“Elder Tommy, do you know what kind of beast this is?” Stout asked Tommy.
“No idea!” Tommy shook his head. “Most of the beasts here don’t belong to the sixth-tier star domain. They appeared suddenly along with those uninvited guests years ago. Many of these beasts have never been seen before.”
“Can you determine its level?” Stout asked again.
“I’m not sure about the exact level, but its combat power should be enough to rival the mid-stage of the Entering Ancestry Realm!” Tommy replied. “Moreover, its defensive ability is much stronger than warriors of the same level. To kill it, you would probably need someone at least in the late stage of the Entering Ancestry Realm or early stage of the Holy Ancestry Realm!”
“Really?” Stout’s eyes lit up. “Wouldn’t its beast core be extremely valuable?”
Casey and the others: Stout, this place is full of dangers. We don’t even know if we can make it out alive, and you’re already thinking about beast cores!?
At that moment, the beast launched another attack, leaping forward with its powerful hind legs. This time, its target was the plump Xuan.
“Elder Tommy, save me!” Stout ran behind Tommy to hide.
Tommy then launched an attack that sent the beast flying, crashing heavily onto a mountainside two or three hundred meters away. It twitched a few times before lying still.
“Wow, you’re amazing, senior!” Stout exclaimed as he walked toward the fallen beast with a curved blade in hand.
Howls echoed from both sides of the forest as Stout took a few steps forward. The trees on both sides shook violently, creating a much larger commotion than before.
“Stout, come back!” Billy said sternly.
Realizing the danger, Stout quickly ran back.
“Opal, lead everyone to retreat!” Billy instructed.
“Got it!” Opal nodded and led the group to retreat.
Suddenly, over a dozen dark shadows leaped out from both sides of the forest. Each one was larger and more imposing than the previous beast.
Billy frowned slightly and flipped his wrist, sending a Heavenly Fury Slash towards one of the beasts on the right.
After the blade light passed, a giant beast head fell to the ground, blood and flesh splattered everywhere. The massive body crashed heavily to the ground, creating a huge pit.
Meanwhile, Tommy and two others also attacked simultaneously. Although these beasts were strong, they were too weak in front of the three of them. In less than five minutes, all but one of the beasts lay dead on the ground; one managed to escape.
“We’ve struck it rich!” Stout drooled as he looked at the high-level beasts lying on the ground.
About fifteen minutes later, with the help of Judge and Soul Chaser, they collected all the beast cores from the fallen beasts. Then, they continued their journey.
“Elder Tommy, do you know what level the strongest beast here is?” Stout asked as they walked.
Judging by his expression, he was clearly eyeing higher-level beast cores!
“Stout, you’d better pray you don’t encounter such a beast. Otherwise, it won’t be you taking its beast core; you’ll become its meal!” Felicia retorted.
“I’m not thinking about its beast core; I’m just curious!” Stout smacked his lips.
“Yeah, right!” Felicia rolled her eyes at him.
“I don’t know what the strongest level is,” Tommy shook his head. “But I estimate its combat power could rival that of a warrior in the early stage of the Supreme Ancestry Realm!”
“Supreme Ancestry Realm?” Stout exclaimed. “Isn’t that a bit exaggerated?”
“It might even be stronger!” Tommy added.
“Alright then,” Stout shrugged.
“We might have a big one coming!” After walking for a while longer, The Scholar frowned slightly and spoke up.
“Senior, what do you mean by ‘big one’?” White Tiger asked.
Before White Tiger’s words had faded, a deep rumbling sound reached everyone’s ears. At the same time, they felt the ground begin to shake like an earthquake.
“What’s going on?” White Tiger and others were puzzled.
They looked around but saw nothing unusual except for the forest surrounding them.
“Be careful!” Billy frowned slightly.
“Got it!” Everyone responded simultaneously.
Suddenly, there was a huge commotion from the forest ahead on their left. It was as if giant boulders were rolling down from a mountain top. Towering trees fell one after another with no resistance, causing the ground to shake and rocks and tree trunks to be thrown into the air.
Such a scene was unprecedented!
Soon after, an earth-shattering roar echoed in their ears, deafening them.
Everyone turned to look in that direction.
Even Billy couldn’t help but gasp in shock along with everyone else.
It was a giant beast!
It looked similar to the previous beasts but was much larger in size!
At a rough estimate, it was at least two hundred meters long from head to tail. Just its head alone was as big as an adult elephant.
Billy and his group had encountered many high-level flying beasts on their journey from Sky City but had never seen such a gigantic beast before.
It was truly astonishing!
“Holy crap, this is too much!” Judge cursed.
“Could it be a mutated beast?” Soul Chaser shouted.
“Have you three seniors ever seen anything like this before?” White Tiger asked Tommy and the other two elders.
“No!” They shook their heads simultaneously.
“Can you determine its combat power?” White Tiger asked again.
“We can’t pinpoint it exactly,” The Scholar replied gravely. “But it’s likely at least comparable to a False Supreme Ancestry Realm warrior!”
“No way?!” White Tiger and others exclaimed simultaneously.
“Mr. Billy, lead everyone to retreat!” Tommy said. “The three of us will handle it!”
“Be careful, seniors!” Billy said before leading everyone a kilometer away.
At that moment, the giant beast opened its mouth and spewed out a gust of wind like a hurricane towards Tommy and the other two elders.
“Attack!” Tommy commanded.
As he spoke, he formed seals with his hands and launched a powerful attack to counter the wind.
The Scholar and Annalise also unleashed their full strength attacks simultaneously.
The deafening explosion shook the void and caused it to crack as if it were about to collapse at any moment. The powerful shockwave carried immense energy, sending Tommy and his companions flying a kilometer away while they each spat out blood. Their breaths were chaotic and unstable.
In contrast, the giant beast only retreated a few hundred meters under the impact but showed no other signs of injury.
Howling again, it unleashed another gust of wind towards Tommy and his companions, causing chaos in the void like a raging storm.
