JAYDEN’S POV
I wondered lazily in the woods as I sighed tiredly.
I’ve been roaming around here for close to an hour not that I was searching for any diamond. I just wanted to be with Rhoda, that was why I picked Jack to lead the team as I knew he would point out Rhoda and I to represent the group.
I lost track of her as we entered the woods because Lisa was following me around and sticking her ugly face at me.
“What do you want Lisa?” I had ask her after she followed me for 30 mins.
“Why are you following me around? Can’t you go find your team members” I asked her and she frowned.
“Jayden I’m sorry if I did anything to make you hate me, I really love and want you back” she said and I sneered at her.
“Love? What does that mean? I asked peering at her face disdainfully.
“Jay…”she tried calling and I cut her off. “Finish that name and I would cut off your tongue” I scorned and continue walking ignoring her.
I got to a two path-way and stopped waiting for Lisa to pass but she didn’t.
Lisa get out of my back and join your teammates, if you dare follow me again, I would kill you here and throw your body to that river” I said pointing at the river and she flinched running off.
“Stupid” I muttered turning back to return to the field when I spotted Rhoda sleeping with her back laid on a tree.
“his girl would never seize to amaze me, instead of searching for the diamond, she preferred to sleep here in the bush.
What if something had harmed her, didn’t she know sleeping here is dangerous yet she laid carelessly sleeping and not minding if danger was coming her way.
I walked towards her furiously. I really don’t understand why I am mad. was it for sleeping ignoring the task or was I mad at her for sleeping in a bush exposing herself to danger.
Whichever way, I got closer to her and got drowned to her beauty.
Her long black hair scattered all over her face and shoulder. I advanced and push the off slightly revealing the peaceful sleeping beauty.
Her face as calm as the breeze blowing, her eyelash long and fluttered as a fly flew pass them. Her small pink lips was slightly opened as she snores gently. Even her snoring, I found it cute.
She looked as calm as an angel when she sleeps unlike the fierce lion she was when awake.
I stare at her for a while and when I heard the bell rang indicating the end of our search, I tapped her and her eyes blinked fluttering open. It widened immediately she saw me and she spranged up looking around the environment.
“What are you doing here? She asked and I scoffed.
“Really? Is this the diamond you were supposed to be searching for? I asked her and she pouted her little lips.
“I got tired and decided to rest, didn’t know when I got carried away and slept; I’m sorry” she said and I was forced to laugh.
“What’s funny?” She asked still pouting and I laughed more.
Damn I feel like dragging her and kissing her lips so fiercely.
“You look like a kitten when you pout, so cute that I want to pin you down on this tree and kiss the hell out of you” I said and her eyes shot up.
She looked around and on seeing no one but us, she moved back and ran off.
“Hahahahahahaha!!!” Scaredy cat. I wasn’t planning to do anything to her though.
I smiled and just then, a bright light shoned in my eye and I covered my eye immediately.
I looked down on the spot Rhoda sat as that was where the light came from. I gasped as I saw the diamond we were looking for Lying on the floor.
This lady was actually sitting on the diamond we all had been looking for over an hour now, sleeping.
I picked it up and walked back to field.
RHODA’S POV
I felt a tap on my shoulder and I squinted my eyes and a shadow was standing before me. I spranged up on seeing it was Jayden.
I looked around my environment and saw I was still in the woods and by the tree I sat to rest. So I dozed off here and now Jayden caught me sleeping. How am I sure he won’t report me.
“What are you doing here? I asked him and he frowned.
“Is this the diamond you were supposed to be searching for? He asked and I could feel he was pissed.
“Was he going to report me to the teacher? I thought as I pouted my lips.
“I got tired and decided to rest, didn’t know when I got carried away and slept; I’m sorry” I said and he bursted out laughing.
“What’s funny?” I asked confused still pouting my lips and he continued laughed.
I think he had gone insane because I don’t understand what was funny at why he was laughing.
“You look like a kitten when you pout, so cute that I want to pin you down on this tree and kiss the hell out of you” he said and her eyes shot up.
“What the hell!!!!” I gasped at his word. I looked around and on seeing no one but us, I quickly moved back and ran off.
I got to the field and met Rose’s worried face as she looked around the field in search of me.
I went towards her hugging her from behind as she turned back and heaved a sigh of relief.
“Where have you been Rhoda? I searched everywhere from you and but you were no where to be found. Luca and Max are looking for you as we speak, why didn’t you go with your phone? she queried and I sighed and told her all that happened.
“Attention all!!! Miss Brenda called out drawing our attention towards her.
The diamond has been found and a member from Group B found it she said raising the diamond.
Huh? When did Jayden found the diamond I thought but shrugged it off. Maybe it was before he came to wake me up.
Jayden Luther found the diamond she yelled and the students screamed out.

“Lisa is so lucky to be your girlfriend!!!
“I wish he could look at me!!!
I rolled my eyes at their different words as they all praise Jayden screaming. I knew if it had been someone else who found the diamond, there wouldn’t be so much commotion. But just because it was Jayden, they are screaming and shouting.
“You can all retire to your tent and freshen up dinner would soon be served” she said and we all dispersed.
