“Quick, get out of the way!” Tommy shouted, and then he, The Scholar, and Annalise quickly dodged to the side.
Fortunately, they moved fast enough to avoid the attack.
After steadying herself, Annalise’s eyes narrowed as she channeled her full strength into her sword, unleashing her most powerful move against the giant beast. A sword strike tore through the void, creating a nearly thousand-meter-long black rift aimed at the beast’s head. The speed was incredible; before the beast could react, the sword light had already flashed past its head. However, to Annalise’s shock, her strongest strike only left a shallow cut on the beast’s head. That was all!
“So exaggerated?!” Annalise couldn’t help but exclaim.
At the same time, The Scholar’s blade struck the beast’s waist without any resistance. The result was no different from Annalise’s strike, only leaving a shallow cut on the beast’s body with no other impact.
“So exaggerated?” The Scholar’s pupils slightly contracted.
On the other side, Tommy also made his move with full strength, forming a long spear of Chi power with both hands. The spear was pitch black and surrounded by flickering lightning.
In the next moment, the spear, carrying the force of thunder, shot towards the beast’s eye. To Tommy’s extreme shock, just as the spear reached the beast’s eye, it closed its eyes, and the spear shattered upon impact with its eyelid. The beast then reopened its blood-red eyes, showing no signs of injury.
The trio’s attacks seemed to have angered the beast. Its aura exploded like a flood, instantly turning the surrounding trees and rocks into powder. It then charged towards them at full speed, spewing violent gusts of wind like tornadoes.
“Three seniors, get out of the way!” Billy’s voice reached their ears.
As he spoke, Billy quickly flashed over from behind and took out a Green Array Talisman.
Once activated, a powerful aura swept through the area, and the beast found itself in a mist-filled space.
Hundreds of arrows formed from water vapor in the air shot towards the beast at high speed. Despite being reinforced by the array, these arrows still posed no threat to the beast. They fell to the ground upon impact without causing any harm.
Unable to find its target, the beast rampaged through the array like a mad creature, causing chaos in the space.
“Three seniors, are you alright?” Billy asked Tommy and the others from outside the array.
He had observed their battle with the beast and knew that their current strength was insufficient to harm it. Without activating the Array Talisman, this single beast could end their journey here.
“We’re fine!” The Scholar replied with a slightly serious expression. “I didn’t expect to encounter such a fierce beast right after entering. This Silent Ruins Sky Realm truly lives up to its name!”
“Boss, this place is indeed dangerous. If we proceed like this, our chances of survival are slim,” Casey added.
“Yes,” Billy nodded slightly. He had also realized this. Initially, he had hoped to explore deeper and get a general understanding of the Silent Ruins Sky Realm. However, encountering such a formidable beast so soon forced him to reconsider their plans.
“Mr. Billy, do you have any plans?” The Scholar asked Billy.
“Three seniors, would you be interested in exploring Nine Dragons Cauldron Space?” Billy asked after some thought.
“Nine Dragons Cauldron Space?” The three were slightly taken aback.
“The Nine Dragons Cauldron contains its own space. I call it Nine Dragons Cauldron Space,” Billy explained with a smile.
“We can go there?” The Scholar was surprised.
Among the three, only he knew the mysteries of Nine Dragons Cauldron Space. He had witnessed Billy and his group stay inside for about twenty days and come out having advanced two or three levels each. Undoubtedly, that space was extraordinary.
“Of course!” Billy smiled again and continued, “I want to take everyone into Nine Dragons Cauldron Space for about a month to improve our cultivation first.”
“Sounds good!” The Scholar nodded and looked at Tommy. “What do you think? Want to check it out?”
“If we can go, let’s go!” Tommy nodded in agreement. “I also want to see what kind of world exists inside the top-ranked Sacred Object, Nine Dragons Cauldron!”
“Alright!” Billy responded.
He then summoned Nine Dragons Cauldron and led everyone into Nine Dragons Cauldron Space. After everyone entered, Billy shrank Nine Dragons Cauldron to half the size of a fist and hid it deep within a pile of rubble in the forest. Anyone passing by would never know that such a treasure was hidden there.
“The spiritual energy concentration here is so high!” The Scholar couldn’t help but exclaim after entering Nine Dragons Cauldron Space.
“This place is extraordinary!” Annalise added. “Not only is the spiritual energy concentration high, but if I’m not mistaken, there are many energy sources moving around in this space.”
“Senior Annalise, you can sense that too?” White Tiger responded.
As they spoke, a red energy talisman appeared not far away.
“Senior Annalise, that’s one of those energy sources you mentioned!” White Tiger pointed at the talisman.
He then explained everything they knew about Nine Dragons Cauldron Space to Tommy and the others.
“I see!” The Scholar responded after hearing White Tiger’s explanation. “No wonder your cultivation improves so quickly each time you come here!”
“Three seniors, let’s move further inside!” Billy said as he led everyone forward.
The outer area’s energy talismans had mostly been absorbed during their previous visits, leaving only a few red talismans occasionally visible. For their current cultivation levels, these low-level energy talismans had minimal effect on their progress.
As they ventured deeper, more talismans appeared in the air, including orange and yellow ones. After walking for a while longer, the mist in the air thickened, reducing visibility significantly.
“By the way, Boss, where are Purple Spirit and White Feather? Aren’t they here?” Azure Dragon asked Billy.
“Purple Spirit mentioned taking White Feather for a walk around here but didn’t say where they were going,” Billy replied.
After they forced that first-rank Supreme Ancestry Realm elder to self-destruct together, Purple Spirit had told Billy that she wanted to explore deeper since the outer area’s spiritual energy and talismans were becoming scarce.
“Boss, can’t you sense them?” Azure Dragon asked again.
“No,” Billy shook his head. “The denser the mist, the more it obstructs spiritual power.”
“Alright,” Azure Dragon shrugged and continued, “Boss, we stopped around here last time. Should we go further this time?”
“Boss, let’s go further!” Stout suggested. “The outer area’s energy talismans are no longer sufficient for our cultivation.”
“Alright,” Billy nodded. “Everyone be careful!”
With that, he led them deeper into Nine Dragons Cauldron Space.
