Corey let down his guard and thought carefully for a moment. Then, he said, “I could agree to help you, but I have conditions of my own.”
“What are they?” Ying Xiaoxiao could not wait to find out.
“I hope you can be more lady-like from now on, and don’t be so ruthless. Having such a bad temper will make you age faster!” Corey obviously did not have any actual conditions. Instead, he just wanted to tease her.
Ying Xiaoxiao squinted with a hint of fierceness. “Corey, is it because I haven’t been so ruthless with you today that you’re simply not used to it?”
Corey nodded nonchalantly. “It’s true that I’m not used to it, but…”
He smiled and said, “You’re cuter this way.”
Ying Xiaoxiao did not expect to hear him say that. She was surprised, and she could not stop a blush from creeping up her fair face.
She coughed a little to disguise her shyness and asked impatiently, “So tell me! Will you help me or not?”
“I will!” Corey raised his eyebrows slightly. “Considering your sincerity, and the fact that my name has already been written on the contract, I’d feel bad if I didn’t help you this time.”
since he was willing to help, Ying Xiaoxiao’s beautiful face instantly brightened up. She quickly took out the contract again and laid it on the table. She grabbed a pen and slapped it down on top. “What you said might not count, so you’d better sign your name on the contract to seal the deal.”
Corey raised his brows, and without further ado, he picked up the pen and signed his name.
“Is this okay?” he asked.
“Yes, that’s totally okay.” Ying Xiaoxiao picked up the contract. When her eyes fell on his vigorous, powerful signature, she could hardly hold back her smile.
“If you keep smiling like that, your mouth will crack,” Corey said mockingly.
Was it really necessary for her to smile like this, just because he was willing to help her?
Ying Xiaoxiao folded the contract carefully before putting it back into her bag meticulously, as if it were something truly precious.
Corey was truly at a loss for words.
Ying Xiao raised her eyebrows in satisfaction, and then she extended her hand to him. “It is a pleasure to cooperate with you.”
“Hopefully so.” In contrast to her joy, Corey looked rather indifferent.
Ying Xiaoxiao did not care though, as long as he was willing to help, nothing else mattered.

Rosiley woke up from a sound, deep sleep. It was already dark outside the window.
No one was beside her, and the sheets were cold.
This meant that Sachin had gotten up a long time ago.
She quickly got up and washed in a rush before running downstairs.
She thought Sachin would be there, but she could not find him anywhere.
Had he gone out?
As she was wondering where he was, Auntie Wu came out of the dining room and came over as soon as she saw her.
“Madam, you’re awake. Are you hungry?” Auntie Wu asked with concern.
“I’m fine.” Rosiley looked around, and then she asked, “Auntie Wu, where is Sachin?”
“The Master said he had to go and handle something at the company.”
Working overtime again?
Rosiley frowned. He had worked overtime yesterday, and then he had been woken up early to go to the hospital with her… he must be exhausted by now.
But he was going to work overtime again!
He really was not taking his health seriously!
No way! It was so late already, so she decided to ask him to come home to rest as soon as possible.
She then turned to run upstairs to make the phone call so that she could get the workaholic home!
