“Yes!” Harold Jefferson stood up immediately without wasting any words. For him, dealing with a few thugs didn’t require Chris Shelby’s intervention; he could handle it alone.
Seeing Harold Jefferson, the thugs’ faces turned serious. They couldn’t help it-Harold Jefferson was just too massive. Standing at six foot three with bulging muscles, he exuded an intimidating presence.
“Get lost, all of you! Don’t make me use force!” Harold Jefferson looked at the thugs with disdain.
“Screw you! Just because you’re big doesn’t mean we’re afraid of you. Brothers, let’s take him down!” With that, the thugs charged at Harold Jefferson, wielding beer bottles.
Harold Jefferson didn’t waste any time and rushed forward. Bang! Bang! Bang! In a few loud crashes, the thugs were knocked to the ground by Harold Jefferson.
Harold Jefferson was a Grandmaster-level practitioner. Teaching a few thugs a lesson was hardly a challenge for him. After dinner, everyone returned to the villa to rest. Medusa naturally moved into Cloud Bay to live with Chris Shelby and the others. After all, Cloud Bay was large enough with plenty of rooms to accommodate more people.
Chris Shelby couldn’t help but sigh; Cloud Bay was increasingly becoming like a girls’ school. With Medusa around, Chris Shelby enjoyed some leisure time, delving into the mysteries of the House of Rainstorms in his mind, but unfortunately, he still found nothing.
A few days later, an urgent call came through on a secure line. Chris Shelby picked up the phone and saw it was from Lynx. “Lynx, what’s going on?”
“Boss, something terrible has happened. Tiger and all members of the East Coast Guards have disappeared.”
“What? What exactly happened?”
“Boss, here’s the situation…” According to Lynx’s account, Chris Shelby understood what had transpired. Tiger and the East Coast Guards had received a mission to infiltrate enemy lines and destroy the command center at Quartz Ridge. Tiger led the East Coast Guards to attack Quartz Ridge’s command center but encountered an ambush from Quartz Ridge’s army midway and then lost all contact.
Despite sending many people to search for them, Lynx and his team couldn’t find Tiger or his men. With no other options, Lynx called Chris Shelby.
Hearing this, Chris Shelby’s face changed dramatically. He took a deep breath and said, “Lynx, no matter what it takes, you must find Tiger and his men.”
“Boss, I will do my best,” Lynx replied before hanging up.
After ending the call, Lynx immediately issued orders. “Mobilize everyone to search for Tiger and the East Coast Guards!”
“Yes!” With that command, hundreds of thousands of troops began searching along the border for Tiger and the East Coast Guards.
Meanwhile, Chris Shelby felt deep regret. He shouldn’t have let Tiger take the East Coast Guards to the border battlefield. The border battlefield was a meat grinder where countless Amerosia soldiers sacrificed their lives each year. The East Coast Guards were just a group of rookies without professional military training; sending them there was suicidal!
“Tiger, I hope you’re okay!” Chris Shelby decided he would personally go to the border battlefield. If anything happened to Tiger and his men, he would never forgive himself.
Chris Shelby gathered Bull, Michael, and Phoenix. “I’m planning to leave East Coast for a while.”
“Mr. Shelby, where are you going?” Bull and Michael asked curiously.
Chris Shelby shook his head. “Don’t ask! Bull and Michael, you’ll manage East Coast while I’m gone.”
“Yes!” Bull and Michael nodded firmly.
“The leader of Crazy Steer, Ironheart Steer, is still unresolved. If Ironheart Steer causes trouble while I’m away, handle it.”
“We understand!”
