“Rosiley, don’t get angry. I will change.” This was probably the first time Yunis had spoken so humbly to her.
In the past, she had always been his follower, almost completely obedient to his every whim and word. She regarded him totally as the center of her life.
This was because she thought he had loved her then.
But in the end, it had all turned out to be a joke.
When she thought of this, Rosiley’s eyes turned colder and colder.
Rosiley knew very well why Yunis was here. Wasn’t it because she was now the chairperson of the Group?
Trying to win back her heart? He simply could not give up the Group!
“Yunis, are you sincerely trying to win back my heart?” Rosiley stared at him.
“Of course I am.” Yunis almost blurted this out, not hesitating in the least.
Rosiley raised her eyebrows. “Then you have to prove it to me.”
“How?”
“How?” A bizarre smile appeared around the corners of Rosiley’s lips.
Yunis immediately had a bad feeling.
Sure enough, he heard her say slowly, “If you jump down that bridge across the river. I will believe your sincerity.”
“Jump off that bridge across the river?” Yunis’s facial complexion suddenly paled.
When she saw his face turn pale, Rosiley smiled a little. “Why? You don’t dare?”
Yunis did not answer, merely staring straight at her.
Rosiley retracted her smile and enunciated coldly and clearly, word by word. “If you don’t dare, don’t present yourself to me. We no longer have anything to do with each other. You’d better stop disturbing my life.”
After saying this, she no longer looked at him. She walked past him and left without looking back.
“Nothing to do with each other?”
Yunis narrowed his eyes. He would never allow such a thing to happen.
After that, he turned and ran after Rosiley, grabbing her wrist.
Rosiley was forced to stop. She turned around and glared angrily at him. “Yunis, what are you doing?”
Yunis smiled a genial smile. “I would like you to have dinner with me.”
“Have dinner with you?” Rosiley was so enraged that she started laughing. “Yunis, are you an amnesiac? Why should I have dinner with you?”
“Because you’re my fiancée.” Immediately after that, Yunis pulled her towards his car.
“Yunis, are you mad? Our engagement has long been called off!” Rosiley struggled strenuously, trying to break free from his clutches.
But he was far too strong and she was no match for his strength.
Seeing his car get closer and closer, Rosiley had to first calm herself down, and then her mind started to race rapidly. How could she break free from him?
She knew very well that once she got into his car, what followed would not be as simple as a plain dinner.
At this moment, a loud, harsh voice was heard.
“Yunis! What are you doing?”
Rosiley and Yunis turned back their heads simultaneously in the direction of that voice. They saw Corey charging angrily towards them.
“Corey… ” At that instant when she saw Corey, Rosiley heaved a huge sigh of relief. She knew that she was saved.
Corey had not expected this infuriating scene the moment he stepped out of the door. He did not even dare to imagine what would have befallen his sister-in-law had he turned up late. Would Yunis have taken her away?
He ran over and punched Yunis in the face before the latter could even react.
Yunis was caught so off guard that he had no choice but to release Rosiley, taking a few steps backwards.
“sister-in-law, are you alright?” Corey pulled Rosiley behind him and asked anxiously.
“I’m fine.” Rosiley shook her head slightly.
