LORD NATHAN’S POV
I could not understand her, what does she mean by she wants to return to the field? That is not possible. We are not going to allow that to happen.
I mean she is just recovering from her illness and could barely gain full control of herself and now she wants to go fight. We already have everything under control, what is hard for her to understand?
“I have been lying down here and doing practically nothing for the past two days. My men are in the field and I have to be there with them too” she persisted.
“What do you mean, my Chamlar? See, you need rest” Chamlee tried to persuade her and make her have a change of mind.
“We can return to the battle, my queen, I, and Chamlee. Stay here and let the servants take proper care of you. You don’t have to fight with us anymore, we are way capable of handling the enemies” I urged.
I hope she listens to us. I know the fight would not be the same without her, but now we are way stronger than our enemies. Their bodies littered the battlefield and I know that they would have no other option but to surrender to us soon.
All she needs now is some rest, very good rest. But she is been too stubborn and would not heed our plea.
“I will come to check on you every time, my queen. Do remain here while we go and bring back the glory for our Land” Chamlee promised.
“No, I cannot underestimate them. I have to be in this fight. See I am strong now. My situation was just as a result of the plenty of blood that I lost but I am replenished now and there is no need to remain here anymore” she replied.
Now I don’t know what else to do. it is not just because of the fight but something within me does not want her in this battle anymore. I have this strong urge to get her to return to Pixolands.
But then what can I do? It is true that she has made me hers but there was very little I can do to contradict the queen. Her word is law.
I was anxious and could not take away the strange feeling that had built up inside of me. I could not do anything to avert this situation.
SCARLET’S POV
I know that they both meant well but what kind of a queen would I be if I left my soldiers in battle all by themselves? Moreover, they fear for nothing. I know I have been down these past days but I am better now. My Chamlee was able to give me back all the strength that I have lost and now I don’t feel weak anymore.
Staying here might just amount to underestimating the enemies and I would not want a repeat of what happened with the Titans.
Nevertheless, I sincerely appreciate the concern of Chamlee and Lord Nathan. It gladdens my heart to know that I have two men who care about me wholeheartedly and are ready to do whatever it takes to see me safe. I hate to go against them, but I hope that come to understand me.
The enemies might take my absence as an opportunity to pull one of their dubious tricks on us. Now I am sure that they cannot match us, but I still do not want to give them any chance at all.
“Very well, my queen, I don’t think arguing with you any further would yield any other result. I would allow you to come with us to battle but you must promise to never fight far from me. You mustn’t leave my side” Chamlee insisted.
“Yes, Chamlar, you must stay where I would be able to keep an eye on you. You must not wander far away from us” Lord Nathan added.
I heaved, their care is beginning to seem to choke me. How the heck would I control where I fight on the battlefield? But then, I just have to agree with them at least to stop the pestering. “Okay, okay, I will make sure to fight by your sides”
Chamlee drew closer to me and said. “I know that you might not like this arrangement, but you should understand that this is the least that we can do for you. You cannot imagine how helpless I felt watching you these past days”
Yes, I understand him very clearly. He only agreed to get intimate with me in such a situation just to save me. He would never want to take advantage of me, not even in the least.
He was my first, and I must confess that it was worth it, every inch of it. I would not have thought of a better person to give my first time to.
He was gentle with me all through and devoted all he had to please me. He was by my side and never left even for once. Not even when Lord Nathan arrived did he agree to take a break. It was as if he was going to die the next minute should anything happen to me.
“That settled, we would leave in the morning” Lord Nathan decided.
“We can leave now, it is just noon” I objected.
“You will have to get completely healed, my Chamlar, I have to be sure of that” Chamlee refused.
“I am well now, why do we have to wait until tomorrow?” I challenged.
Lord Nathan tilted my head to look at him and asked. “Why are you making it difficult to take care of you, my queen?” He looked so worried.

BETA TIM’S POV
We are on the battlefield now, and I don’t know where that woman has disappeared to. Why is it difficult to find her, why is she a disaster?
I could tell that Mildrid was already getting infuriated. We never planned that she would spend this much time here. She was only going to come here, get rid of that bitch and she would be out of here. But now she has been here for over an hour, an overbearing hour.
I must have to calm her before she angrily walks out on me.
“My lady, I am sorry for this. Maybe we should find our way to their camp” I begged as I hastened my steps toward her.
Walking around the battlefield with thousands of fighting soldiers and dead bodies is not a leisure task. Very soon, I knew she was going to get exhausted and angrily walk out on me.
However, it still marveled me about how we could pass so many enemies with none of them stopping to look our way. It was as if we had become invisible to them. Mildrid is truly a great witch.
“This is where we agreed to, Tim. If I should leave here, I doubt you would be able to pay the price.” She replied with her head held up high.
Pay another price? She might as well ask me to overthrow the alpha and place her in his stead. Would I still be able to pay another price? I doubt.
“My lady… if she is not here… she is very noticeable,” I stuttered.
She chuckled and cast me a sinister look. “She must be here, somewhere”
She must be here. This is beginning to look hilarious. Or maybe I should not have brought her with me in the first instance.
I just have to remain calm and see where this leads us to. But I would not put back my sword if she should dare to disappoint me, I will strike at her the very first chance I get. With this thought, I smirked.
