3rd person’s POV
Following the discovery of the map and notes the traitor had dropped the tension among the Bloodmoon Pack remained high. In reality, it appeared to have merely increased, enveloping the pack like a dense fog. With another rogue assault coming and the traitor still present, the atmosphere was heavy with fear and uncertainty.
The rogues had tried to infiltrate their pack at the Northern Border just when they knew they haven’t recuperate from the attack at the Southern border, but they were met with surprise at they were unable to have gain access using the same strategy they used to infiltrate the southern border.
After Dimitri had worked out of the pack hall earlier that morning, Cedric had met with the lead warriors from all the ally packs privately since he doesn’t know who to trust in his own pack anymore, not after the plan they had carefully made within the high ranks in the pack, finds its way into the rogues hand so easily.
“I don’t want us wait for the rogues to move in close on us, and we defend, I want us to attack to then head on.” Cedric said. Here is the secret passage ways into the pack territory, I want strong men at situated hidden at the entrance of this passages outside the territory and on the inside as well, our men will also join you. And once you sight the rogues I want you to alert and attack immediately, The men all nod in uniform.
Then after they made out the plans, sir Cedric came to address their men who are assembled in the war room.
“I want you to have our men hold each border gates,” he ordered without informing them about where the ally warriors will be. He turned to each one the head guards and ordered them to site their men at locations he had carefully selected, he gave his order with much explanation of the plan. Once you heard the alert I want to to attack immediately.

THE NEXT DAY
After the second attack of the rogues at the Northern Border wasn’t successful, they had not hear about any one their movement.
Dimitri stood at his desk, grasping the edges as he read the Werewolf Council’s newest letter. His demeanor was grim, and when Kate entered the office, she sensed a shift in his energy.
“What is it?” she inquired, her tone low yet urgent. She knew Dimitri well enough by now to recognize when he was thinking about anything serious.
Dimitri sighed deeply, folding the letter and placed it on the desk. “The Council is concerned,” he explained, his voice low. “They have issued a warning. They feel there is increasing dissatisfaction within the packs, and they assume outside forces are involved.”
Kate scowled and moved closer. “What did they mean about outside forces? “You mean the rogues?”
Dimitri shook his head, teeth tight. “Not only rogues. They believe that someone with more power and influence is orchestrating the attacks. And they are telling us to be cautious.”
Kate’s heart fell. The possibility of a bigger conspiracy behind the rogue strikes was alarming. The Bloodmoon Pack had already been weakened, but with the thought of a traitor and outside force manipulating events, they were in much greater danger than before.
“What else did they say?” she said, attempting to keep her voice calm.
Dimitri’s brows narrowed as he examined the letter. “The Council believes that some of the packs are becoming restless, unsatisfied with the existing balance of power. In the findings they carried out themselves they sensed There have been a rebellious act in the kingdom, There might be packs joining up with the rogue leaders or, worse, werewolf hunters.”
Kate flinched at the thought of hunters. Werewolf hunters were vicious, and their hatred for werewolves was intense. If the hunters were engaged, that suggested the situation was considerably more hazardous than they had anticipated.
“They urged us to stay vigilant,” Dimitri said. “Keep an eye out for any signs of unrest within our boundaries. They didn’t mention any specific packs, but I believe the Twilight Fang Pack is the one involved.”
Kate’s heart tightened at the mention of the Twilight Fang pack, thoughts of how they had challenged them after they broke an alliance with them instantly played in her head, the sudden silence from her Father, Alpha Damien and Kayden is suspicious, she knew her father doesn’t just accept defeat. Since The Twilight Fang Pack lost territorial rights to the Silverwood Trees, and with their alliances broken, it only made sense that they would seek out new partners, no matter how hazardous. If they were collaborating with rogues and werewolf hunters, they might explain the dramatic increase in the attacks and instability.
“So what do we do?” Kate asked, her heart racing. “If the Twilight Fang Pack is plotting with rogues and hunters, they could be planning something even bigger than these border attacks.”
Dimitri’s expression darkened. “We prepare. The Council’s warning could be our sole advantage right now. If dissatisfaction is growing, it won’t be long until it escalates into open violence.”
Kate’s mind raced. The situation was rapidly deteriorating, and she couldn’t escape the impression that the Bloodmoon Pack was perched on the verge of disaster. The traitor in their midst, the rogue attacks, the dissatisfaction among the packs-it was all linked, and it was only a matter of time until everything erupted.

