Chapter 2349: Quickly Let Tom Come See Me

Book:Mr. Marsh's Twins Published:2024-11-1

Actually, Tom should have guessed it earlier. How could his mother know about Bubu in his email? His mother almost never entered his study, much less touched his computer, and she didn’t know the password. Tom didn’t know how to explain it.
“Son, you must handle this matter well. You’ve wasted seven years of her youth; are you going to drag it out even longer?” Jane said to him. “A girl’s youth is the most precious thing. Hurry up and make things clear, delete her.”
“It’s not the same person,” Tom Fritz replied gently. “I didn’t hear you clearly just now.”
“What do you mean?”
“You don’t need to worry about this,” Tom told her. “I will handle it.”
“Then who is this Bubu?” Jane asked again. “What’s your relationship with her?”
“A friend, the new owner of the kitten.” As he spoke, Tom unlocked his phone. “It must be a video of the kitten.” He then showed her the screen.
Sure enough, it was a video of the kitten.
Jane looked at him skeptically and reminded him, “Grandma is bringing Lisa back to Arkpool City soon. You need to be more mindful.”
“I’m not accepting a blind date,” Tom maintained his stance.
Jane couldn’t understand and looked unusually serious. “Are you planning to dedicate your life to science? You should ask your grandma if she agrees with that.”
Tom Fritz felt an itch on his neck and reached out to scratch it. The uncomfortable feeling spread to his back.
“Son, what’s wrong?” Jane noticed a slight redness on his face. “Are you having an allergic reaction?” She hurriedly stepped forward to check on him. “What did you eat just now?”
Sweet potatoes-Tom Fritz couldn’t eat sweet potatoes, but he didn’t know that.
“I didn’t eat anything special. I’m fine,” Tom told his mother. “I’ll go back to my study now. Don’t worry; I’ve already reviewed Lisa’s information and memorized it. Grandma won’t blame you; your mission is complete.”
With that, he turned and walked out.
Jane still felt uneasy because her son was resistant at heart.
Near noon, Mrs. Fritz returned with Lisa in a Maybach that drove into the beautifully landscaped Fritz Manor.
Wearing a beret, Lisa curiously looked out at the beautiful scenery-the vast sea of roses and the grand buildings-and smiled.
She was finally back and would soon meet her long-admired idol.
The car slowly decelerated and headed towards the large villa.
Mrs. Fritz, with her silver hair, held Lisa’s hand and smiled when she saw the girl’s smile. The old lady’s mood was as bright as a clear sky.
In a few days, there would be a grand engagement ceremony here, something she looked forward to with great anticipation.
Williams and his wife Jane came into the yard along with the butler and some servants. They watched as the car stopped in front of them.
The servants stepped forward to open the car door and greeted the passengers with smiles.
“Mom.”
Williams and Jane were all smiles; it had been a while since they last met.
Mrs. Fritz was particularly happy to see her son and daughter-in-law. She kept holding Lisa’s hand while Lisa directed her gaze at the two elders with a gentle smile, polite and humble.
“Let me introduce you; this is Lisa,” Mrs. Fritz said with satisfaction evident in her tone and expression. “Lisa, these are your future father-in-law and mother-in-law.”
“Hello,” Lisa curtsied slightly, exuding elegance and excellent upbringing.
“Hello, hello! Please come in; you must be tired from such a long flight,” Jane welcomed them warmly. “Rest inside for a bit.”
“Where’s Tom?” Mrs. Fritz asked eagerly as she walked inside with her cane. “Quickly let him come see us.”
