as if someone had guided the adversary precisely to their weak points.
They couldn’t afford to wait any longer, given the approaching threat with the Twilight Fang Pack involved.
Louis sat in his quarters, gazing down at a stack of paperwork on his desk. It was all there: patrol schedules, information on pack movements, and intelligence that had somehow gotten into the hands of the rogues and the Twilight Fang. But what piqued his interest was a single piece of paper, which he had previously obtained from a location near the southern border where a recent attack had occurred.
The handwriting on the note looked too familiar. His heart fell when he discovered the reality. He didn’t want to accept it, but the evidence was clear. The spy, the traitor, was none other than Sir Roland, Sir Cedric second-in-command and one of the pack’s most revered fighter.
Louis stood from his seat, his thoughts racing. He’d known Roland for years and fought beside him in innumerable conflicts. How could he have deceived them like this? How long had he been working with the Twilight Fang Pack? And why?
There was no time to hesitate. He needed to inform Dimitri quickly.

The pack house was strangely silent, Louis head up to Dimitri’s office. The air was thick with apprehension, and the fear of treachery hung over everyone. The pack sensed something was wrong, but they couldn’t have predicted that one of their most trusted warriors would be the traitor.
When Louis entered the room, Dimitri was standing near the window with his back to the door. He did not move as Louis approached, but his voice was low and strained.
“You’ve found something,” Dimitri remarked. It was not a question.
Louis took a long breath to stabilize himself. “Yes. “I know who the spy is.”
Dimitri turned slowly, his gaze as steely as steel. “Who?”
Louis paused, hating what he had to say. “It’s Sir Roland.”
For a minute, there was just quiet. Dimitri’s look remained unchanged, but the air in the room appeared to get thicker. When he finally spoke, his tone was deathly quiet. “Are you sure?”
“I found this,” Louis explained, passing the message to Dimitri. “It matches Roland’s handwriting, and the patrols listed are the ones he was in charge of supervising. He has been sending information to Alpha Damien for some months. That explains how the rogues were so well-coordinated. “He has been feeding them our movements.”
Dimitri gazed at the message, his mouth clinched firmly. His eyes darkened with rage, and the muscles in his arms tightened as he struggled to control his emotions. “How long have you known?”
“I suspected for a while,” Louis said. But I wanted proof. “This is it.”
The treachery slashed deep. Roland had spent years as Dimitri’s most loyal warrior and the second-in-command. They had fought wars and shed blood together, but it was now evident that Roland had been working against him and the pack all along.
“Where is he now?” Dimitri inquired, his voice dangerously low.
“This is a training yard. I didn’t want to face him before telling you.”
Dimitri nodded, his eyes filled with rage. “We deal with this now.”
As they were just about to climb down the stairs, Kate was heading up.
She locked gaze with Dimitri and she sense the sadness in them,
What happened, Kate inquired as she exchange gaze between Dimitri and Louis.
We found the Traitor, Dimitri said his voice filled with sadness.
“Thanks to the Moon Goddess,” Kate muttered. Who is the traitor.
Sir Roland, Louis responded. He has been supplying information to the Twilight Fang pack
“Sir Roland,” Kate yelled with her eye wide open, the traitor is turn out to be the person she least expected.
No wonder the rogue attacks are so coordinated and precise, they are getting a first hand information from our most trusted warrior, the second – in – command to the pack warriors.

Dimitri alongside Kate and Louis came into the training yard. Warriors are sparring, doing exercises, honing their skills for the, coming attacks. Sir Roland stood tall and dominant, as if nothing was wrong. He screamed instructions to the younger soldiers, his voice powerful and commanding.
Roland grinned as he saw Dimitri and Louis arriving, but there was an anxious look in his eyes. He knew.
Dimitri did not spend time exchanging niceties. “Sir Roland,” he said, his voice steely and full of power. “We need to talk.”
The yard grew silent as everyone turned to watch. The tension in the air was evident, and Roland’s face changed rapidly from confident to fearful. He hesitated for barely a second before moving forward to greet them.
“What’s this about, Alpha?” Roland inquired, his tone cautiously neutral.
Dimitri’s stare was intense. “It’s about betrayal.”
Roland’s face stiffened. “I don’t know what you mean.”
“You’ve been working with the Twilight Fang Pack,” Dimitri said, his voice dead calm. “Feeding them our moves and strategies. “You have been betraying your own pack.”
Roland’s face lost color, but he swiftly recovered, his expression hardening into defiance. “That is a falsehood. I’d never betray the Bloodmoon Pack. “I’ve been loyal to you for years.”
Louis moved forward, holding up the note. “This is your handwriting, Roland. You provided them the patrol timetables. You have been sending information to Alpha Damien, and we have evidence.