LATER THAT DAY
The pack assembled in the pack hall, where Dimitri stood before them, commanding as usual. Kate stood alongside him, her demeanor somber, as they prepared to speak to the pack about the Council’s warning.
“My brothers and sisters,” Dimitri started, his tone calm but authoritative, “we’ve gone through a lot in the last several weeks. Rogue attacks, betrayals, and losses have made us susceptible. But today, I must deliver some news from the Werewolf Council.”
The audience muttered, nervous eyes shifting to Dimitri. The tension was tangible, and Kate felt the weight of their apprehension. They felt something was wrong, and the air was heavy with uneasiness.
“The Council has warned us that there is growing unrest among the packs,” Dimitri explained. “They believe that outside forces-rogues, hunters, and possibly even rival packs-are collaborating to destabilize our pack.” And they have warned us to exercise caution.”
There was a wave of astonishment admist the throng, and Kate could see the warriors exchange apprehensive looks. The thought that rival packs were siding with hunters or rogues was terrifying, especially considering the recent attacks.
“We must remain vigilant,” Dimitri said firmly, his gaze sweeping across the hall. “We cannot afford to get complacent. Someone has violated our confidence and put all of us in risk. But we will not allow fear to govern us. We’ll find them. And we will stop whatever schemes are being made against us.”
The throng murmured in agreement, but Kate could see the doubt in their eyes. The weight of recent events had taken its toll on everyone, and the thought of another attack, or worse, a betrayal from within, weighed heavy in the atmosphere.
Following the meeting, Kate stood near the pack house, watching the pack members go. Dimitri had given them direction, but the underlying worry persisted. She could sense it like a pulse in the atmosphere.
Louis approached her with a stern face. “It’s not good, Luna. If the Twilight Fang Pack is involved, it might signal the start of something far greater and dangerous. “If they work with rogue packs and hunters…”
“I know,” Kate said calmly, cutting him off. “We’re running out of time.”
Louis groaned and ran a hand over his hair. “The traitor is still out there, and until we discover them, we are vulnerable. If they’re providing information to the Twilight Fang, it’s just a matter of time until we’re targeted again.”
Kate nodded, her thoughts racing with the ramifications. Every second they spent hunting for the traitor was another opportunity for the enemy to amass strength and plot their next move. And now that the Council had issued its warning, it was evident that they were dealing with considerably more than merely rogue strikes.

THAT NIGHT
Kate could not sleep. The events of the day replayed in her mind: the Council’s warning, the terror in the pack member’s eyes, and the traitor hiding in the shadows. She lay in bed, looking at the ceiling, her mind a blur of fear and resolve.
Dimitri laid next her, breathing deeply and steadily, but she could see he was more concerned than she was. She could feel it in their bond-the weight of leadership, the responsibility to defend their pack, and the looming peril that threatened to swallow everyone.
Kate, unable to bear the silence any longer, slipped out of bed and discreetly exited the room. She made her way to the balcony, where the cool night air blew over her. The moon hung low in the sky, sending a faint glow across the pack lands.
As she stood there, deep in meditation, a startling movement attracted her attention. She turned, her senses on high alert, and noticed a person creeping through the darkness toward the forest’s border.
Her heart raced. Was it a traitor? Or was it something else-another rogue surveying their domain, waiting for the perfect opportunity to strike?
Kate transformed into her wolf form and rushed out into the darkness, her senses leading her to the person. She had to figure out who it was-before it was too late.
Dimitri was in the sensed Kate transformation through their bond, “where are you going,”he demanded by mind-linking her, you shouldn’t be out in the woods alone.
I just noticed a sudden movement right now, Kate responded I am following the person, I want know who it’s.
“Wh- What,” Dimitri jumped up from the bed, rushed down the stairs, Louis who sensed the sudden tension rushed out of his room as well. He followed Dimitri and they both head into the woods at the direction Kate had described.
Do not proceed, Dimitri ordered mind-linking Kate.
I don’t want to lost the sight, Kate responded, follow my scent she added.
Kate’s pulse raced as she rushed through the woodland. She could feel a person ahead of her moving swiftly, attempting to avoid her. But she was quicker, She closed the gap and stopped abruptly just some step away from the figure who is backing her
Dimitri and Louis sprinted through the forest in full speed, and they caught with Kate so fast they saw her standing, they rushed to her side and saw the person standing just some step away from her in the darkness,
turn around and reveal yourself, Dimitri ordered their gaze fixed on the dark figure just as it turned to face them.
For a brief period, time appeared to stand still. The figure’s face was obscured by the darkness, the face covered but something about the stance, fragrance, sent shivers down Kate’s spine.
And then, just as Dimitri sprang forward, the figure vanished into the darkness, leaving just a faint, menacing aroma behind-one they couldn’t quite name but was all too familiar.
The three of them were dazed at what just happened right in front of them,
“That’s a rogue,” Dimitri yelled.
We should be expecting an attack any moment from now,
Different thoughts run through his mind, what did the rogue came to do, did he come to get some more information, or did he come to survey the pack.
“And you,” Dimitri said turning to face Kate, don’t you ever run after an unknown person without informing me first. What if he had turned back and attacked you in a bid to escape.
“I’m sorry,” Kate said, understanding Dimitri’s concern. I acted without thinking it through, I just didn’t want to lost sight of the person.
The traitor was closer than they had thought.
