“Spoilt brat daughter of Darkmoon’s Beta. Like boyfriend, like girlfriend!! Birds of the same feathers they say surely flocks together” I mumbled and she glared at me.
“Forget her, let’s unpack and go join the others; Let the potatoes potate” Rose scorned and I laughed out loud enough to anger the b*tch and she stood up stomping out of the room.
Hahahahahahaha!!!!! We laughed and high-fived. If she thinks she could install fear in us as she does to others or if she thinks we would worship and praise her like the students does then she must be out of her mind.
We unpacked our bags and soon joined the others at the field.
“Are you all ready for some mind-blowing task!!!! Miss Brenda our recreational teacher cried out.
“Yesss!!!!! We all yelled anticipating the task. I looked around eye searching for Luca and Max. Just then someone covered my eyes from the back and I smiled inhaling the cologne of my boyfriend.
“Luca” I laughed as he tickled me and released his hold from my eye. I turned to him and a peck landed on my cheek.
I smiled and hugged him, holding his hand as we turned our focus to the teacher who was already giving out orders.
“So as I was saying, we would divide you all in four groups and the tasks are to be done by two people each representing each group.
So for group A, your names are: Philip
Noah
Max
Hannah
Olivier
Rose
Jordan
And then the rest of them she called.
For group B, we have:
Jayden
Williams
Rhoda
Mary
Jake
And the rest of them.
For group C:
Lisa
Luca
Benjamin
James
And the rest of the names.
Hope you all understood and know your group members she said and I frowned.
I don’t like this, how could she put me in same group with that Jayden. None of my friends were in my group.
Lisa was lucky enough to be in the same group with her boyfriend.
This big headed teacher had to place my Luca and Lisa in the same group instead of putting Lisa and Jayden in one and me in Luca’s.
I don’t like this because it seemed that I won’t be getting any peace of mind in this camp as long as I remain in the same group with Jayden.
Rose held my shoulder as she felt my unhappiness. “Don’t be sad just try to stay away from him as much as you can” she said and I nodded.
I glanced at him and our gaze locked, he smirked at me licking the side of his lips.
Manslut I muttered making sure he read my lips. His gaze darkened for a minute and I smiled knowing he had read my lips and understood what I said.
“Okay let’s continue, locate your teammates and stand together let’s start our first game” Miss Brenda said and I sighed waving at Rose as she left with Max to join their teammates.
“Be careful with him” Luca whispered and I nodded. He also left joining his teammates.
I stood for a while thinking and suddenly a hand snaked to my waist, I swiftly turned and beheld the smiling face of Jayden.
He looks cute smiling, if only he wasn’t a Playboy and too full of himself, I would have considered him a friend”
“Fantasizing over me? I could bring your fantasy to reality you know” he said and I swat his hands off me.
“You wish” I said and tried walking out when I dragged me back. “We are in the same group so let’s go together” he said and I frowned.
“Why don’t you go with Jake he is also in our group if you don’t know let me remind you” I said and freed my hands from him walking off.
“Ok now that we are all gathered, each group should select a team leader who would be incharge of picking out members to participate in tasks” Miss Brenda said.
Our group chose Jake to become our team leader and Jayden smirked. I knew he had a plan as he smirked. I just hope it wasn’t a plan that involves me.
“Now that every team had chosen their leader, the leaders should pick out two members from their group she said and the stupid Jake picked Jayden and I .
Now I understood the reason for his smirk and why he was the one who personally picked jake. Nobody argued when he pointed Jake to become the group leader. They had to agree because he was Jayden and no one dares refuse him.
He picked Jake because he wanted him to pair us together for the task. This is so frustrating I yelled in my mind and Reign growled.”Don’t yell at me, it’s just a game” he grumbled and I hissed.
I know it’s just a game but I would prefer to not play than merging with Jayden.
“The chosen participants should come forward” Miss Brenda called out and we went to her.
I heaved a sigh of relief as I saw Rose among the chosen participants and Lisa was among too. I smiled atleast, she would stick to her boyfriend and I was right when she walked up to him standing beside him.
I was a little sad Luca wasn’t chosen but at least Rose is here and the game won’t be as frustrating as it would be if any of my friends wasn’t among.
“The task is to find a diamond which is hidden somewhere in the woods over there she said pointing at the path I spotted when we arrived at first.
“Good” I would use the opportunity to examine the woods so when I shift later, I can explore without getting lost.
“The chosen participants of this task can all go find the diamond, note that you all have 1hr to find it and return here” she said and blew the whistle indicating our time has started ticking.
I held Rose hand as we both walk into the woods in search for the diamond.
I was already getting tired as there was no diamond in sight after searching for almost 40mins.
I looked back but couldn’t find Rose behind. I thought she was following me behind just now” I thought looking around for her.
“Rose!!! I screamed searching the bushes but no sign of her anywhere.
I sighed and sat down laying my back against a tree as I breathe in. I would just rest for a while then go back to the field.
Since there was no diamond in here or maybe something had already swallowed it and here we are looking for it.
I closed my eyes in tiredness as the tree branches blew breeze on me calming me down as sleep overtook me.