Roland’s gaze moved to the message, and for a brief moment, there was terror in his eyes. However, he soon concealed it with rage. “Do you think a scrap of paper proves anything?” I have been nothing but faithful to this pack. You’re blaming me without any credible proof!”
Dimitri moved closer, his towering presence causing Roland to take a step back. “Do not lie to me, Roland. We’ve known each other for too long to do that. Why? “Why did you do that?”
Roland’s expression contorted with bitterness. “Do you want to know why?” Because you’ve weakened, Dimitri. You’ve lost your edge since you lost your first Mate. The Twilight Fang Pack is correct-this pack requires true leadership, not someone who’s weakness is known by all, if not for the presence of Kate and the covering up Louis have been doing to cover your tracks, we all know what would have become our Pack.
Your acceptance of this weak half breed just make you more soften, you are more interested in her becoming stronger than the affairs of the pack.
“An alliance with the Twilight Fang Pack was supposed to bring more power and wealth” Roland smirk, but you sabotage it when you decided to sabotage the acquirement of the Silverwood Tree and making sure the Werewolf Council took over. I found out all your secret meeting with them during the decision making period on the territorial right.
You’re becoming weak Dimitri, you are now becoming the Werewolf Council puppet.
Dimitri’s eyes burned with rage, but he did not move. “So, you sold us out to Alpha Damien? To the rogues? “You thought that would improve things?”
Roland scoffed. “I did what I could to salvage this burden. Dimitri, you have gotten too soft. You are more concerned with safeguarding Kate than with defending the pack. “Someone had to do something.”
“Something like betraying your family?” Louis hissed and stepped forward. “You have placed all of us at risk. Warriors have died as a result of your treason!”
Roland’s expression stiffened. “I did what I felt was best. “You are the one who is too blind to see it.”
Dimitri’s rage was hardly held, yet his tone remained cool and authoritative. “You are no longer a member of this pack, Roland. You have betrayed your Alpha, family, and honor. For that, there is only one penalty.”
Before Roland could react, Dimitri’s hand darted out and grabbed his throat. With a quick movement, he flung Roland to the ground, his eyes burning with rage. The warriors looking from the yard remained mute, their looks a mix of disbelief and hatred.
Dimitri knelt with his face inches from Roland’s. “You’re lucky I didn’t murder you where you stand. But your destiny will send a message to Alpha Damien and the Twilight Fang Pack.
He rose up and motioned to two of the guards. “Take him into the dungeon. He will stand trial for his treason, and the pack will decide his fate.”
As the guards took a struggling Roland away, Dimitri turned to face the assembled warriors. “Let this be a lesson for anybody who would betray their family. “The Bloodmoon Pack will not tolerate traitors.”
The warriors bowed earnestly, their commitment to Dimitri unwavering.
Sir Cedric rushed down to the Pack from the border as he received the news of his second – in – command being the traitor. His eye was filled with rage, he couldn’t believe his ears. He and Roland has fought side by side for year and they are buddies. As he reaches the training yard, he met the guards dragging Sir Roland away.
“He lunged at him with full terror,” how dare betray us like that, what did he promise you that make you turn against your family.
“I did what was best for the pack,” Sir Roland replied with a wicked grin.
The infuriated Sir Cedric more, he turned into his Lycan form and fling Sir Roland in to the training yard.
Dimitri didn’t try to stop him, he knew how he felt, Sir Cedric and Sir Roland aren’t just fellow warriors, they were buddies just like him and Louis, and he can’t ever imagine what he would do if Louis betray his trust like this.
The two Warriors have engaged in a fierce fight, both in their Lycan form, Cedric had overpowered Roland. He gave him the lasting punch which made Roland to roll on the floor and transforming back to his human form.
Sir Cedric lunged at him raising his claw to drive it into him,
Enough, a snarl from Dimitri roared through the training yard.
Sir Cedric calm down and ordered the guards to take him away.
He motioned to Dimitri and gave a bow to him, I’m sorry my Alpha, I will be more vigilant from now on and keep a close watch on my Men to detect any other defiant before it’s too late.
“No problem,” Dimitri said, I want you change all our patrol routine from the ones we have planned, and do it discretely, we can’t be so sure the snakes are no more in our midst until the war is over.
After the war, we will settle and make arrangement of building the trust amidst our men but right now we need to be more vigilant in safeguarding the pack.
As the sun fell over the Bloodmoon Pack, anxiety and suspicion remained in the air. The traitor had been discovered, but the harm was already done. The rogues had learned critical information, and Alpha Damien had made his move. The war wasn’t over.
Dimitri turned to Louis and Kate with a stern grimace. “This war is only just beginning.”
And deep down, they all understood that the genuine menace was still out there, lurking in the darkness.
They head back to the Pack house, discussing on their next move.
“We should move with full force and attack now,” Kate said.
