CHAMLEE’S POV
All through the battle, my whole mind was focused on her. I couldn’t help but think she is easy prey to the enemy. Yes, I have every right to think that way since she was just recovering from a terrible ailment and might still be weak inside.
The enemies might notice her weakness and decide to dwell on that to lynch her.
However, she fought as though she had never been out of the fight. She was resilient and fearless. She did not waste any time to take down anyone that was on her way.
But this realization did not make me any more comfortable either. I still fear that something might go wrong. What if she goes into her heat again? I learned that the heat period of a werewolf takes at least three days, but hers was not even completely up to two days.
The heat period makes her vulnerable and helpless and I have never seen her like that before. So what if that happens again? Since heat takes three days, hers might not be over yet.
I have to keep my eyes on her, she must not leave my sight, I must not allow her to.
While my focus was on the queen, an opponent attacked me and was almost about to use his sword on my arm when I turned and flung away from him.
It was a close hit and if I had not gotten a hint of his attack fast enough, he might have gotten me. And detach my left arm from the rest of my body.
I fought him with all I have got, using my sword skillfully. Now they know that the werewolves are venomous and so they focus on the humans. To them, we are easy prey.
It did not take long before I had him lying on the ground, lifeless. I had ripped open his stomach and all his intestines were sprouted on the ground.
My heart skipped a beat as I thought of my queen. I had forgotten to check on her as I fought the enemy that had attacked me.
I looked around for a sign of her, and it did not take long before I saw her wolf engaged in battle with two other wolves. She had shifted to her fight.
It was a great fight and I knew that it would not take long before she had both of the opponents breathless but still I want to go and do this fight with her. She might faint again and so I must not take any chances.
I rushed over to them in a surge of anger. As soon as I got to them, I slammed one of the wolves on the ground causing it to break its back in the process. It let out a loud growl and soon it was struggling for life.
I let it be, it is going to die soon, and so I faced the second wolf.
Stake, which is the wolf of my Chamlar, seeing that I was equal to the task walked away to launch on another wolf. She was accompanied by a servant, carrying her veil. Should she shift back to her human form, her face must never be seen by the enemy.
So lost was I in the fight that I did not know how far my queen had gone.

BETA TIM’S POV
“Let’s go to the other side of the battle” Mildrid ordered.
“But we are just coming back from there. This is a greater side, we should look out for the queen here since you asked us to look here” I grumbled.
I could not understand this witch anymore. She was the one that brought us here just now and we have just arrived and she wants to send us from whence we came from again.
Or is it that she is just intrigued by a real battle and would not want to miss any part of it? She is unbelievable.
“Listen to me, Tim, I don’t have all day” she barked, causing me to startle.
“I… I thought we… we might as well go through here since we are already here” I stammered.
“You said it yourself that she cannot be hidden, she is not here” she replied in spite.
But why is she angry with me? She is the witch here and should know just about everything. She should know where that woman is.
“Yes… my… my lady, we should leave now” I replied nervously.
I am beginning to think that bringing this witch here was a wrong idea. So many of my men had lost their lives under her watch and she did practically nothing to help them.

CHAMLEE’S POV
The fighting around me had gotten tougher and now I have one of my men, Robin, fighting by my side. He came over when he saw how I was attacked by the enemies.
I could tell that they had got to discover who I was and so were out to get me. I should have done something to conceal my identity.
Robin is a great fighter, and he was just what I needed to face the multitude of enemies.
One by one, their bodies and wolves lay dead around me. They were unaware of the power that I now possess. Now I am grateful to the queen for fortifying me with her blood.
The last wolf standing for not very easy prey. It was as if he had the life of a cat. No matter what we did, nothing seemed to get to him.
All I need now is to have him very close to me. The powers that are emanating from me would be enough to weaken him and with that, it will cost nothing to do away with him.
It took Robin and me a very long time before we were finally able to corner him. He was finally helpless before us. He shifted to its human form.
It gladdened my heart to see him this way. He was a hard nut to crack and now I am going to finish him off completely.
We walked around him, Robin, and me, waiting for his next move. He was been careful and did not dare to attack.
Robin charged at him, and getting him on the ground, he used his hands to press his neck hard until he stopped breathing.
I was pleased, it was a great fight.
“My Chamlar… Mildrid…” Robin murmured with his eyes wide open. He was looking far away.
