Felix’s p. o. v
I was joking when I had requested for a glass of whisky, but after hearing the whole story, I seriously wanted one.
“Amelia, can I have a glass of whisky right now?” I asked.
“Sure.” She answered then moved to the whisky table which was at the corner of the room.
“Felix, do you have any plans or suggestions of what we should do?” Ian asked in his chair.
“Oh let me think. The alpha king’s bite is deadly to me and compared to how long I have lived on this damn earth, he has stayed twice as long isn’t it?” I asked sarcastically as Ian’s expression turned cold.
“You know, in times like these you shouldn’t act like a total bitch, you are supposed to be wise with your words.” He spat.
I glared at him and shifted my gaze to Amelia who was approaching me with a glass of whisky.
She was about to hand it to me when Chase got it from her hand with a smile.
“What are you doing right now?” I asked in nearly a whisper.
“Bite down.” He answered.
“What?” I asked, confused over what he meant.
He extended his hand to me and moved his wrist to my lips.
“Bite.” He instructed.
I didn’t want us to argue over what he was about to do or Ian to think weirdly about us. I leaned in and grabbed his hand, biting down on his wrist.
The scent of delicious blood filled the room and it made my mouth watery.
I pulled back and swallowed hard, I wasn’t going to feed from him in front of others no. Whenever I drank from him, he made such an erotic expression on his face and sexy noises that aroused me badly. I hated the idea of anyone besides me seeing him in that state, he was mine and mine alone.
I watched as he moved his clenched hand to the glass and let his blood drip in the glass.
I slightly shook my head to snap myself out of the hunger I was beginning to feel, then looked at Ian who was stunned at what was happening.
“Ian,” I called softly to get his attention.
“You know, I was wondering why you would come with a guy in my pack, now I know why. Is he like your food?” He asked, annoying me.
“Do you think of me as a total jerk who would bring food along to an important meeting?” I asked in disrespect.
“Yes, I do.” He answered.
I was about to spit crap in his face when Chase grabbed my hand and put the glass in it.
“It will help you calm down.” He whispered softly.
I looked at the red whisky glass then at his wrist which was still bleeding.
“What about your hand?” I asked in concern.
“It will be fine, I’ll heal within a few minutes.” He answered as I sighed in defeat then took a sip from the glass.
My body instantly relaxed and a smile formed across my face.
His blood was truly the best there was in all the territories. It made me feel at peace and gave me the necessary relaxation I needed.
“Alpha, I’m sorry for not introducing myself earlier. My name is Chase, I am a fairy. You must have seen me before that time you were badly injured. If you are wondering what my relationship is with Felix then I will gladly answer that, I am her partner.” He answered as I almost choked on the liquor.
“Is that so?” Ian asked with a smirk.
“Yes.” Chase answered calmly.
“Did you have to tell him all that?” I asked in a low whisper.
“Yes, he needed to know.” He answered proudly.
“Whatever.” I said then drank from my glass again.
“Now Alpha if you will allow me, I have a suggestion over the coming Alpha king.” He said as Ian smiled.
“Sure, do go ahead.” He answered.
“If we allowed the alpha king to come here to your pack, a lot of your pack members would die in your name and that would be very sad. This whole pack would be destroyed in the process as well. That’s why I suggest you, your Luna, and a few strong warriors leave this place.” He said.
“What the fuck.” I spat.
“Hear me out. There are a few territories that aren’t occupied by any beings or humans, we can use that as a battlefield. I am strong enough to make a barrier that would trap the Alpha king, all we have to do when he comes is to make him cross it. There, Lee will take over by lifting the barrier that will separate him from his army. In that barrier, you, Amelia, and Felix will work on taking him down. The barrier will only go down if either me or Lee is injured, that’s when those warriors will come in. They will be protecting us while we maintain the barrier. And also, I’ll talk to Lee and see if there is a spell that can cast an illusion on the Alpha king. Instead of him seeing Amelia alone, the spell will make him see any female as her, that way he loses his mind and goes crazy.” He said.
My mouth was wide open and my eyes widened in shock.
Where the fuck did all that come from!. Did he plan all this shit while we were driving to Ian’s pack!.
“That sounds pretty amazing, your plan sure does sound great.” Ian answered with a smile.
“Yes it does, but will Jeannie and Uncle agree with it? I’m sure they will want to join in no matter what.” Amelia said.
She was right, there was no way Jeannie was going to let Lee’s life be in danger.
“You know, you are right. But I didn’t want to involve those two because the fight could be dangerous for them.” I answered honestly.
“Yes it would, but you know us, we always have each other’s back, that’s what family does. So if they want to join in and fight beside us, let them.” Chase answered strongly.
I quickly drank from the glass and looked ahead.
He was not only looking hot whenever he was serious. He was sounding so fucking hot as well.
“Then it is settled, I will send Logan, the twins, and Blade to go ahead in search of a good territory we could use as a battlefield. Once they are successful, they will get a few more men to build two to three cottages where we will stay and wait.” Ian answered.
“Don’t worry alpha, part of why I came here is because there is a way we can tell if the alpha king has started off. All your Luna needs to do is give me her hand and close her eyes. Through her, I can trace and pinpoint exactly where he is.” He said.
I turned and looked at him with a raised brow.
“Was he always this intelligent and cooperative?” I asked myself in shock.
The man next to me wasn’t the Chase I knew, he was the unique version of what most girls and women would kill for.
“Sure thing, just don’t cause her any pain.” Ian answered.
“It won’t hurt a bit.” Chase answered with a smile.
“Damn.” Was all I could say.
