CHAPTER 65
THE INTERVIEW
It was going to be a bright morning that day and Isabella was sure that it carried something beautiful along side with it because it bore her much awaited hope and she could not wait to get the outcome of her interview even before going.
She didn’t mind if it wasn’t the lead role or even an important one as long as she could make enough money to pay Mr White off her back because all she really wanted was to have peaceful life without Mr White in it.
She even got up pretty earlier than usual due to excitement and started to prepare for her day.
She wanted to get there before the scheduled time and that mean she would have to leave early as the company’s location was a little more far from their house.
After all her preparation, Isabella was ready to leave for her interview looking so nice and simple, she was wearing a beautiful flowery gown that fitted her perfectly well.
“You look nice,”Vincent remarked as he watched her walked down the room, he had already been waiting for Isabella unknowing to her.
“good morning Vincent,” Isabella greeted with an nice smile, this she was surprised to see Vincent all geared up, she only thought he had some other place to be.
“Ready?” Vincent inquired as he looked at Isabella with one his brows raised in query, but Isabella could not quite understand what he meant.
“I am ready for my interview,” Isabella answered as she waited to hear his response, she presumed his questions was regarding the interview that she was going for or maybe he had some information to share with her.
“Ok that’s fine, I hope you have everything you need with you because it’s going to be quite a far ride,” Vincent remarked as he took his car keys and headed towards the door.
He was going to take Isabella to his company for the interview because he didn’t want her to be stressed about having to find a cab, though he knew she didn’t mind.
But he wanted to make sure that she was totally safe and unstressed while to stop him from helping out once she sees that he was already dressed.
Isabella on the other hand was happy that Vincent was going to drive her to bluefins entertainments, though she had not asked him she had actually wished he would drop her off before going to the office and it seems her thoughts came to pass.
“Thank you for offering to take me,” Isabella said as placed in her seat belt, but she didn’t know that Vincent was actually offering to be with her until she was done with the interview.
“It’s fine,” Vincent replied as the car slowly began to accelerate, as they continued the journey, Isabella noticed that Vincent was taking his time to drive at rather moderate speed and it was beginning to cause her some concern.
Though she was not going to be late for me was worried about Vincent, “Don’t you have a busy day at the office?” she questioned, she wondered why he was not worried about the time because she knew his office was the opposite direction.
Which means he was going to get into traffic on his way back and she didn’t want to cause any more harm to his business. “I do not have anything on my schedule for today,” Vincent confirmed as he continued with his focus on the wheel.
He knew deep down that he had just said a lie, but he had to because he was sure if he had told Isabella that he had to cancel three important meetings just to have spend the day with her she would have turned down his kind gesture.
but he was doing it not just for her but also for himself because he would not be comfortable if he had allowed her to on her own.
Soon they arrived at the company’s parking lot and Vincent could already the mixed reaction on Isabella’s face, she was both happy and anxious.
“Thanks for bringing me,” Isabella said to Vincent as she took off her seat belt and was about to leave the car but Vincent quickly replied her.
“I will be waiting for you right here and break a leg!” Vincent exclaimed as he smiled at her and watched her walked into the company building.
It was a magnificent looking edifice that took Vincent just few years to established and with just few years into the entertainment industry world it had gained me and was already one of the biggest entertainment company in the country.
As Isabella walked into the companies lobby she quickly asked the receptionist for directions and was shown a long queue of persons waiting to be interviewed.
Though she had expected that she would not be the only one but was shocked by the multitude of persons she saw and at that moment she started to doubt if she would be able to get a role with the crowd.
“Isabella Cassie!” She suddenly heard someone say from behind as she felt the touch of a nice looking lady.
“Are you Isabella Cassie?” the lady asked trying to be sure she was the one her manger Mr Ralph had requested for her to bring in, “Yes I am,” Isabella replied with a smile though her voice was filled with surprise.
She wondered how one of the staff from bluefins had known her name and was even able to identify her, unknowing to her that Vince had already called Ralph to fetch her immediately she had left the car.
“Please come with me,” the nice looking lady said as she lead the way for Isabella to follow and as at that morning Isabella had so much thoughts rushing through her mind.
But she only hoped for the better especially because she was sure vincent would be rooting for her success and her freedom from Mr White depended on the interview.
