***LISA’S POV***
I was still wondering what that b*tch of a girl was doing in my man’s house as I saw her climbing down the stairs and sitting at the chair when the Alpha gave me the shock of my life by mentioning her to be Jayden’s mate and the future Luna of Darkmoon’s pack.
“What!!!!!? I shrieked internally my eyes shooting out and she rolled her eyes at me as my eyes went to hers.
“What the fvck is going on Jayden?” I asked him as soon as I got outside the compound and met him getting out of his car.
“What was going on?” He asked raising his brows and I rolled my eyes.
” What do you mean by what was going on Jayden? What was that your parents was saying and what was that b*tch doing here?” I asked and his gaze darkened as he stepped closer to me.
“Repeat what you just said and your blood would spill here. How dare you call my mate names? Are you perhaps out of your mind?” He shrieked and I heard a little gasps at our back. Turning back to see who it was, my anger boiled and I felt like tearing her flesh and feeding them to the wilds.
“Get out of my way please” she pushed me off and got into the car shutting the door as Jayden zoomed off leaving me behind.
Arrrghhh!!!! That would never happen because I would never be alive to see her become the Luna of this pack. That would be over my body.
Not after all this years of being with Jayden, she would come out of nowhere to snatch my man away from me in the name of mate.
Hahahahah!!! She doesn’t know what she has started and I would never give up until either Jayden rejects her or I wipe her out from this surface.
Rhoda! Rhoda!! Rhoda!!!, You don’t know what you have ignited and you won’t know how it will consume you.
“Take me to school!!!” I yell at my father’s driver who was standing there and looking at me pitifully and he hurriedly opened the door for me and scurried into the car, speeding off to school.
RHODA’S POV
I placed my head on my laps humming to the music coming out from my headset as the car zoomed to school.
Jayden had tried talking to me but I ignored him and plugged in my headset after having to hear his meaningless words.
We soon got to the school and he parked at the school’s parking lots. I tried opening my side door and found out it was locked. Looking back at Jayden and raising my brows, he smirked and ignored me getting out of his car and coming towards my side.
He opened the door and I rolled my eyes and got out.
The students instantly rushed towards us as they saw I was the one who got out of the car.
“What!!!”
“Why is Jayden with her?”
“Are they now dating?”
“He even opened the car door for her!!!”
“Look he held her hands!!!!”
“Wow!! They look amazing together!!!!”
“Where is Lisa and why is Jayden with another woman!!!!”
“Maybe he is no longer with Lisa!!!!”
“Jayden is a player, he had obviously slept with her!!!”
“I’m posting this in the school group!!!”
“Such a shameless girl!!!!”
I rolled my eyes at their words and tried walking out but Jayden grabbed my waist and pecked my lips, hugging me. I wriggled out of this hold and glared at him and he smirked.
“What? Can’t I peck and hug my mate huh?” He asked and the students who surrounded us gasped louder.
“His mate?”
He said she is his mate?
She’s so lucky to be his mate!!
Our Jayden is taken *sob *sob!!!
“And I was imagining myself been his *sob *sob!!!
“This is so sad” sob* sob!!
They all sniffed wiping imaginary tears off their face as I rolled my eye and looked up only to lock gaze with Luca.
He stood at the front of my classroom with Rose and Max and he looked agitated as Max was holding his shoulder to avoid him erupting.
I pushed through the crowd of students that gathered at the packing lot as I walked faster towards my classroom, ignoring the little talks made by the students.
Tears slipped down my eyes as I got to Luca’s presence and he pulled me into a tight embrace, stroking my hair and muttering consoling words.
Shortly, I felt a rough pull as I was dragged away from Luca’s body and my head crashed on a heavy chest which was beating furiously. I tried to free myself from this hold but his grip tightened around me the more, blocking my escape route.
“How dare you lay your filthy hands on my mate” He roared and I shivered as the voice was frightening and cold”.
“I’m not your mate Jayden, as long as I haven’t accepted you fully; Don’t get your hopes high” I shrieked successfully getting out of his grip.
“You are mine alone and no one else would have you” He thundered and I frowned anger seething through me.
“Point of correction, I would never be yours so get that into your thick stupid skull”.
“Get away from me for I have a boyfriend who awaits me” I yelled at him as he held my waist preventing me from leaving.
He spun me around and locked his lips with mine, kissing me hungrily and angrily.
“Let me go Jayden” I begged and he used the opportunity to slip his tongue in ravaging my mouth and licking and sucking my tongue angrily.
His hand grasped my butt as he engulfed me in a tight hug and strangely, my anger calmed.
He released me and my cheeks burned red.
“You see for yourself who owns her huh?” He said smirking at Luca.
I rushed into my class mentally slapping myself for being stupid as to melt in his hands.
“But it’s not my fault was it?” I turned to Rose who was already sitting at my side and holding my hands.
“No Rhoda, it’s not your fault that you blushed and melted in his hands, he is your mate Rhoda and it would be nearly impossible to fight him off you” she said and I sighed.
I can’t help it Rose, I feel really useless and I don’t know, I really love Luca and wouldn’t want to hurt him.
“It’s ok, you just have to stay very far away from him and avoid him at all cost if you still want to keep your V. card intact. When the heat period arrives, I don’t know how you would cope Rhoda.
“That doesn’t affect me Rose, I don’t feel the heat period that much so it’s no big deal” I said and she sighed and held my hands.
“That was then Rhoda, you have a mate now and the heat worsens especially when you haven’t been marked” she muttered and I rolled my eyes.
I don’t believe that but if that would be the case, I would try my very best to get him to reject me before the heat period arrives.
***LUCA’S POV****
I had gotten to the school and headed straight to Rhoda’s class to know if she is in already as her number wasn’t going through so I decided to go check her there.
Halfway to her class, a car drove in speedily and parked at the parking lot as Jayden stepped out of it and went to the other side and opened the door, revealing my Rhoda as she stepped out looking very beautiful and dazzling.
The students rushed towards them and i also took little steps but stopped on my track when he pecked and engulfed her in a hug. Anger surged through me as I tried walking up to them but was held down by Max who suddenly appeared from nowhere with Rose.
This wasn’t what I wanted. I can’t let him have Rhoda not after several years of been with her.
I haven’t even gotten the chance to do all this he does.
I shrieked and boiled in anger as Rose looked up to me and started running towards me, pushing through the crowd that surrounded her and asking her questions.
Tears streaked her pretty face as she got to me and I engulfed her in a tight hug, holding her tightly and patting her hair.
I felt a dark aura around me and I raised my head to meet with the angry face of Jayden. I raised my brows at him and he ignored me and harshly pulled Rhoda away from me.

“Get away from me for I have a boyfriend who awaits me” she yelled at him and I grinned feeling proud of her.
Then all of a sudden, he held her waist and spun her around locking his lips with hers and kissing her angrily ignoring my presence and kissing her as if he own her.
She melted at his kiss and my heart burned. How could she do this to me!! Even if he was her mate, couldn’t she atleast avoid him but here she was melting in his hands and who knows if she was kissing him back.
“You see for yourself who owns her huh?” Jayden said and my anger boiled the more as Rhoda ran into her class.
“You would never have Rhoda, that I promise you. You just have to use your time now because soon, I would retaliate and take back what was mine” I glared at him and walked out as his annoying laughter echoed at my back.
