“How do you know this place so well?” Alex Long asked, looking at the other person.
“Didn’t I tell you? I’ve lived for over a thousand years. It’s not too hard to gather some information,” Enchantress replied with a faint smile.
“How big is this place?” Frostblade inquired.
“Very big!” Enchantress responded. “If I had to compare, it’s at least half the size of Silent Ruins.”
“Really?” The group was surprised.
Although they hadn’t had the chance to fully explore Silent Ruins, they had a rough idea of its size, and it was definitely not small.
Silent Ruins was the base of Asura City, Sky Realm, and Enchant Realm, and besides them, there were nearly a hundred other cities.
Moreover, just flying between the three main bases of Asura City would take dozens of hours!
And this sealed space was said to be half the size of Silent Ruins, which was astonishing!
What level of power would it take to seal such a vast space?
“You’ll know if I’m telling the truth once you get familiar with this place,” Enchantress said.
She then turned to Billy.
“Mr. Billy, you’ve now entered Silent Ruins Sky Realm, and I’ve given you information about Sanaa. It’s time for you to fulfill your promise.”
“Your acting needs some work,” Billy said, narrowing his eyes at her.
“Acting?” Stout was puzzled, and Judge and the others were equally confused.
“I don’t understand what you mean, Mr. Billy,” Enchantress replied.
“If I’m not mistaken, from the beginning, you never intended to take the Skystone from me by force, did you?” Billy continued, looking at her.
“Especially after that old man self-destructed outside the black door. You should have realized that if I changed my mind and didn’t give you the Skystone, there was nothing you could do about it.”
“But from start to finish, you never showed any concern about this. You came in with us as if nothing happened and even kindly told us about Sanaa.”
“This isn’t normal, is it?”
Unusual circumstances often indicate something amiss!
As he said, this wasn’t normal!
He just hadn’t figured out why yet.
“Mr. Billy, are you overthinking this?” Enchantress continued.
“I really couldn’t take the Skystone from you by force, which is why I proposed cooperation.”
“I brought you into Silent Ruins Sky Realm to find Sanaa. Then you give me the Skystone, and we both get what we want without owing each other anything.”
“Are you reconsidering now?”
“What if I don’t give you the Skystone?” Billy asked, staring intently at her.
He clearly didn’t believe her words!
If Enchantress were such a simple woman, she would have died over a thousand years ago!
“I know I’m no match for you. If you truly refuse to give it to me, there’s nothing I can do,” Enchantress responded calmly.
“But I suggest Mr. Billy keep his word. Otherwise, there might be consequences you don’t want to see…”
“I know you have some backup plan. I’m just curious about what it is,” Billy said, narrowing his eyes. “Did you make some agreement with someone here?”
“I don’t understand what you mean, Mr. Billy,” Enchantress replied calmly.
“Don’t understand?” Billy narrowed his eyes further.
“If I’m not mistaken, your primary goal was to lure me into Silent Ruins Sky Realm, right?”
“For you, getting the Skystone would be a bonus. If not, it doesn’t matter! Because once I’m in here, the Skystone is as good as yours. I won’t be able to leave here alive, right?”
“Hmm?” Casey and the others were taken aback by his words.
This seemed highly plausible.
“Mr. Billy, you’re overcomplicating things!” Enchantress smiled faintly. “You only need to consider one thing: whether you’re willing to give me the Nine Dragons Cauldron and Skystone voluntarily!”
“What if I’m not willing?” Billy continued.
“I never thought Mr. Billy would easily hand over the Nine Dragons Cauldron and Skystone,” Enchantress smiled again. “In that case, let’s leave it at that for now. We’ll meet again. Goodbye!”
With that, she flashed to the left and flew away.
“Trying to run?” Azure Dragon and the others prepared to act.
“You can’t stop her. Let her go!” Billy said.
Enchantress was in the False Supreme Ancestry Realm; unless he activated Heavenly Xuan Space, he couldn’t keep her here.
“Mr. Billy, you might be right!” The Scholar said after examining the stone cave entrance.
“What do you mean?” Casey and the others asked simultaneously.
“There’s an extra barrier here. It’s likely created by someone inside,” The Scholar responded.
“Really?” They walked over to check and indeed found an additional barrier-like layer.
White Tiger and Azure Dragon tried to break it with their weapons but to no avail. Even Annalise’s full-strength sword strike only made it tremble slightly.
Clearly, brute force wouldn’t break this barrier!
“It seems Enchantress did make some agreement with someone inside!” The Scholar continued.
“As Mr. Billy said, she probably never intended to take the Nine Dragons Cauldron and Skystone by herself. Her goal was just to lure Mr. Billy into Silent Ruins Sky Realm!”
“Most likely!” Azure Dragon agreed.
“Billy Boy, any plans? Should we follow this path and see where it leads?” Amber asked Billy.
“Hmm!” Billy nodded after a brief thought.
The exit was sealed; they couldn’t leave even if they wanted to. Besides, he wanted to understand this world better!
The group then followed the stone path forward.
They didn’t fly but walked cautiously since being in an unknown and dangerous environment required careful steps for survival.
A beast’s roar suddenly echoed from the forest on their right. Trees swayed violently as if something massive was crashing through them.
“What kind of beast makes such a commotion?” Judge wondered aloud.
Before he could finish his sentence, a huge shadow leaped at them like a small mountain.
“Looking for death!” Ian Blade frowned and slashed out with his large blade.
After a loud thud, Ian Blade was sent flying back a hundred meters, spitting out blood from the impact.
The beast fell to the ground but showed no signs of injury from Ian Blade’s strike.
The beast resembled a leopard but was twice the size of an adult elephant with a single horn on its head and sharp fangs.
“Ian, are you okay?” Billy asked Ian Blade.
“I’m fine!” Ian Blade wiped the blood from his mouth and shook his head. “Be careful; this beast is no joke!”
