The long day of asking questions and trying to know what happened the day of Nova’s incident, finally came to an end. The Second Lady that I met didn’t get to say anything to the Alpha’s household. So I also decided to keep mute about it all.
I don’t recall what happened that day.
Was the only response I was able to give to them. But deep within me, I also wanted to know what happened. How did my soul swap with that of Nova? And why? I also want to ask the ladies that saved Nova, what they knew about the incident? Have never bothered to ask them all the vital questions after I woke up.
With the guilt written on the second Lady’s face when I saw her, then something was up. I need to find out what it is. I have a feeling they hold the answers to what happened that day.
Luna takes me into a room. The room I know belongs to Nova. It holds her scent. The first scent that filled my nose when I woke up that day after collapsing.
My eyes scan through her specious, well organized room. Nodding my head, not bad. But why does she like pink? Hmmn…. Her taste is quite different from mine.
“Do you want me to spend the night with you, My girl?” Luna asks, her eyes still puffy from all the tears.
“No. Thanks, L…. Mother. I’m alright to spend the night alone.”
“That’s good my girl,” she leaves a soft kiss on my forehead, before she starts for the door.
That’s a good mother right there. Not the evil one my father decided to bring into our household.
Alright, Elara. You are alone. Now think of what next to do with yourself. Should I go out and ask those ladies about everything that happened that day? Will they even give me the answer I needed?
Nova. I need to have a word with her. She is the best person I can speak with. But how do I locate her? I don’t even know which of the rooms she’s in. This is fucking annoying.
I sprint out of the room. My eyes ran through everywhere, making sure there was no sight of Luna, or the Alpha, before I headed toward the exit.
There was something that looked like a back door, I decided to make use of it. Hope this door doesn’t lead to a forest, just like the hospital back door.
A deep breath of relief flows out of my mouth, when I open the door, and see a garden with beautiful flowers. Thank Goddess, this isn’t a forest.
I make my way through the garden, searching and hoping that I get to see Nova. If she isn’t out here, then eventually, she will be in one of the rooms. I pray I see her out here.
My feet pace around the garden. Luckily for me, I found her. In a hurry, I amble toward her, but my steps stop midway when Alpha Arthur suddenly surfaces. He didn’t surface to meet me, but her.
I hide my body in some flowers, watching them. I can’t let him see me. It’s best I wait here for him to finish his conversation with her and leave. I’m in no fucking mood to speak to him.
Nova’s wolf roars in my head as I peek at them from a corner. Her wolf wants to desperately meet with her human. I hope my wolf also misses me that way. I had been trying within me to calm Nova’s wolf this past few weeks. She was stronger by far than my wolf, because she was an Alpha wolf.
But she was very understanding like a human. The animalistic behavior that every wolf possesses, was far away from her. Maybe because she is royalty.
I tuck in a deep long breath as I hold a little conversation with her wolf. Luck was on my side again as she decided to listen to me.
My attention goes back to Alpha Arthur, and Nova, as I keep watching them from a distance. They had a long talk, and I couldn’t help but wonder what they were speaking about.
The urge to use her wolf in eavesdropping surges me, but I dare not. A wolf will never betray their human.
I stare as Nova moves closer to Alpha Arthur.
She holds his face, and suddenly kisses him on the lips. He wraps his hand around her waist, returning the kiss. This is a shock to me. Alpha Arthur didn’t even hesitate in returning her kiss. My eyelids move as I try to blink off the tears that almost threaten their way down my cheeks.
I can’t dare to do that. Not for the stupid ass Alpha Arthur. Not even for any man. Unintentionally, my fist clenches by my side, my heart racing in anger. I tried to control my feelings. I tried to control my emotions, every fucking one of it, but I couldn’t.
This won’t do.
If I keep watching them having the best time of their life, I might end up destroying one of them. I immediately turn around and leave. That was the right thing for me to do.
My lips keeps muttering lot of curse words as I make my way back to the room. Alpha Arthur was trash and I can’t waste my emotions on him. I hate men who are fucking lose dicks.

I enter the room and slam the door shut. My back resting on the door as a sharp pain courses through my heart like a knife piercing in. I was hurt. I was jealous. As much as I try to deny it, I can’t hide the fact that I can’t stand Alpha Arthur being with another lady.
That was my body kissing Alpha Arthur. But that wasn’t me. I knew the truth. I’m very certain that he’s fully aware that Nova is the one occupying my body. Then why? Why do you have to do that to me, you stupid ass Alpha! Just why!?
“I’ve been waiting for you, Nova,” I hear a deep voice utter. The light suddenly switches on.
My mind was so occupied with Alpha Arthur’s stupid act that I didn’t notice that the light was turned off when I returned to the room. The light was on when I stepped out.
“How are you feeling, Nova?” The guy called David, walks up to me.
“Why are you here?” My eyes run through his body. He’s in red pajamas. And from the stare on his face, I could tell he was mad about something.
“Are you trying to play smart with me, Dear Fiancee,” he moves closer to me.
Fiancee? Oh, Nova is engaged to him, and she has the nerve to kiss Alpha Arthur out in the open. What an audacity.
“I know you didn’t lose your memory. You remember it all. Everything that you saw and heard that day. Everything that I did to you, and how it started. Don’t you dare pretend to me,” his voice sounded so malicious
I feel a great fear creep into me as he moves even closer to me. What is he speaking of? Why does he have this lustful stare of a man who wants to devour an animal?
Just when I try to turn around and run away from him, he yanks my hair with force, throwing me into the bed. My back bounced on it.
He hops into me as I try to regain my strength and run away. His hand cups my mouth, stopping me from screaming.
Just then, he starts to struggle with my thighs, and forcefully spreads them apart. “You refused to let me have you back then. But right now, I will have you as good as I want. Your parents are fast asleep. Kingsley and Beta Goddard are not in the mansion. No one will come for you. No one,” he reaches for my pants, and I struggle hard with him.
“Please, let go of me. Stop it. I’m not Nova. Please stop!” I scream in his hand, but my voice can’t be heard because of how tight his hand cups my mouth.
I keep trying to fight him off me. But he’s stronger. Stronger than a normal male Gamma wolf. He holds my hands in place as he lets go of my mouth. I couldn’t move or struggle with him anymore.
Strangely, I begin to feel weak. I was losing my strength. What did he do to me? This is not his first time doing this to a woman. “Please, let me go,” I cry out.
