Chapter 72

Book:Alpha Arthur, She is mine Published:2024-10-27

Elara;
I fucking don’t know who these people are or what I’m doing with them. That has been my case ever since I woke up in this strange body. Seeing different strange faces and people, has been the order of the day.
After my sex video was put out there, and Alpha Arthur’s face was fucking blurred out of everything, and then the I was stoned to death by those stupid idiots. Did I actually die or not? I don’t know. Maybe I did or almost did.
The end product of it all was the fact I woke up in a strange place. I had bruises all over my body, and I couldn’t feel my legs. The bruises were not from the stones thrown at me. They were like deep scratches, and I even had the skin of my side torn. The pain was very immense.
Luckily, the wolf in me when I woke up. Which wasn’t my wolf but an Alpha wolf, healed my wounds. It took two weeks, or even more for my wounds to finally heal.
I couldn’t speak then or ask the ladies who I woke up under their roof any questions. It remained that way for two weeks. When I was finally healed, I began to ask questions.
Questions those ladies held no answers to.
What was this place? Why was I in a different body? Where was my real body?
I didn’t bother to ask them how I could return to my pack, because I noticed they were trying to hide me away from the eyes of their pack members. But that wasn’t a problem for me.
I on the other hand also didn’t want to return to my pack. I didn’t want to face Alpha Arthur and all the evil that dwelled in the NightShade Pack. The pack that almost took my life. I missed nothing about the Pack, aside from my best friend, Malicia.
She has always been my biggest worry, but I wasn’t ready to go back to her. I wanted to keep hiding in this body. In this unknown Pack. Maybe that was my punishment for fucking Alpha Arthur when I was married to another.
Something I didn’t know was the fact this body I found myself belonged to someone who was still alive. I also thought that my wolf and my true body were dead, and the body I was possessing was the Goddess giving me a second chance.
If I knew the true owner would finally surface, and with Alpha Arthur. Or if I knew she was still alive, and was from the Royal family, I would have fled to another pack. Better still, gone Rogue.
Once again, everything is looking all fucking messed up. I don’t know where we are all heading right now. What will be my fate? Will she request to have her body back?
Yes, she has to!
She needs to have her life back and stick to her family. She has a beautiful life and a powerful Alpha wolf. I know she won’t dare to trade it with a life of a nobody like me.
Just a quick thought. Why was she with Alpha Arthur? Did her soul actually wake in his arms? Softly sigh…. I know she doesn’t know he’s a monster and doesn’t care about anybody.
I hope she didn’t get to fall for his cute face, and let him have my body. The body I’ve vowed never to give to Alpha Arthur ever again.
“Nova,” the Luna holds my hands and I jerk out of my thinking. “Are you alright my girl? How do you feel?” Her palm feels every part of my face, “You’ve become very thin my girl. I’m sorry for what you went through.” She holds my hands tightly.
I’m not your daughter, Luna. Your daughter, Nova, is in another car with Alpha Arthur. Just how do I say this to her? I want to scream it out for everyone to know that I’m not her. The strange questions I’d gotten from the Luna and the Alpha in this car were many.
It’s crazy how the questions keep coming when I haven’t given an answer to any.
“I’m very fine L…. Mother,” what should I address her with?
“Did that Omega lady do anything to you?” Luna asked.
“No, she didn’t,” I softly responded. Pretending to be weak. Probably the questions will stop coming.
The Luna and Alpha are meant to be saying a very big thank you to the Omega lady. As Luna chooses to call her. That lady and I think her sister, did a perfect job in keeping me alive. They took care of me, and made sure I had everything needed.
Where was her sister, the second lady? Have not seen her for two days.
Thank Goddess that Luna finally decided to keep quiet. This will make the rest of the ride a little peaceful for me.
Our car drives into a huge villa, and after a few more kilometers, we stop in front of a mansion. The drive took us a few hours. If we had decided to run as wolves, we would have gotten here three hours before the car.
But then, this is the 21st century. Werewolves don’t live like wolves anymore, they rather prefer to act like humans.
A servant opens our door, and one after the other, we step out of the car. Luna makes sure to hold my hand tightly, before leading me inside. With her actions and the worry on her face, I know she has missed her daughter so much.
“Nova,” a handsome Gamma male wolf steps toward Luna and I. He immediately covers his arms around my body. “I miss you so much, Nova. I thought I would never get to set my eyes on you again,” he press me against his chest.
I try to break free but his hold is stronger.
Who was he and why was he fucking hugging me in this manner? He can’t be her brother. No brother hugs a sister this way.
“Alright, David. Pls, can you let her breathe a bit?” The guy who hugged me earlier, pushes the so-called David off me. “Nova, come have a seat,” the guy tugs my hand and makes me sit on the sofa.
“What actually happened to you that you got into that accident? It’s been four months that the whole family has been searching for you. We deserve to know what happened.” The Alpha asked.
He has been questioning me throughout the ride, and I couldn’t say shit. Because what was there to say? What do I know about Nova’s incident that I will give an answer to their question?
Nova needs to step up and speak out.
“With how she couldn’t recognize anyone, it’s obvious she doesn’t remember what happened,” Alpha Arthur steps up for me.
I never asked for his support though. Why was he getting involved? I know he’s aware of the switch between Nova and me, and I bet you, he’s here for something that will benefit his selfish ass.
“But she has to remember something. Anything that can help us trace the people involved in her accident. If there are any,” the Alpha insisted. I couldn’t address him by his name because I didn’t even know the name of this pack.
If I knew the name of the pack, then maybe, I would know his name. Speaking as if I have any idea about the affairs of any pack. I should just shut the fuck up.
“Nova, at least say something. It’s been four months already and I think you have to remember even once,” Luna’s gentle voice fills my head.
Four months? How was that possible when I just found myself in this body a month back? I wanted to say that to her. I sure wanted to say that to everyone.
“I, um,” I cleared my throat. “I, uh! Yup, I-I’m hungry,” out of nowhere, the wrong words sprint out from my mouth.
“Oh, she is very hungry. Where are the servants, Chefs, anyone?” The Alpha’s eyes sprint around as he roars. “Where is the head servant? Someone get her for me.”
“I’m here, Alpha,” a lady replies from behind me. Her familiar voice gets my attention. My head instantly bends back and unexpectedly, I set my eyes on her. The second lady who saved my life.
What was she doing here? How did she get here? Why is she the head servant? What does she know about Nova’s incident that she was present to save her? I can’t help but gaze at her in a jaw-dropper.
