CHAPTER 66
THE LEAD
“Wait here you would be called soon,” the lady told Isabella as she walked away, it’s was a waiting room where she would’ve before being called by the judges, she looked around and saw two other persons who was also waiting to be called in.
But she still wondered why the nice looking lady had specifically fished her out of the crowd and she just assumed it was because Vincent had mentioned her name to his friend.
And that made her happy because she was scared it would not get to her turn if she was still among the crowd.
After some minutes Isabella was called in for her interview, which she had anticipated to be tedious but to get surprise she was only asthked a few questions and was act some few scence.
After the interview she was asked to wait at the another office for the result and she was surprised at the reception she was given while she awaited the result.
She was asked what she wanted to drink and it was provided for her and they lady made sure she was comfortable but all shem hoped and prayed for was a role.
And after some few hours she was called back in by the judges forget result and just has Vincent had instructed them she was given a role.
“Oh my God!” Isabella exclaimed as she could not contain her excitement, this was all that she needed at the moment and she had gotten it all thanks to Vincent.
But she didn’t know it wasn’t just any role and she was so shocked as the manager handed her the file where her role was written and she just could not believe that she was given the female lead role.
As she walked out from the hall she wanted to ask why they had been so nice to her and how she had managed to get the lead role, but she just thought to let it be after all she was happy about the outcome.
As she walked out if the company’s building aahappily she could not wait to tell Vincent about the outcome of the interview, as she got close to the car Vincent had already seen her coming and had already gotten out of the car.
And before he could ask Isabella anything about the interview, she happily jump on him as announced her getting the role, she was so happy that she had actually forgot about the fact that Vincent was actually not that close for that reaction.
“I am so sorry about that, I lost my manners for a moment,” Isabella said as she broke out from their embrace, she had grabbed Vincent so tightly that she had felt actually felts his hard abs.
“I can see you are an happy soul,” Vincent noted as he watched her smile so loudly, he was always in awe at how her smile could lit him up whenever she did.
“I won’t say I am fully though but most of the times,” Isabella replied as she looked at the file in her hands happily, she could not wait to share the news with Audrey.
She was so grateful to Audrey for going out of her way to look for a way out of Mr White clutches and if not that she had believed in her she would not have tried.
“Thank you so much for everything, all this happened because of your help,” Isabella said as the entered the car, she knew the interview would not have been possible without Vincent’s help.
And she knew he had also sacrificed his time just to make sure she wasn’t alone man,”I am just happy that I could be of help to you,” Vincent replied as he turned on the car.
“I know you will be tired and hungry,” Vincent commented as he drove away from the company building, but Isabella quickly told him how they had actually taken care of her while she waited for the result.
“Oh that’s good,” Vincent said as he pretended to be surprised about it, when he had actually ordered that Isabella be well taken care of and made sure was not stressed during her interview.
“Yeah, and at some point I felt like today was just my best day!” Isabella noted happily. “I think this calls for a celebration!” vincent said as he waited for Isabella’s reply, “I think I would like that,” Isabella replied happily.
And immediately Vincent thought about the perfect way of celebrating Isabella’s new success and that was an ice cream date.
He took Isabella to one of his favorite ice cream shop in the city and as they got inside, Isabella could not stop smiling profusely as her happiness knew no bound.
It was going to be the beginning of her freedom and a new chapter in her life and she was sure that it would only be good things in her life from now on.
As they took their ice cream together, they both chatted away happily, Isabella went on and on about so many things and vincent was so attentive to all that she had to say.
But most times he wasn’t really listening to Isabella as he would get lost at his endless stares and sometimes Isabella had even caught him but he had stylishly denied.
After they had finished and gotten home, Isabella had called Audrey to tell her about everything that had happened, she had started from how Vincent had made the call and then told her about the interview.
And as expected Audrey was so happy for her and for the first time she was actually happy that Vincent had helped because she knew it was tedious to get a role at bluefins entertainment company.
“I am so happy for you Bella, this is going to be a huge lift to your career and this is what we have always wanted,” Audrey confirmed and it was true this was going to be Isabella’s first big movie as a female lead actress.
